SAN FRANCISCO — A farmworker who fell from a greenhouse roof during a chaotic ICE raid this week at a California cannabis facility died Saturday of his injuries.
Jaime Alanis, 57, is the first person to die in one of the Trump administration's anti-immigration operations . Yesenia Duran, Alanis' niece, confirmed his death to The Associated Press.

In regards to the investigation, TMZ stated, "Law enforcement confirms to us they responded to a call about a shooting around 8 PM ET. They haven't made any arrests and call this an 'isolated incident.' The investigation is ongoing." Duane "Dog the Bounty Hunter" Chapman got engaged to his current wife, Francie, after both of their spouses died. Duane Chapman was married to Beth for 13 years before she passed away due to throat cancer. In an interview with Entertainment, Francie explained the strength of their new relationship, saying, 'We understood the pain that the other one was feeling and [in] those tough days and moments, we helped each other stand up. We could cry with each other and talk about what we were feeling. We were able to walk alongside each other through the pain and heartbreak and it brought us together in this amazing way.' Later in the Entertainment interview, Francie mentioned her grandson and Dog's budding relationship, recalling, 'I had them come over and [Duane] shows up at the door and I think my son sat there for five minutes and couldn't say a word because he was shell-shocked." Adding, "Now they love him. My grandson calls him 'Grandpa Dog' already.' Non-profit Brady United reports, "According to the CDC, there is an average of 503 people—including 106 children—who are killed each year by unintentional shootings. Further, hospital-based reporting from the Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project (HCUP) indicates that an average of 32,758 people—including 2,893 children—are unintentionally shot and sustain non-fatal injuries each year." Citrus Heights father suspected of DUI after dirt bike crash with son

A father riding a dirt bike on the road with his son is suspected of DUI after they were involved in a crash in Citrus Heights Sunday night, police said. The crash happened around 8:45 p.m. on Twin Oaks Avenue and Patton Avenue. Officers said they found 31-year-old Colton Padjen of Citrus Heights was riding a dirt bike with his 7-year-old son. An investigation determined Padjen didn't stop at a stop sign and was hit by another vehicle, officers said. Police said Padjen and his son were taken to a hospital with serious injuries. They are expected to survive, police said. Investigators said they believe alcohol was a factor in the crash and DUI charges will be requested. The road was closed for the investigation.

The brother of NFL player-turned Army Ranger Pat Tillman was arrested on Sunday morning after he was part of a car crash that resulted in a post office catching fire, Police in San Jose, California, are investigating a crash that occurred around 3 am local time, according to NBC Bay Area. Richard Tillman, Pat Tillman's brother, was taken into custody by police investigating the fire. When police arrived at the scene, they found that a vehicle had been driven into the post office and had caught fire. That fire spread to the building. Richard Tillman identified himself to police at the scene and allegedly told officers he was Pat Tillman's brother and that he'd been livestreaming the entire incident. No injuries were reported as result of the crash and subsequent fire.
