PGA Tour's tournament in Utah has a new title sponsor for the next 3 years: Bank of Utah
For the second playing of the event in October, the tournament at Black Desert Resort will be known as the Bank of Utah Championship.
When the inaugural event was held last year, it was the first Tour stop in the state of Utah in more than 60 years. The new deal is a three-year contract through 2027. The 2025 tournament will be held Oct. 23-26 during the Tour's FedEx Cup Fall.
"After celebrating a successful return to Utah last year, the PGA Tour is pleased to introduce Bank of Utah as title sponsor of our event at Black Desert Resort, which received rave reviews from Tour players and families following the inaugural 2024 tournament," said Tyler Dennis, PGA Tour Chief Competitions Officer. "The Bank of Utah Championship is staged in one of the most unique settings found on the PGA Tour schedule, and we are eager to welcome a proud Utah company into the fold ahead of the second rendition later this fall."

The Black Desert Golf Course was the final design by the late Tom Weiskopf. Black Desert Resort also hosts the LPGA, with its inaugural tournament held last May.
Opened in 2023, the golf course has received multiple accolades in its short time in existence.
Black Desert ranks 34th on the Golfweek's Best 2025: Top 100 public-access courses in the U.S. list, 96th on the Golfweek's Best 2025: Top 200 Modern Courses in the U.S. list, and it's the No. 1-ranked course in Utah on the Golfweek's Best 2025: Top public-access golf courses in every state.

2025 John Deere Classic picks: Three long shots to back on PGA Tour this week
Gambling content 21+. The New York Post may receive an affiliate commission if you sign up through our links. Read our editorial standards for more information. The John Deere Classic occupies a really tough spot on the PGA Tour calendar. Not only is it scheduled on a holiday weekend, but it is also sandwiched between the U.S. Open and The Open Championship, it's been difficult to get star players to make the trip to the Quad Cities to play in the John Deere, as most opt to head across the pond early to get ready for the Scottish Open, which is the warmup for the year's final major. This has led to the John Deere Classic boasting arguably the weakest field of any tournament on the PGA Tour calendar. That may sound like bad news for casual golf fans, but it is terrific news for bettors. In most PGA Tour events, you need to beat at least a few elite players to contend, but this tournament is headlined by Ben Griffin (16/1), Jason Day (25/1), Denny McCarthy (28/1), and J.T. Poston (30/1), and it is played on an easy course that won't intimidate any player in this field. Last year's leaderboard featured 16 players who finished 20-under par or better. All of this should level the playing field considerably, which is good news for those of us who like to sprinkle some long shots in the golf each week. 2025 John Deere Classic Picks Max Homa (100/1, FanDuel): In a field like this, it's absolutely worth buying low on talented players who are out of form. Max Homa fits that bill. A six-time winner on the PGA Tour, Homa has endured a nightmare 2025 season, but he has shown some faint signs of life over the last few months. Homa missed five consecutive cuts going into the Masters, where he got off the schneid with a T12 finish. Since then, Homa has made six of eight cuts, and though he hasn't contended for a trophy in that span, we know he has the ceiling to lap this field. Put it this way, if Homa were not in the midst of a horrible year, he would be priced as one of the favorites to win this tournament. Adam Schenk has three top-10 finishes at the John Deere Classic. Getty Images Adam Schenk (150/1, FanDuel): The bet on Homa is about his talent, but the bet on Adam Schenk is about his course history. Schenk has three top-six finishes in his last four trips to the John Deere (not including a withdrawal), so you can excuse his poor form this season and bet on this being the perfect setup for him to pop. Adam Hadwin (220/1, FanDuel): Similar to Homa, Adam Hadwin has more than enough talent to overwhelm this field and course. The reason the Canadian is priced at 220/1 is because he's endured a rough 2025 campaign with just one top-10 finish, two top-25s, and five missed cuts in 18 starts. Hadwin will need to find his form quickly to contend this week, but his ability to get white hot with his putter makes him a good fit on a course that puts a huge emphasis on the short game. Wimbledon picks: Taylor Fritz vs. Gabriel Diallo odds, predictions
Gambling content 21+. The New York Post may receive an affiliate commission if you sign up through our links. Read our editorial standards for more information. Gabriel Diallo's game seems tailor-made for the grass. The 23-year-old Canadian stands 6-foot-8, boasts a massive serve, and is not afraid to be aggressive in the big moments. Players with that kind of toolkit are always intriguing on the grass, but we've seen this surface prove tricky for big-serving players who believe that they can simply overpower their opponents. Diallo, in his main draw debut at Wimbledon, seems to have avoided falling into that trap. Not only did the Montreal native look imperious against Daniel Altmaier in Round 1, but he also collected the first ATP title of his career last month on the lawn at the Libema Open. Diallo takes on American Taylor Fritz in one of the most intriguing matchups of Round 2. Wimbledon: Fritz vs. Diallo pick Diallo isn't the only big server in this matchup. According to the ATP, Taylor Fritz has the second-highest rated serve on Tour behind Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard, whom the American defeated in Round 1. While there are plenty of similarities between Mpetshi Perricard and Diallo, the difference is in the return game. The Frenchman wasn't able to touch Fritz's serve, but that isn't likely to be the case against Diallo. Taylor Fritz in action at Wimbledon. AFP via Getty Images Diallo's serve isn't as powerful as Mpetshi Perricard's, but he will be able to put more pressure on Fritz when he's on defense, which is something the World No. 5 didn't have to deal with in Round 1. Fritz's tank could be close to empty after his marathon match in Round 1, so don't be surprised if he can't deal with Diallo on Wednesday. The play: Diallo +250 (FanDuel) Why Trust New York Post Betting Michael Leboff is a long-suffering Islanders fan, but a long-profiting sports bettor with 10 years of experience in the gambling industry.
