90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star Ben Rathbun has died.
Rathbun died at the age of 55 on Monday morning at his residence in Greencastle, Indiana, surrounded by his family, as confirmed by a relative.
He was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer towards the end of last year and had been receiving treatment ever since.
Rathbun featured in the fifth season of the popular reality series spinoff, where his romance with Mahogany Roca, a woman 30 years younger, captured the attention of both supporters and detractors.
The ex-clergyman and father of four, who was 52 at the time, met the 22 year old Roca online. Despite suspicions from viewers that she might be catfishing him, the couple eventually met face-to-face, silencing doubters, reports the Mirror US.
Their love story, rife with cultural clashes, trust issues, and internet gossip, became a central theme of the season.
Despite their tumultuous start, it seems the duo got married after the show ended, with reports indicating Roca was by Rathbun's side when he passed away.
"Ben's journey, though unconventional, was rooted in faith and hope," remarked someone close to the family.
Rathbun's narrative was among the more contentious on the show, with audiences split over his motives and the genuineness of their connection. Nonetheless, his determination to find love and stay transparent amid scrutiny made a memorable impact on the show's dedicated fans.
Rathbun leaves behind his four children and spouse, Mahogany.
As of Monday, TLC has yet to issue a statement.

The narrative follows two childhood friends who reconnect in adulthood; while one navigates the demands of motherhood, the other is rediscovering herself after leaving a marriage. King Charles at 'blows' with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry again over grandchildren's future

King Charles is thought to be in another fall out with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex - other the pairs plans for their young children. King Charles is believed to be facing another rift with son Prince Harry and daughter-in-law Meghan Markle - this time centered around Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The British monarch has been drawn into the latest controversy after it was revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have launched a battle to get new passports for their children, reportedly with an eye toward the possibility of them resuming working royal roles in the future as part of a potential return to the UK. ‌ However, the development has sparked backlash, especially given Meghan and Harry's high profile departure in 2020 and the several different public criticisms of the royal family since, the Mirror US reports. ‌ Harry and Meghan departed the UK for Montecito, California after stepping back from official royal duties in 2020. Since then the couple have launched commercial ventures, including several Netflix series - one titled Harry & Meghan which the couple stated: "We've never been allowed to tell our story... until now." Speaking to the Guardian, a friend of the royal couple claimed the move was for "when they [Archie and Lilibet] grow older, they can decide for themselves whether they want to become working royals or stay out of public life." Prince Archie is 6 years old and Princess Lilibet is 4 years old, while Archie was born in the UK at the time when Meghan and Harry were active royals, Lilibet was born in 2021 in Santa Barbara, California. Now after facing several complications during the process and waiting for the necessary approvals, it has been reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex believes the monarch is the source of the delay. ‌ However, Buckingham Palace refuted the claims with a statement that said: "King Charles, battling cancer and governing an entire monarchy, has better and more important matters to handle than meddling in passport applications." According to The Daily Mail, King Charles reportedly found the idea of Archie and Lilibet becoming working royals "incredulous and bemusing, to say the least," especially given Megan and Harry's decision to step away from royal duties back in 2020. ‌ It is also believed that Prince William, next in line for the throne, would also block any possibility of Archie or Lilibet assuming official roles within the royal family. A source close to the Prince of Wales reportedly told The Daily Beast's Tom Sykes: "William obviously isn't going to hire Archie and Lilibet. This is just trolling on the part of Harry and Meghan." Likewise, royal commentator Richard Eden also further reported in The Daily Mail: "From what I am told, the removal of Archie and Lilibet's HRHs could be part of a wider 'slimming down' of the Monarchy when William becomes King."

More info Jim Carrey has revealed his desire to revisit a beloved character "one more time". The comedian, known for a huge variety of memorable roles ranging from the everyman Truman Burbank in The Truman Show to the darkly intriguing lead in The Cable Guy, has a particular part that resonates with him. At 62, Jim, who had previously hinted at retirement, decided to step back into the Sonic the Hedgehog series. Jim returned as Doctor Robotnik in the third film based on SEGA's iconic video game character, despite having indicated that his involvement in the sequel would be his final role. The star, celebrated for performances in hits like Yes Man, Bruce Almighty, and Liar Liar, has now divulged which character he's keen to play again. In a recent chat, Jim was asked "Is there any one character that you'd love an opportunity to play one more time?" Jim seemed momentarily taken aback, uttering "gosh," before revealing his choice, reports the Mirror US. (Image: PA) Admirers of the festive favourite 'The Grinch' will be thrilled, as Carrey seems open to donning the green suit again. He said: "If we could figure out The Grinch. That'd be difficult." While crafting a follow-up to Ron Howard's yuletide blockbuster might pose challenges, the interviewer humorously suggested that someone would "try and figure it out now". Jim added: "You know, the thing about it is, is that on the day I had to do that with a ton of makeup and I could hardly breathe and I went, you know, it was an extremely excruciating process. The children were in my mind all the time. 'It's for the kids, for the kids, the kids.' "And now with motion capture and things like that, I could be free to do some other things. But, you know, anything's possible in this world. Anything's possible." Jim has talked openly about his difficulties portraying The Grinch, admitting in past interviews that he underwent CIA training to endure breathing in the costume. He even considered walking away from the 2003 film until Oscar-winning producer Brian Grazer intervened. Brian introduced Jim, who felt as though he was "buried alive" in the suit, to a CIA contact. On his first day, Jim revealed that getting into the suit took "eight-and-a-half hours" after which he returned to his trailer and "put [his] leg through the wall" in frustration. (Image: Liverpool Echo) In his book A Curious Mind: The Secret to a Bigger Life, Grazer recounts, "One of the CIA people I'd talked to years before specialized in training US agents to survive torture if they were captured. We had an actor being held prisoner by his costume - he was being tortured by his makeup." In an interview with chat show presenter Graham Norton, Jim Carrey spoke candidly about his daunting experience while filming The Grinch. He revealed that a mix of breathing exercises and a smoking habit saw him through the challenging shoot. Jim admitted: "If you're freaking out and spiralling downward, turn the television on, change a pattern, or have someone you know come up and smack you in the head, punch yourself in the leg, or smoke - smoke as much as you possibly can." His methods clearly paid off, as the film is now considered a timeless favourite, and fans are eager to see if he might don the Grinch's costume once more.
