Haryana govt completes preparations to implement Lado Lakshmi Scheme
According to a post on X from the Department of Information, Public Relations, Language and Culture (DIPR), 'Chief Minister Nayab Saini said that the state government has made complete preparations to implement the Lado Lakshmi Scheme. Under this scheme, an amount of 2100-2100 rupees will be deposited into the accounts of women this year itself.'
'A provision of 5000 crore rupees has also been made in the budget for this scheme. The significant aspect is that out of 217 resolutions, the government has fulfilled 28 resolutions in the last 5 months, and work is ongoing on 90 resolutions,' the post further read.
Furthermore, the state government will also declare results for 7500 job positions for the youth.
'The Chief Minister said that soon the state government will declare the results for 7500 job positions for the youth, and in addition, a plan is being made to provide jobs to the youth by advertising vacant posts in all departments,' it stated.
Earlier on June 23, the Haryana CM called upon Vice Chancellors of universities across the state to place special emphasis on skill development programmes to enhance the employability of the youth.
According to an official release, the Haryana Chief Minister emphasised that universities should collaborate closely with industries to bridge the gap between education and employment.
'Each university should run at least 10 per cent of its programs in collaboration with industrial partners. This initiative is expected to create employment opportunities for the state's youth while addressing the evolving needs of various industries,' he said. (ANI)

RBI bans foreclosure fees on floating rate personal & small biz credit
MUMBAI: After banning penal charges for foreclosing/pre-payment penalties on mortgage loans a few years back, the Reserve Bank has barred all lenders from levying such charges on floating rate loans granted to micro and small enterprises. The regulator has also debarred any lenders from penalizing personal loan borrowers if the credit is on floating rates. In a circular issued late last night, the regulator said the new regulations will be applicable for all such loans sanctioned or renewed after January 1, 2026. The RBI cited divergent practices among regulated entities with regard to levy of pre-payment charges in case of loans sanctioned to small businesses. And that it has found some lenders include restrictive clauses in loan contracts to deter borrowers from switching over to another lender. The directions are meant for all commercial banks, tier IV urban primary co-operative banks, upper layer non-banking financial companies, and all-India financial institutions, the Wednesday night circular said, adding however, the directions will not be applicable to small finance banks, regional rural banks and local area banks. 'All small finance bank, a regional rural bank, a tier III primary urban co-operative banks, state cooperative banks, central cooperative banks and all medium layer NBFCs will not levy any pre-payment charges on loans with sanctioned amount/limit up to Rs 50 lakh,' the RBI said. The regulator also said for all loans granted for the purposes other than business to individuals, with or without co-obligants, a regulated entity will not levy pre-payment charges. In case of cash credit/overdraft facilities, no pre-payment charges will be applicable if the borrower intimates the lender of her intention not to renew the facility before the period as stipulated in the loan agreement, provided that the facility gets closed on the due date.

DAC clears 10 capital acquisition proposals of Rs 1.05 lakh cr
New Delhi, July 3 (UNI) The Defence Acquisition Council, chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, today accorded Acceptance of Necessity (AoN) for 10 capital acquisition proposals amounting to around Rs 1.05 lakh crore through indigenous sourcing. The AoNs were accorded for procurement of armoured recovery vehicles, electronic warfare system, integrated common inventory management system for the Tri-Services and Surface-to-Air missiles. These procurements will provide higher mobility, effective air defence better supply chain management and augment the operational preparedness of the Armed Forces. AoNs were also accorded for procurement of moored mines, mine counter measure vessels, super rapid gun mount and submersible autonomous vessels. These procurements will enable mitigation of potential risks posed to the naval and merchant vessels. To provide further impetus to indigenous design and development, AoNs were accorded under the buy (Indian-Indigenously Designed Developed and Manufactured) category. UNI RBE SS

Indian defence and aerospace startup Raphe mPhibr, which played a crucial role in Operation Sindoor, has raised $100 million (around Rs 835 crore) in its latest funding round. The round was led by General Catalyst and was the largest-ever private funding in India's aerospace manufacturing sector. Other participants were Think Investments, Amal Parikh, and several prominent family offices. After this, the startup's total funding has reached $145 million, meaning Raphe mPhibr has secured over Rs 1200 crore in total investment to date. What Does Raphe mPhibr Do? It was founded 10 years ago and based in Noida, Raphe mPhibr was established by Vivek Mishra, who is also its CEO. The company develops drones and other unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Many of which are already in use by the Indian Armed Forces, while others are in their final testing phase. Apart from this satellite launch technology has recently been handed over to HAL.
