The news was confirmed in a Reddit comment by the user, who also supplied the iconic EastEnders dog Wellard.
Announcing the news, they said: 'My dog who played Terence last worked on the show in 2009, though another dog from a different company played the role for a few more episodes.
"Afraid Terence and Wellard, who I also supplied, are unfortunately long gone now. They are never with us long enough.'
Terence made his first appearance on 29 October 2001 when Billy Mitchell gave the dog to Janine Butcher as a gift for her 18th birthday.
Known as the 'glam dog' of Albert Square, Terence was often seen accompanying Janine and featured in key scenes - including moments with Archie Mitchell and Ricky Butcher during their final episodes in December 2009.
In response to the post, one fan wrote: "I'm so glad they lived such a full life full of love."
Someone else said: "So sad to hear. Doggy goes to heaven."
The most recent real-life death of an EastEnders star was Kathryn Apanowicz, who passed away at age 64 on March 12 after a prolonged illness.
She was known for her role as Magda Czajkowski - a café caterer involved with "Dirty" Den Watts - during the late 1980s to early 1990s
Before her, the next passing was Arnold Yarrow, who died on December 9, aged 104.
EastEnders fans rage about 'continuous blunder' on soap as they beg bosses 'sort it out' - did you spot it?
He was remembered for his role as Benny Bloom in the BBC soap and for writing several episodes of the show.

BBC The Repair Shop viewers demand show is taken off air after Jay Blades rape charges
Viewers were shocked to see that The Repair Shop aired in its usual slot on BBC One on Tuesday, just hours after host Jay Blades had been charged with two counts of rape The Repair Shop returned to its usual slot on BBC One on Tuesday evening at 8pm, but viewers were quick to demand that it be taken off air. Earlier today, former host Jay Blades, who stepped down from the show over a year ago, was charged with two counts of rape, with the presenter set to appear in court in August. Even though he did not feature in the new episode, social media users were shocked to see that the programme had even been broadcast at all, and demanded that it be pulled. One wrote on X: "Surely you must take the Repair shop off now if the presenter is accused of physical rape," and another asked: "Will the BBC be pulling repeats of The Repair Shop now?" A third wrote: "Could never see the point of him being in the Repair Shop he never restored anything but worn a new leather apron the show is better without him now." The contents of the episode went ahead as normal and followed the team as they restored a silver statuette that survived a shipwreck, a traditional Iranian baby hammock, a concrete portrait and a flight case once owned by rock legend Trevor Bolder. It comes after Jay Blades appeared in court hours after unrelated rape charges. The TV presenter also appeared in court today via video link on a controlling or coercive behaviour charge, which he denies, after being charged with two counts of rape. He initially stepped back from his role as presenter on the BAFTA Award-winning programme last year following the murder of his uncle. At the time, he wrote on Instagram: "I've just been to my uncle's funeral, he was murdered a few weeks ago. Really, super nice guy, shouldn't have happened to him, but it really affected me. "So what I'm intending on doing is this... I'm coming off social media for a bit, and I'll be back in a bit. Going to go and get some therapy and just chill out." Shortly afterwards in May 2024, it was reported that Blades was taking a break from TV following the breakdown of his marriage and his uncle's shock murder, with the BBC show claiming that they would simply be "carrying on without him". A source explained to The Sun at the time: "Jay has taken a step back and is having a break from filming The Repair Shop. His uncle's murder in March and the breakdown of his marriage means he has decided to take some time out. The Repair Shop is carrying on without him for now and the other repairers are hard at work. People who worked with Jay said they were shocked to hear his marriage to Lisa has ended. It was not well known at all among the people who work on the show." Blades last appeared on The Repair Shop in episodes of the show's 13th series, having appeared in episode 11 just under a year ago. The BBC is yet to confirm whether Blades will return to the show. While Blades was previously the show's foreman, that role is now shared between experts Will Kirk and Dominic Chinea. The Mirror has reached out to the BBC for comment. In a statement on Tuesday, police also confirmed separate charges of rape. The force said: 'Jason Blades, 55, of Claverley in Shropshire, has been charged with two counts of rape. He is due to appear at Telford Magistrates' Court on 13 August 2025.' Prior to that, West Mercia Police confirmed charges against the 55-year-old presenter, who stepped back from hosting The Repair Shop last year, and said that a magistrates' court date is set for Wednesday 13 August. "Jason Blades, 55, of Claverley in Shropshire, has been charged with two counts of rape," a spokesperson for the force told The Mirror. "He is due to appear at Telford magistrates' court on 13 August 2025."

Fake or Fortune guest left speechless as 'forgotten' auction painting worth £50,000
A Fake or Fortune guest was left stunned when he learned the staggering value of his item on Monday. A Fake or Fortune guest was left speechless as his "forgotten" auction painting was worth £50,000. Robjn Cantus, who lives near Cambridge, bought more than 30 paintings during a "trolley dash" at an auction house back in 2020. He was particularly excited to pick up a painting by Vera Cunningham, which was one of two items in the same lot attributed to the artist. Robjn paid £35 for the pair, but only wanted one of them. On the latest episode of Fake or Fortune, which aired on Monday (August 4), Robjn was stunned to discover that the "by-product" painting was actually a forgotten original by Frances Hodgkins, which was worth around £50,000. Hodgkins is regarded as one of New Zealand's most revered expatriate artists. Mary Kisler, an art historian from New Zealand and Hodgkins expert, studied the painting on the BBC show. "You can read Robjn's painting as fitting in to a really large number of Hodgkins' works. When you lay those works side-by-side, you can see absolutely that Robjn's work fits among them," she said. "I do wonder if this is October Landscape," Mary added, referring to a painting by Hodgkins that had not been found. "I think it's a damn good one - I'd love to have it myself." Host Fiona Bruce added: "It's phenomenal... For Robjn, it's the find of a lifetime." Speaking to Metro about the staggering valuation, Robjn shared his surprise, saying: "I did wonder if it was the painting of a schoolchild when I first saw it. "I didn't really think much of it, just shoved it into an air-conditioned barn, and it went into my storage area to be forgotten." Robjn also remained adamant that his rare item isn't for sale, adding: "Since filming, I've forgotten about it, really. "For many viewers, the show is all about wealth - but I bought the painting in 2020, and I've got to the end of this journey. "To have it authenticated after trying for all those years is worth more than the value."

Eva Price Returns To The Cobbles... And She Won't Be Alone!
ITV have confirmed that Corrie favourite Eva Price is returning to the cobbles this autumn as the landlady of The Rovers Return, and she won't be alone! Catherine Tyldesley is back filming top secret scenes in Weatherfield and she has been joined by two exciting new additions to the cast. Acclaimed actors Aaron McCusker and Pauline McLynn will be arriving alongside Catherine as Eva's partner Ben Driscoll and his interfering mother Maggie. Eva and Ben will be revealed to residents as the new owners of The Rovers Return in October - putting Eva back behind the bar of the nation's favourite pub for the first time since 2018. Eva will be reunited with her sisters Leanne and Toyah, as well as catching up with her old friends and neighbours. But what has she been up to since she left Weatherfield and how will this new clan fit into the drama on the Street? Also joining the cast will be Ben's two sons and Eva's daughter Suzie and it is safe to say the Price/Driscoll family will be arriving with a bang and a suitcase full of secrets. Corrie fans will recognise Pauline as Mrs Doyle in Father Ted and Libby Croker in Shameless. She also appeared in Eastenders as Yvonne Cotton in 2014. Aaron is best known for playing Jamie McGuire in Shameless, he also starred as Jim Hutton, Freddie Mercury's boyfriend, in the 2018 feature film Bohemian Rhapsody. Catherine left Coronation Street in 2018 after seven years on the cobbles. Since waving farewell to Weatherfield she has appeared in dramas such as Viewpoint, Suspicion, Scarborough and most recently The Good Ship Murder. Coronation Street producer Kate Brooks said: 'We are beyond thrilled that Eva is returning as the landlady of the Rovers, with her new blended family in tow. The Driscolls do not arrive quietly, so expect big drama, explosive secrets and raucous knees ups galore. To have actors of Catherine, Aaron and Pauline's considerable calibre at the beating heart of this family is absolutely wonderful, and we can't wait for you to get to know and fall in love with them as much as we have already done. Strap yourselves in, it's going to be an exciting and eventful ride.'
