ASBAYA Opens Its Doors in the Heart of Beirut: A Culinary Escape Rooted in Lebanese Heritage
ASBAYA, a new two-level dining destination, has officially opened in central Beirut, offering a refined yet soulful take on Lebanese cuisine. Inspired by the southern village of Hasbaya, ASBAYA blends modern elegance with rich cultural roots to create a space where food, nature, and hospitality come together.
On the ground floor, guests are welcomed into a sleek, contemporary restaurant serving ingredient-driven Lebanese dishes crafted with care and creativity. Upstairs, an open-air terrace offers a lush, landscaped setting with views over the city—a perfect backdrop for sunset dining or a leisurely evening with friends.
The concept is the brainchild of co-founder Jana Halimeh, who describes ASBAYA as 'a space born out of a deep love for good food, beautiful settings, and meaningful moments.' She adds, 'Whether you're here for a quiet lunch or an evening under the stars, I hope you'll feel the warmth and creativity that went into every detail.'
Acclaimed Lebanese architect Antoine Tabet designed the space with a focus on natural light, earthy textures, and clean, modern lines. Wynn Al Marjan Island announces new hotel, Enclave

Luxury reaches new heights—literally—with the reveal of Enclave , a breathtaking new experience coming to Wynn Al Marjan Island in early 2027. Set high atop the resort's iconic 300-meter tower in Ras Al Khaimah, Enclave offers a rarefied world of privacy, elegance, and ultra-personalised hospitality unlike anything seen in the region before. The brainchild of Wynn Design & Development, Enclave is a self-contained sanctuary for the world's most discerning travellers. Accessed via a private, guarded entryway and secluded drive, guests will arrive into a serene, art-filled lobby designed exclusively for residents. From there, a dramatic processional gallery leads to private elevators, each whisking guests skyward to floors that host no more than 15 suites, ensuring true seclusion and intimacy. The property comprises 313 meticulously designed suites across six unique layouts, starting at 75 sqm and culminating in two sprawling, two-storey Royal Apartments, each an architectural masterpiece crafted in collaboration with renowned designers Anouska Hempel and Pinto Design. The interiors float in a calming palette of platinum, sapphire, sea mist, and gold, reflecting the natural beauty of the Arabian Gulf just beyond the floor-to-ceiling windows. Luxury here is intuitive. From dual day-and-night pantries tailored to guests' preferences, to culturally attuned design touches, no detail has been overlooked. Outside, Enclave guests will enjoy exclusive access to a private beach and pool reserve nestled along the resort's lush East Gardens, where beach butlers will provide personalised service from chic cabanas and bungalows. Dining is equally elevated. Enclave's restaurant, perched above the grand lobby, transforms daily, from serene breakfast venue to a vibrant Lebanese fine-dining destination led by a celebrated Beirut and Paris-based restaurateur making their UAE debut. With art, architecture, and service in perfect harmony, Enclave is not simply a hotel, it's a masterpiece in the making. Liwan Village Hosts Exclusive Media Gathering to Showcase Visionary Sustainable Tourism Project and Casadar Guest House

In a captivating media event attended by a select group of journalists, influencers, and tourism industry professionals, the founders of Liwan Village unveiled a visionary tourism development project that blends sustainable architecture, authentic Lebanese culture, and luxury hospitality. Under the summer sun and the awe-inspiring natural beauty of the Annaya–Hjoula region, Mr. Henri Asseily, Managing Director of Liwan Village, and Mr. Dany Hakim, the project's Master Plan Developer, personally led the media tour. The guests were given an exclusive first look at the project's distinct zones; from the eco-tourism trails and agri-tourism lands to the event venue seamlessly carved into the mountainside. 'This is more than just a tourism destination,' said Mr. Hakim, addressing the crowd during the site walk-through. 'Liwan Village is a living vision of sustainability, community, and modern design rooted deeply in our land's spirit. From the initial master plan to every stone restored, we've worked to create something truly holistic and enduring.' Guests witnessed firsthand the project's thoughtfully integrated residential plots, guest houses, and commercial spaces designed to connect both locals and tourists to the cultural and spiritual legacy of the region. Liwan Village also announced collaborative efforts with local municipalities to create job opportunities, foster entrepreneurship, and strengthen the economic links between neighboring towns and villages. One of the highlights of the tour was the Liwan Village Event Venue, unveiled to applause as Mr. Henri Asseily explained how it was carved into ancient rock formations and restored heritage dwellings. 'This space honors the past while embracing the future,' he said. 'It's designed to host weddings, retreats, and cultural events year-round; both indoors and outdoors; all while maintaining harmony with the landscape.' The final stop on the tour was Casadar Guest House, a boutique hospitality experience nestled in the green heart of the village. Rodine El Hakim, General Manager of Casadar, welcomed the guests and gave an intimate tour of the suites, many of which feature jacuzzis, private indoor pools, or Roman-inspired bathing areas. 'With scenic views, tailored comfort, and an AI-powered guest experience platform, Casadar is redefining luxury in the Lebanese mountains,' said El Hakim. 'It's where modern comfort meets the timeless warmth of Lebanese hospitality.' Media attendees were treated to refreshments sourced from local producers and invited to experience the natural serenity that defines Liwan Village. Many described the event as an inspiring glimpse into Lebanon's potential as a sustainable and high-quality tourism destination.
