Jenna Ortega's ‘Winter Spring Summer Or Fall' Gets Streaming Date

Winter Spring Summer or Fall — a romantic drama starring Jenna Ortega and her former Wednesday co-star Percy Hynes White — is coming soon to digital streaming and theaters.
Directed by Tiffany Paulsen, Winter Spring Summer or Fall held its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in June of 2024.
Ortega stars in the film as Remi, a genius high school who is Harvard-bound after high school. Remi begins to rethink her path, though, after she meets her neighbor's best friend, Barnes (Hynes White), who is not sure of his next step and is taking a gap year after high school.
Facing uncertainty over where their relationship will go, Remi and Barnes experience different twists and turns over the course of a year, through winter, spring, summer and fall.
Written by Dan Schoffer, Winter Spring Summer or Fall also stars Adam Rodriguez and Marisol Nichols as Remi's parents, Javier and Carmen.
Paramount Pictures announced in YouTube video Monday that Winter Spring Summer or Fall will be released on digital streaming via premium video on demand on Friday, April 25. The film will also open in limited release in theaters the same day.
Winter Spring Summer or Fall is listed for pre-order for $18.99 on Prime Video, which will also be the film's purchase price. Since PVOD titles generally are $5 less than purchase prices, viewers can expect to rent Winter Spring Summer or Fall for 48 hours for $13.99.
In additon to Prime Video, the film will be available on a variety of digital platforms including AppleTV and Fandango at Home.
In a Zoom conversation prior to the world premiere of Winter Spring Summer or Fall at the Tribeca Film Festival, director Tiffany Paulsen said she was lucky to land Jenna Ortega for the film because her career immediately shot into the stratosphere following the release of director Tim Burton's Wednesday Season 1 on Netflix in 2022.
'It's an interesting story in that we started shooting on Halloween day of 2022,' Paulsen said. 'In order to get Jenna for the movie we had to do backflips and cartwheels and jump through so many hoops … we only had a little window of time. I think it was 11 days.'
On top of that, Percy Hynes White played a key role in Wednesday Season 1 as well.
'We had to shut down production for three weeks in order to allow her and Percy to do all the Wednesday press. I think Jenna went to the Brazil Comic-Con and she was traveling,' recalled Paulsen. 'Then Wednesday premiered and she came back to us as this global phenomenon had exploded and we shot the rest of the movie. So, we got her at this very interesting and monumentally exciting time in her career.'
Paulsen, who makes her directorial debut with Winter Spring Summer or Fall, has previously written the screenplays for such hits as Holidate, Nancy Drew and the remake of Adventures in Babysitting.
Now, with her first film as a director under her belt, Paulsen said she couldn't have asked for a better star to work with to kick off her career as a director.
'In the first couple of days of shooting, I felt for my first movie I had really won the lottery to have this girl and her talent and this story,' Paulsen said. 'I don't know what more I could have asked for.'
Rated R, Winter Spring Summer or Fall, starring Jenna Ortega and Percy Hynes White, arrives on digital streaming and in limited release in theaters on April 25.

Surprise! Johnny Depp joins Alice Cooper for Ozzy Osbourne tribute

Alice Cooper and his surprise guest Johnny Depp have paid tribute to Ozzy Osbourne. Depp made an appearance with Cooper during the rocker's concert at London's O2 Arena on Friday, July 25. The "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor, 62, joined Cooper, 77, in honoring Osbourne by playing guitar during a performance of the classic Black Sabbath song "Paranoid," according to video from the show shared on social media and YouTube. Depp formed the rock group Hollywood Vampires with Cooper in 2012. Cooper wore an Osbourne shirt for the tribute performance, which came days after the Black Sabbath musician died on July 22 at age 76. According to a statement from Osbourne's family, he "was with his family and surrounded by love." Cooper previously paid tribute to the rock icon in an Instagram post, noting he heard the news minutes before going on stage and subsequently dedicated his July 22 performance in Wales to the musician. "Well, we all know that time is going to take us rockers, but when the giants fall, it's really hard to accept," Cooper shared. "Even though everybody saw it coming with Ozzy, it just took our breath away when it happened. So Ozzy and family − your records and your music and your legend and all that you brought − the humor to the rock business − will live on forever and we're gonna miss you, man." Cooper also said that Osbourne "earned immense respect among his peers and from fans around the world as an unmatched showman and cultural icon." "He was and will continue to be a rock n roll legend. Rock n Roll is a family and a fraternity," he added. "When we lose one of our own it bleeds. I wish I would have gotten to know my brother Ozzy better." Cooper spoke further about Osbourne on "The Scott Mills Breakfast Show," noting the two of them "really got along" and shared a desire to continue performing as long as they could. Osbourne died just weeks after he performed during a farewell show with Black Sabbath. "Ozzy was one of those guys that was a lifer," Cooper reflected. "There are certain guys that are lifers − the (Rolling) Stones, The Beatles − that are still doing it and doing it amazingly well. I'm going to do this until I can't do it, and I think Ozzy was the same thing."

'We're not in Richmond anymore': What we know about 'Ted Lasso' Season 4

Believe it — Season 4 of Ted Lasso has officially begun production, Apple TV+ announced this week. That's right, Coach Lasso, the show's beloved mustachioed and mild-mannered namesake, who helped guide audiences through a global pandemic with optimism and humanity, is back on the football pitch. Well, this calls for biscuits. Filming has officially kicked off in star Jason Sudeikis's (Ted Lasso) hometown of Kansas City, Mo. Mayor Quinton Lucas called it 'another major victory for the city's rapidly expanding film industry,' in a post on X, in which he appears to be sporting a blue Ted Lasso hat. Additional filming is also set to take place across the pond in London. Apple TV posted a video on Instagram of Jeremy Swift (Leslie Higgins), Hannah Waddingham (Rebecca Welton), Juno Temple (Keeley Jones) and Sudeikis are sitting in what appears to be a booth at a traditional American restaurant as some of the key members of AFC Richmond get ready to film a scene. The caption reads: 'We're not in Richmond anymore. Ted Lasso Season 4 is now in production.' The streaming service confirmed back in March that there would be a fourth season. The show has won 13 Emmy Awards and has received a total of 61 Emmy nominations. Barbecue sauce. What can fans expect in Season 4? At the end of Season 3, Ted ends up returning to the U.S. after coaching the fictional AFC Richmond soccer team in London in order to be closer to his son, Henry. The streaming service indicates on its website what fans can expect in the highly anticipated new season: 'Ted returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women's football team. Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would.' Do we know when Season 4 will be released or if there's an official trailer? So far, Apple TV+ says a release date for Season 4 is coming soon. No official trailer has been released yet, aside from this week's teaser. Which characters will return? Even though they're not pictured in the promo image, the wise Coach Beard (Brendan Hunt) and Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein) will be back. Grant Feely will replace Gus Turner as Ted's son, Henry. Other newcomers to join the cast in roles that have yet to be revealed include: Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey and Abbie Hern. Who is not returning? Fan favorites like Nick Mohammed (Nate Shelley) and Phil Dunster (Jamie Tartt) along with Sarah Niles (Dr. Sharon Fieldstone), Anthony Head (Rupert Mannion), Toheeb Jimoh (Sam Obisanya), James Lance (Trent Crimm), Cristo Fernández (Dani Rojas), Kola Bokinni (Isaac McAdoo) and Billy Harris (Colin Hughes) weren't named as regular returning characters in Season 4. 7 hidden Roku tricks every user should know

Your Roku does way more than just stream Netflix and Hulu. Beneath its familiar interface lies clever features and shortcuts that can improve your streaming experience in surprising ways. Most people never discover these lesser-known tricks, missing out on convenient tools that save time and frustration every day. Some features help you navigate more efficiently, while others solve common problems you didn't even realize had solutions. There are also hidden settings that protect your privacy and secret screens that aren't mentioned anywhere in the official documentation. Whether you're a longtime Roku user or just got started, these hidden features will improve your experience with one of the best streaming devices. Instead of managing separate watchlists across Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, and every other streaming service, Roku lets you create one master list that works across all services. Use the Roku OS to search for shows and movies you want to watch, then select Add to Save List on each title's details page. This saves everything to a universal watchlist that you can access by going to the Roku home screen and selecting What to Watch. Your universal list shows everything in one place, making it much easier to decide what to watch next. The physical Roku remote is functional, but your phone can do so much more. Download the Roku Official Remote Control app for iOS or Android and you'll get a full keyboard for easy searching, the ability to stream content directly from your phone, as well as voice search. The app also lets you browse and launch channels without looking at your TV screen. You can type search terms quickly and if you lose the physical remote, your phone becomes an instant backup. The app even shows what's currently playing and gives you playback controls. If your remote has vanished into the couch cushions again, you don't need to tear apart your living room. If you have a remote with a speaker grille, open the Roku app, tap the microphone, and say "Hey, Roku, find my remote." The remote will start beeping so you can track it down. For Roku Ultra devices, just long-press the button on the right side of the device and the remote will beep. If you have a Voice Remote Pro, you can say "Hey, Roku, find my remote" directly to the TV and it will start beeping. Once you find it, press any button to stop the noise. You can even customize the beeping sound in Settings if the default tone isn't loud enough. When friends or family visit, they can use your Roku without messing up your recommendations, watchlists, or personal settings. Go to to set up a PIN, then press the Home button on your Roku remote and navigate to Settings, System, Guest Mode, and Enter Guest Mode. Then enter your PIN and select OK to activate it. Now guests can sign into their own streaming accounts and use the device normally, but their viewing history won't affect your algorithms and they can't see your personal content. Late-night binge-watching doesn't have to wake up your household. If you have a first-generation Voice Remote Pro, you can plug headphones directly into the remote's headphone jack and audio will automatically redirect from the TV to your headphones. For newer remotes without headphone jacks, use the Roku mobile app's Headphone Mode to listen through your phone's headphones or earbuds. The TV audio gets muted while you get full sound through your personal audio device. This works great for apartments, shared living spaces, or when your partner goes to bed early but you want to keep watching. Roku has hidden diagnostic screens can help you troubleshoot problems. These secret screens let you run network speed tests, view detailed system information, check channel installation logs, and perform various resets when your device isn't working properly. You can access these by pressing specific button combinations on your remote or entering special codes. To run a network speed test, press Home 5 times, then Up, Down, Up, Down, Up and you'll get access to speed testing, reset, and logging options. For a soft reset when your Roku is acting up, press Home 5 times, Up once, Rewind twice, and Fast Forward twice and your device will restart without erasing settings. The speed test screen is particularly useful for diagnosing streaming quality issues, showing you exactly how fast your internet connection is performing on the Roku device itself. Tired of being blasted awake by loud commercials or having to constantly adjust volume between quiet dialogue and loud action scenes? To avoid this, press the star button on your remote during playback, then navigate to Sound Settings and Volume Mode. Turn on Leveling to prevent sudden volume spikes from commercials and channel changes. You can also enable Night mode to boost quiet sounds and reduce loud ones, which is perfect for late-night viewing when you don't want to disturb others. For Roku Streambars and Soundbars, you'll find these options under Settings, Audio and Volume Modes instead.
