At least 41 killed in Israeli attacks since dawn
Israeli forces have killed at least 41 Palestinians in attacks across Gaza since dawn, Al Jazeera Arabic is reporting, citing medical sources at al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir el-Balah. Of that figure, 24 were killed in southern Gaza. Israeli army claims to have 'eliminated' Hamas commander involved in 7 October attacks
The Israeli military issued a statement claiming its fighters have "eliminated" a Hamas commander who it said was involved in the attacks on southern Israel on 7 October 2023. In a statement on Telegram, the army said it had killed Taha Abu Ayadeh, who it claimed was a commander in the Nukhba forces, a unit of Hamas's armed wing, the Qassam Brigades. The army said Abu Ayadeh led an attack on a petrol station in the Magen Kibbutz in southern Israel on 7 October, and had led multiple attacks on Israeli forces in Gaza since then.

Israeli air strike in Lebanon kills Hamas planning department chief: Reports
Israeli media is reporting that an Israeli attack near Lebanon's northern city of Tripoli killed Hamas's planning department chief, Mahran Mustafa Baajour. We reported earlier that the Israeli army claimed an attack on a "key Hamas terrorist" near Tripoli. Lebanon 24 posted a video of a burning car in the village of Al-Ayrouniyah near Tripoli, saying it was struck by an Israeli drone. A report by Lebanon's National News Agency said a CR-V SUV was targeted by two missiles.
