The violence erupted after Nolan and another man were travelling in a taxi in the Derker area of Oldham on January 16 this year. As the vehicle reached Shaw Road, the men inside the taxi spotted Glasgow-Lattibeaudiere ride by on a Surron electric bike. He was dressed in all black with his face covered and saw them in the back of the taxi. Glasgow-Lattibeaudiere then began to follow the taxi and shouted at the driver to let his passengers out. The driver pulled up and, fearing for his life, fled. The gunman shouted at the two passengers again to get out and got into the rear of the taxi himself. As he does so, one of the passengers jumped on the bike Glasgow-Lattibeaudiere had left on the side of the road. But as he tried to flee, Glasgow-Lattibeaudiere pulled out his handgun and fired, hitting him in the back. He then turned the gun through the open car door at Nolan who got out brandishing a knife. Glasgow-Lattibeaudiere fired again, missing Nolan by inches, but causing damage to the taxi. Nolan then escaped himself and was picked up by another taxi moments later. Footage of Glasgow-Lattibeaudiere running away and a series of subsequent arrests has also been released, with armed police storming a block of flats in Hulme, Manchester. Horrifying moment maniac wielding huge blade lunges at girl in packed park as terrified onlookers scream As officers made their way into the apartment, a black Puma man bag was launched from a window. It was later discovered and contained a small silver revolver that had a cylinder chamber with a capacity for five bullets. Three bullets were loaded and it was believed the two missing bullets were used in the shooting the day before. Glasgow-Lattibeaudiere was charged with two counts of attempted murder, section 18 assault, and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life. Ahead of a scheduled trial, he pleaded guilty to Section 18 wounding, attempted Section 18 wounding and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life. He was handed a 16 year-prison sentence. Brandon Nolan, of no fixed address, was also sentenced to 12 months in prison for possession of a blade. Detective Chief Inspector Charlotte Whalley from the Major Incident Team at Greater Manchester Police said: 'Today's sentencing marks a significant milestone in our ongoing fight against gun violence in Oldham. "Glasgow-Lattibeaudiere showed a complete disregard for public safety when he opened fire in broad daylight back in January, endangering not just his intended targets but innocent members of our community who were simply going about their daily lives. 'Over the past year, our firearms unit has worked tirelessly to tackle gun crime across Oldham. "We've increased patrols in known hotspots, conducted numerous weapons sweeps, and worked closely with community leaders to identify and disrupt criminal networks."
