As fans spotted him in the teaser, it became clear that Son of Sardaar 2 would be his swan song. Actor Vindu Dara Singh, who worked alongside Dev in the film, told IANS, 'Although he has left us, Mukul resides in all our hearts and will always remain immortal.' Vindu shared heartfelt memories from the shoot, revealing that Mukul had gained weight prior to filming but worked hard to get fit during their Scotland schedule. 'He became fit but ended up gaining the weight back after returning from the shoot. He was a very kind-hearted person,' said Vindu, recalling his co-star's warmth and dedication. Joining Devgn and Thakur in this Punjabi rollercoaster are an ensemble of talents: Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Kubbra Sait, Chunky Panday, Deepak Dobriyal, Vindu Dara Singh, Neeru Bajwa, Roshni Walia, Sharat Saxena, Sahil Mehta, and of course, the late Mukul Dev.
