Overland Park police asking for help in identifying robbery suspects

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police are asking the public for help in identifying two people involved with a suspected felony theft at a store in Overland Park.
According to the , at about 1:25 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 20, the suspects walked into a store near West 115th Street and Metcalf Avenue and stole several pieces of computer and electronic merchandise.
OPPD said the individuals then fled the scene in a maroon Chevrolet Malibu with a temporary Missouri license plate. Officers tried to stop the suspects, but they drove away from police.

'We see the body in the river, our dive team comes in, at that point, that body is evidence,' Albert said. 'So our dive team's trying to recover evidence in the water. Our dive team will come in, they will not move the body until the coroner's office is on scene, just in case something like this occurs. According to the Kansasville Fire Department, the crash happened on State Highway 20 near County Highway N in the town of Dover. The truck, which was towing a dump trailer filled with construction or demolition debris, veered off the road, crossed the opposite lane, and flipped into a ditch. The trailer spilled its contents, and the vehicle landed upside down.
