Clashes erupt between Palestinians, settlers in Beita, South of Nablus

Saba Yemena day ago
Nablus – SABA:
Clashes broke out on Friday evening between Palestinian youths and Israeli settlers in the Qamas area of Beita town, located south of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.
The confrontations erupted following a settler attack on an agricultural shack in Qamas, near Mount Sabih, a flashpoint area frequently targeted by settler violence.
According to the Palestinian Safa News Agency, local sources reported that Israeli occupation forces fired live bullets and illumination flares during the clashes, which followed the residents' response to the settler assault.
Earlier on Friday morning, three Palestinians were injured after being physically assaulted by settlers, while eight others suffered from tear gas inhalation when occupation forces attacked the town of Beita.
These incidents are part of an ongoing escalation in the West Bank, where settlers, under the protection of Israeli forces, continue to launch attacks on Palestinian communities amid heightened tensions due to the ongoing war on Gaza.

Al-Quds Brigades target Zionist enemy forces with mortar shells in Abasan

Gaza – Saba: The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, announced on Saturday that they had shelled gatherings of Zionist enemy soldiers and military vehicles in the Abasan al-Kabira area, south of the Gaza Strip. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Brigades stated: "We targeted gatherings of Zionist enemy forces and their vehicles infiltrating the vicinity of Al-Nour Mosque in Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis, with 60mm standard mortar shells." This operation comes as part of the Palestinian resistance factions' response to the ongoing genocide committed by the Zionist enemy against the people of Gaza—supported by the U.S.—since October 7, 2023. The aggression has included mass killings, starvation campaigns, systematic destruction, and forced displacement, in blatant disregard of international appeals and International Court of Justice orders to cease. German Police halt Pro-Palestine march in Berlin, assault participants

Berlin – Saba: German police forcibly stopped a pro-Palestine march in Berlin on Saturday, which drew hundreds of demonstrators protesting the ongoing genocide committed by the Israeli occupation in Gaza. According to Al-Quds Al-Arabi newspaper, protesters gathered near the Wilmersdorfer Straße metro station in central Berlin, waving Palestinian flags and holding signs with slogans such as 'Stop Starving Gaza,' 'Israel is a War Criminal,' and 'Zionism is the Cancer of the World.' Chants echoed through the march condemning Israeli crimes in Gaza and criticizing the German government for supplying weapons to the Israeli regime. After the march covered a distance of about 600 meters, German police stopped it, citing alleged legal violations. Authorities announced via loudspeakers that demonstrators were only allowed to hold a one-hour sit-in at the intersection of Kant and Wieland streets. Tensions escalated between protesters and police, who imposed tight restrictions. This led to clashes and the arrest of many participants. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print more of (International)
