Actress known for her role in a hit supernatural TV show from the 90s emerges in NYC... can you guess who?
The star also had the chance to portray the same character in a sequel series to the hit show, which famously premiered on The WB in 1997.
She kicked off her successful career in the entertainment industry in the 90s when she appeared in an episode of Baywatch.
Over the years, the Hollywood actress has worked alongside a number of celebrities such as Sylvester Stallone, Kristen Bell and Jason Statham.
Along with a thriving television career, the star has also jumped onto the big screen for a variety of film projects as well.
Can you guess who it is?
It is Charisma Carpenter from Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
The 55-year-old actress played the character of Cordelia Chase in Buffy The Vampire Slayer for three seasons before taking on the same role in the spinoff series Angel.
She was spotted on a rare outing in NYC on Thursday as she took a summer stroll in the East Village.
Carpenter - who celebrated her birthday on Wednesday - was stylishly casual in a short-sleeved, printed shirt as well as a pair of loose-fitting denim jeans.
She additionally slipped into a pair of comfy sneakers and draped a blue leash over her arm while walking her adorable dog.
Charisma's long brunette locks were parted to the side and effortlessly flowed down past her shoulders in light waves.
The star completed the ensemble by sporting a pair of fashionable brown shades as she held a conversation on the phone.
Carpenter's latest outing comes not long after she opened up about the Buffy The Vampire Slayer sequel series that is currently in development at Hulu.

Sarah Michelle Gellar - who played the titular character in the original show - is slated to reprise the role in the upcoming project.
Back in February, it was reported that a pilot has officially been ordered by Hulu with Chloe Zhao set to direct, per Deadline.
Earlier this month, Carpenter opened up about her hopes that her character could also be seen once again in the spinoff series.
During an interview with IGN, the star expressed: 'I am so excited for fans, and I know it will be fantastic because of who's involved.
'To see this actually happen for the fans makes me thrilled. I am so hopeful to be included, for Cordelia to be a part of this new iteration.'
Charisma played Cordelia Chase in the original Buffy The Vampire Slayer series for three seasons.
She went on to portray the same character in the spinoff series Angel - which also starred David Boreanaz.
However, after the fourth season, her character had been killed off and the actress later claimed that the show's creator Joss Whedon - who was also behind Buffy - had done so because she had a baby.
In 2021, she also accused Whedon of creating a 'toxic' work environment and 'abusing his power.'
She released a lengthy statement on X (formerly Twitter at the time) in solidarity with actor Ray Fisher - who had previously accused Whedon of 'abuse' and 'unacceptable behavior' while on the set of Justice League in 2017.
During her conversation with IGN, Charisma talked about her character's death in Angel and how she could potentially reprise the role in the reboot series.
'I don't know really what to make of it,' she explained. 'I'm sure there are caveats - Cordelia died on Angel not on Buffy.
'I don't know what that means for Cordelia specifically - but I'm hopeful that it includes Cordelia obviously, it would be a dream to be included, and it would just be so poetic for that to occur, and for it to occur with this group.'
When the outlet commented that she should return to the world of Buffy, Carpenter said, 'Listen, you're not gonna get an argument out of me.
'Because the way it went down for her was just - without using inflammatory language - just was not... she was built up so big, she'd grown so much, she'd had this remarkable journey, and for her to go out the way that she did just felt so unjust.'
She later gave credit to the character of Cordelia and stated that playing the role also changed her as a person.
'I'm 1,000% who I am today because of that character. I used to be a lot more demure, a lot more of a people-pleaser, a lot less outspoken, a lot smaller. Cordelia has informed who I am in a very big way.
'She brought out, in me, a side I didn't know existed, but that's what happens when you play a character for nearly 10 years,' the star added.
Carpenter kicked off her professional acting career in 1994 when she appeared in one episode of Baywatch.
Three years later she was cast in Buffy and later the spinoff series Angel until her exit from the show in 2003.
She went on to take in smaller roles in other shows including Charmed and Veronica Mars.
Charisma later jumped onto the big screen in the movie The Expendables (2010) and the sequel two years later.
The actress was previously married to Damian Hardy from 2002 until their divorce was finalized in 2008.
The former couple welcomed a son during the course of their marriage - and he will occasionally appear on Carpenter's Instagram account.

Liam Neeson 'madly in love' with Pamela Anderson as couple spark romance rumours
The pair star together in the new Naked Gun film. The tight connection between Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson has sparked global speculation as the duo remain tight-lipped about whether romance is blossoming between them. However, it appears the signs were there as early as last year when the Taken actor openly proclaimed his affection for the former Baywatch beauty. Speaking to People magazine, Liam, 73, openly admitted to being "madly in love" with the mother of two, reports the Mirror. During the chat, he revealed: "With Pamela, first off, I'm madly in love with her." He continued: "She's just terrific to work with. I can't compliment her enough, I'll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She's funny and so easy to work with. She's going to be terrific in the film." Responding to his praise, Pamela, who became a pin-up sensation during her iconic run on the nineties hit Baywatch, described him as "the perfect gentleman". She continued: "He brings out the best in respect, kindness, and depth of experience. It was an absolute honour to work with him." Whilst the pair have been cautious to focus solely on their professional partnership, Pamela accidentally revealed their connection extended beyond the workplace when she mentioned preparing meals for him. In May, she disclosed: "I also baked my sourdough bread for therapy and regularly shared with him [Liam], along with cookies and muffins." She revealed that she would leave her homemade treats in his dressing room. The pair also socialised beyond the film set. She went on: "We had many dinners out with the cast. I invited him and his assistant over for romantic dinners with me and my assistant so our relationship stayed 'professionally romantic' during filming." Their undeniable connection was evident when they attended The Naked Gun premiere in both London and Berlin. At the London premiere, Pamela sparked romance rumours when she gave Liam a kiss on the cheek. However, it was during their Berlin promotional tour that really got people talking when they recreated the famous Titanic scene. On social media, Pamela and Liam's tight friendship was obvious as they larked about on a boat. In the clip shared with followers, Pamela channelled Rose, portrayed by Kate Winslet, whilst Liam supported her waist in the style of Jack, played by Leonardo DiCaprio. Pamela looked stunning in a green dress paired with a coordinating neck scarf. She wrote alongside the footage: "From the London to Berlin... this tour has been full of smiles, laughter, and so much love... Thank you to everyone who came out to giggle with us (and watch on the big screen). NYC next!"

Fans bewildered by actor 'set to replace' Jesse Eisenberg in Social Network 2
Fans have been left baffled at the prospect of an actor replacing star Jesse Eisenberg as Mark Zuckerberg in the sequel to The Social Network. They've called the move 'odd' and questioned its impact on the film's success. There's been a flurry of reports regarding a sequel to the 2010 Oscar-winning movie about the birth of social media platform Facebook and its founder. In June, it was said that original writer Aaron Sorkin had found the right angle for the second movie after teasing the possibility for years and was confirmed to direct it as well, replacing original director David Fincher. According to Deadline, insiders revealed its title was currently The Social Network Part II although it was 'not a straight sequel' to the first movie, which also featured actors Andrew Garfield, Justin Timberlake, Max Minghella and Armie Hammer. Since then, the publication has reported that Sorkin is also keen to cast this year's best actress Academy Award winner Mikey Madison, from Anora, and The Bear's Jeremy Allen White, who will soon be seen in the lead role in Bruce Springsteen biopic Deliver Me from Nowhere. But the latest report reveals that Succession star Jeremy Strong is being eyed by Sorkin to play Zuckerberg, whose company has rebranded as Meta, having had a meeting with the filmmaker. As per The Hollywood Reporter, a source claimed that A Real Pain star and scribe Eisenberg – who was nominated for an Oscar for his work in the first film – had 'passed, at least at this time' on the opportunity to reprise the role. 'As much as I love Jeremy Strong he needs to pass on this. This will not help his career. Without Eisenberg, they should cancel this or find a way into the story without Zuckerberg as a character,' announced @WhereIsBatman89 on X, while another fan insisted: 'Jesse Eisenberg as Zuckerberg or this movie is dead on arrival.' 'We do not want him. Bring Jesse back,' commented Poppy, while @DxTCinema asked: 'Why why why we want Jesse.' Meanwhile fan Chandler called the casting rumour 'odd' and others shared their confusion over a lack of immediate similarity in Strong's and Zuckerberg's looks. 'Ah yes that's perfect they look like twins,' quipped Michael K, while Joelyn added: 'The resemblance is uncanny.' But others were thrilled at the prospect of Strong, who also impressed with his turn as Donald Trump's ruthless mentor Roy Cohn in The Apprentice – for which he was Oscar nominated for best supporting actor. 'YUP let's go. His Oscar is loading,' tweeted Mikayla Davis, with Abhinav adding: 'This cast is WILD. If the script hits, we're looking at another awards season sweep.' 'Trying to be calm about this but Jeremy Strong as Mark Zuckerberg is one of the most insane casting coups in history, like we need to give them an Oscar for even thinking about this,' enthused @paaarth319. The Social Network Part II will focus on Facebook's role in the light of the spreading of misinformation ahead of the attempted coup on January 6, 2021 in America, as well as its impact on its young users and violence, and in countries beyond the US too. More Trending It's understood Madison, if she accepts the role, would play whistleblower Frances Haugen, the data engineer who went to the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Wall Street Journal. White would be former WSJ tech reporter Jeff Horwitz, who wrote the publication's explosive Facebook Files series of articles based on her information. There was also recognition that Strong could be in contention for a role other than that of Zuckerberg, as there is said to be a part available as a WSJ editor too.
