Her acting career spanned decades, including roles in MASH*, The Golden Girls, Night Court, and Raising Hope. She appeared in films such as American Graffiti (1973), The Running Man (1987), and Bridesmaids (2011).
Stewart gained a new generation of fans as Bonnie Kelly, Charlie's eccentric mom, in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. She debuted in season one (2005) and made her final appearance in 2023.
