Maahi Mereya: Abhijeet Srivastava And Varun Jain Craft A Romantic Ballad That Feels Like Home
Varun Jain and Abhijeet Srivastava's 'Maahi Mereya' is a soulful Hindi-Punjabi ballad about timeless love, composed with raw emotion and simplicity. In an era where love songs often arrive wrapped in sonic fireworks and melodramatic lyrics, Maahi Mereya by Varun Jain and Abhijeet Srivastava cuts through the noise like a quiet breath of fresh air. Released on July 2, this gentle ballad is less about spectacle and more about the stillness of real connection—the kind of love that isn't loud but lingers long after. Blending Hindi and Punjabi, Maahi Mereya captures the emotional resonance of a love that feels like home. The track features heartfelt vocals by Varun Jain, a singer-songwriter known for his soul-stirring melodies, and Abhijeet Srivastava, whose compositions often carry a rare vulnerability. Lyricist Shayra Apoorva pens the song's delicate imagery, painting a portrait of intimacy, stillness, and quiet devotion. 'Abhijeet and I wanted to create something that captures what it means to love someone with your soul and whole heart. Maahi Mereya is for everyone who's ever loved beyond logic. I hope it resonates with everyone who listens, and that they support and love this track as much as they did to all my previous releases," said Varun. Abhijeet added, 'The idea was always intimacy—the kind of melody that makes you pause mid-chaos and just feel at home. We kept it simple, raw, and real. Maahi Mereya is the kind of song that plays in the background when you look at your soulmate with heart eyes. We hope it makes people feel connected to the beautiful, everyday experiences of love." In a time where most romantic anthems chase trends and viral hooks, Maahi Mereya stands quietly apart. It doesn't shout for attention—it earns it through honesty and emotion. With each note, the track invites the listener to slow down, take a breath, and remember what it feels like to be seen. A song for soft-hearted souls and long-term lovers, Maahi Mereya is a reminder that sometimes, the most powerful love songs aren't the loudest—they're the ones that feel like home. First Published:
