New video reveals potentially positive injury news for Commanders
When Brown went down with an injury, head coach Dan Quinn offered no update. And since it was the offseason, the Commanders weren't required to provide injury updates. However, one team insider said he didn't believe the injury was serious, and Brown was at an event in his hometown after the injury and appeared fine.
Here's the Instagram video showing Brown working out and preparing for training camp.
The 6-foot-2, 225-pound Brown was claimed by the Commanders off waivers last August after he was surprisingly let go by the Houston Texans. Brown immediately made his impact felt for Washington, developing a strong rapport with quarterback Jayden Daniels and establishing himself as one of his top receivers. Brown will forever be remembered for being on the receiving end of Daniels' Hail Mary to shock the Chicago Bears as time expired.
Unfortunately, Brown suffered a kidney injury in Week 13 and was lost for the season. He finished his first year in Washington with 34 receptions for 453 yards and one touchdown. He was also among the league leaders in drawing defensive pass interference penalties.
The Commanders re-signed Brown to a one-year contract this offseason. While he will not serve as Washington's No. 2 receiver this season due to the addition of Deebo Samuel, he figures to remain a significant part of Kliff Kingsbury's offense.

Report – Inter Milan & Atalanta In New Talks Earlier Today Over Nigeria Star
Inter Milan and Atalanta reportedly reopened discussions over Ademola Lookman earlier this morning. According to Alfredo Pedulla via FCInter1908, the clubs have resumed talks with renewed optimism. Despite Atalanta's firm stance, Ademola Lookman is keen to force his transfer to Inter. Indeed, the player already has an agreement with the Nerazzurri over personal terms. Furthermore, he plans to hold Atalanta to last year's promise and secure a move to San Siro. Inter Milan & Atalanta Renew Talks over Ademola Lookman BERGAMO, ITALY – JANUARY 18: Ademola Lookman of Atalanta BC looks on during the Serie A match between Atalanta BC and SSC Napoli at Gewiss Stadium on January 18, 2025 in Bergamo, Italy. (Photo by) Inter's opening €40 million bid fell short of Atalanta's asking price. Meanwhile, La Dea are holding out for €50m. However, Lookman's desire to join the Nerazzurri could force Atalanta's hand. Negotiations paused for a while, but the clubs met again this morning to discuss terms. Indeed, Inter are growing confident of snatching away the 27-year-old before the end of July. Lookman's will could unlock the deal, with Inter aiming to intensify talks in the coming days. On the other hand, they're working to offload Mehdi Taremi, which would see them collect the necessary funds.

Bears $24 million playmaker could lose job during training camp
The 2025 Chicago Bears will be about how the offense handles new head coach Ben Johnson with second-year quarterback Caleb Williams. Last season, the Bears' offense had a lot of ups and downs, which is why the team went out and hired Johnson to ensure Williams can improve in Year 2. One way Williams can have a better season than last year is if he gets support from the running game, but the team failed to upgrade the position this offseason. The Bears only brought in Rutgers running back Kyle Monangai, who was drafted in the seventh round to go along with Roschon Johnson, D'Andre Swift, and Travis Homer. As of right now, Swift is No. 1 running back on the depth chart, but Bryan Perez from Bears On SI thinks Swift could lose his job if he doesn't have a strong training camp."This one's obvious. The Bears inked Swift to a three-year, $24 million contract last offseason, but that doesn't matter now. Maybe they wouldn't have if Johnson were the head coach. And now that Johnson is in town, he'll decide what Swift's future with the team is," Perez wrote. "That future could very well be a bell cow running back who vaults into the top-10 running backs in the NFL. Swift certainly has the explosive skill set to be that guy, but if 2024's production was an indication of the kind of player he'll be in Chicago, it won't be long before Roschon Johnson or rookie Kyle Monangai replaces him." In one season in Chicago, Swift rushed for 959 yards and six scores, but those numbers will have to improve if he wants to be the lead back all season in the Windy City.
