Oasis Wembley Stadium: Man named after falling to death
Lee Claydon was pronounced dead at the scene after attending the concert on Saturday (August 2). Witnesses described the 'horrendous' scenes after the man reportedly fell from a balcony during the band's long-anticipated reunion tour. His family have since named Lee - a 'loving family man' - as the victim. In a GoFundMe set up by his brother Aaron, it reads: 'Our family has been turned upside down and are struggling to deal with this devastation and unexpected loss.' It said: 'Lee was a loving family man who was a role model to his son Harry and was loved so much by all of his family. 'Lee would have done anything for any of us and he was taken from us far too soon and we will miss him very much. 'Lee loved all outdoor activities, one of his favourite hobbies was fishing. 'He also loved music and his guitar. He also really enjoyed going to watch and support the boys and his nephew at their football games.' According to the fundraiser, he has left behind his son, dad, partner, brothers, sisters, nephews and niece. It is hoped the GoFundMe can help his partner financially and emotionally as they are 'going through any family's worst nightmare.' The fall happened during the latest in a run of stadium shows for the band's sell-out Live '25 reunion tour – their first since splitting in 2009. 'Despite their efforts, the fan very sadly died. Our thoughts go out to his family, who have been informed and are being supported by specially trained police officers. 'The police have asked anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them.'

Oasis fans' fury over 'losing tickets' to gig-goer spotted doing strange act
Oasis fans have been left seething after one concert-goer was spotted doing something strange at the band's final night at Wembley Stadium over the weekend Oasis has nearly wrapped up the UK portion of their Live '25 tour, leaving ticketless fans green with envy as footage from the packed-out gigs floods social media. The Gallagher brothers concluded their five-night stint at London's Wembley Stadium over the weekend and are set to hit Edinburgh this weekend before jetting off to Ireland and then North America later this month. However, devotees of the Mancunian outfit who were left empty-handed in the ticket scramble have found it agonising to watch others relish the first Oasis performances in 16 years - particularly when some gig-goers appear caught on camera not fully absorbing every second of this extraordinary occasion. Certain supporters have been left stunned after clocking what one bloke was up to on his mobile during Oasis' closing Wembley show on Sunday (August 3rd), with many arguing they were denied tickets whilst people who don't dedicate their full attention to the performance managed to secure them. In footage posted by a woman called Annie on TikTok, a chap sporting an Oasis shirt who was seated several rows ahead of her was spotted playing a mobile game during the concert. She captioned the clip: "This is who you lost your Oasis ticket to." Nevertheless, she made clear in smaller text at the bottom of the video that the performance hadn't actually begun when she filmed it, meaning the man wasn't gaming during Oasis' actual set but simply killing time whilst waiting. She went on to say that she "respects the Farmville graft", a nod to the well-known farming simulation game she believed he was playing. However, it seems the man was actually engrossed in Stardew Valley, another farming simulator, this one created by ConcernedApe. In a playful twist, Annie captioned her video with a pun inspired by the famous Oasis track Roll with It, penning: "You gotta sow with it." To avoid any negative backlash towards the unsuspecting man from ticketless Oasis fans who might have misinterpreted her jest, Annie disabled comments on her video. However, fans had previously voiced their opinions on a woman's behaviour at the band's initial comeback gigs in Cardiff last month, when she whipped out her phone to search for a well-known tune. As Richard Ashcroft, the support act, belted out The Verve's hit Bittersweet Symphony, the woman was spotted using the Shazam app to identify the song. This sparked outrage among fans without tickets, who argued that she "didn't deserve" her ticket if she didn't recognise the iconic track. One disgruntled fan commented: "Imagine not knowing the greatest song of all time." Another lamented: "There's no way I lost tickets to someone Shazaming one of the most popular songs of the Britpop era." Some sided with the woman, however, highlighting that she purchased tickets to see Oasis and shouldn't be expected to recognise the support acts, regardless of their fame in other circles.

Oasis to Limp Bizkit: Biggest gigs in August and how to buy tickets for them now
From Oasis and Coldplay to Bring Me The Horizon, music fans can still get involved right now. August is the beginning of the end for summer 2025. And while we have enjoyed a huge amount of incredible music this year, we're beginning to wind down into the colder months of solo headline tours and album releases. With that said, we're not down and out just yet. Over the next few weeks, British music fans still have a plethora of massive artists performing around the country. From Oasis and Coldplay to Chappell Roan and Shawn Mendes... there's a huge array of tastes and styles. And that's before you look closely at festival line-ups. Below, we've listed the biggest and best names and festivals with concerts and shows across the UK this August. Tickets are still available from either resale website viagogo or retailer Ticketmaster - both of which are linked below. viagogo and resale tickets Sites such as viagogo, Stubhub, and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that ticket conditions often prohibit resale after initial purchase. Those tickets may not be valid for admittance to gigs. Fans intending to buy tickets for live events through resale websites should check the ticket terms and conditions, to confirm whether resale is prohibited, before they buy. Ticket terms and conditions can be checked with the original seller, such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation. If resale is prohibited, tickets bought second-hand could be voided and admission to the event refused. Oasis Oasis are very much the talk of the town, at the moment - and with good reason. The Gallagher brothers have reunited to play some of the biggest shows of their career, and they have some gigs this month in Scotland - over the next week - to continue their Oasis Live '25 tour. Tickets for these are readily available on resale website viagogo, while Ticketmaster has had some tickets come and go over the past few weeks. Here's the links: Coldplay After months of anticipation, Coldplay will be bringing their Music of the Spheres tour to the UK this month. And once they arrive, they'll be playing 12 shows across the country. With two shows in Hull and ten in London, there are plenty of opportunities for fans to get involved with the band's iconic live sound. Be warned, however: the Jumbotron kiss-cam will be making an appearance, as well. So if you've got something to hide, maybe grab the cheap seats at the back. Blackpink The monumental pop band who previously took hold of BST Hyde Park are back - and this time, for some shows that are bigger than ever. On August 15 and 16, Blackpink will be residing over Wembley Stadium for two enormous shows. Tickets for these are available right now with plenty of options left. And, what's more, they're cheaper than ever, with some tickets dropping to around £90 each. VIAGOGO - Buy Blackpink tickets here. TICKETMASTER - Buy Blackpink tickets here. Teeth whitening solution so 'effective' shoppers of all ages love it is 30% off Save £60 on 'must-have' LED face mask that 'works wonders for acne and wrinkles' Shawn Mendes Shawn Mendes' tour has sprawled the entirety of the world. And the final stop on his journey is in the UK. Mendes is an artist who likes to do things well, and because of that, he's only playing one show in Great Britain this year, and it's at London's O2 Arena. Thankfully, there are tickets floating about - but act fast if you're keen. Reading & Leeds Festival Finally, as summer begins to wane, there are precious few festival experiences left in this year. Reading & Leeds festival 2025 will cap off August, taking over the bank holiday, with some massive artists on the docket. From Bring Me The Horizon and Chappell Roan to Limp Bizkit and Hozier - this is a hugely varied line-up with some massive names. Tickets are still available with some exclusions, so be quick if you want to attend.
