Yosemite vs. Yellowstone: Which national park is the real GOAT?
Two parks, but both two different worlds. Who's the GOAT?
Let's break it down.
Breathtaking scenery
Yosemite with towering cliffs, gushing waterfalls, and those moody misty valleys will make you feel like buying that drone instantly. Tunnel View is as cinematic as it can get, whereas the Half Dome is like nature's version of a flex.
Yellowstone offers unparalleled opportunities for wildlife viewing, where you also get to see those alien-looking geysers, rainbow-hued hot springs, and a canyon so dramatic that you might probably think that you have landed on some other planet.
It's less about photogenic drama and more about believing.
Yosemite wins for its postcard beauty, whereas Yellowstone wins the weird-and-wonderful segments.

Wildlife beauty
Yosemite's got classic deer, bears (hide the snacks), and some curious marmots. It's serene, safe-ish, and usually photobombed by squirrels.
But Yellowstone? Here, we're talking bison traffic jams, grizzlies, and wolves that might just stare into your soul. This is

Crowd
Yosemite in peak season feels like Times Square, crowded. Good luck finding parking unless you arrive at 3 AM!
Yellowstone's got more land, and gives it a bit of breathing room. Sure, you might get to see some people, but you can usually escape the crowds by walking five minutes in literally any direction.
If you are not the one who likes to be surrounded by the crowd, Yellowstone should be your pick.

The 'Wow' factor
Yosemite has that 'epic' vibe.
It's Insta-glam, yet grounding.
Yellowstone? It's chaotic good. One minute you're admiring bubbling mud pots, the next you're wondering if the supervolcano is doing some action. It's weird, wild, and slightly terrifying—in a fun way.
So, which one is the winner will depend on your flavor of awe. Yosemite is dramatic. Yellowstone is unpredictable.
If you want raw, cinematic beauty and a chance to stare at waterfalls, Yosemite is your go to place. If you're into geologic oddities, big animals, and existential thrill, Yellowstone is your pick.
So, both are unique in their own wild way. You be the GOAT and pick the one that offers you memories of lifetime.

Is U.S. entry now a $15,000 gamble for travelers? Here's what the State Department plans
Visa bond rule: U.S. may soon require business and tourist visa applicants to pay up to $15,000- The U.S. State Department has unveiled a controversial visa bond proposal that could make travel to America much costlier for many international visitors. Here's everything you need to know about the new rule, who it impacts, and how it may affect travel and tourism in 2025. U.S. visa applicants could be required to pay a refundable bond of up to $15,000 In a new move that's sparking global attention, the U.S. State Department is preparing to launch a 12-month pilot program requiring business and tourist visa applicants to post a refundable bond ranging from $5,000 to $15,000. This program, aimed at reducing visa overstays and tightening border controls, will apply specifically to travelers from countries with historically high rates of visa violations. It marks one of the most significant updates to U.S. visa rules in recent years, with strong implications for international tourism, immigration, and global diplomacy. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 15 Most Beautiful Women Ever Today's NYC Undo Who will be affected by the visa bond pilot program? This pilot program applies to temporary visitors entering the U.S. on B‑1 (business) and B‑2 (tourist) visas, especially from countries the U.S. deems high-risk for visa overstays—defined as nations with a visa overstay rate of 10% or higher. These may also include countries with limited identity verification systems or those offering citizenship-by-investment without requiring residency. Important: Travelers using the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) or ESTA will not be affected by the bond requirement. Live Events The official list of targeted countries is expected to be published by August 5, 2025, giving applicants a brief window to apply before the new rules take effect. How much will the visa bond cost? Under the rule, U.S. consular officers will have discretion to determine the bond amount on a case-by-case basis. Depending on the traveler's background, financial status, and purpose of visit, the bond will be set at one of three levels: $5,000 $10,000 (default amount for most cases) $15,000 Applicants will be notified in writing if they are subject to the bond, and they must submit payment via through a secure Treasury/ICE system. The bond will only be processed after the visa is approved. What happens to the bond after the visit? The bond is fully refundable—but only if the visa holder leaves the U.S. within the authorized time and complies with all visa terms. The refund is typically processed: Upon departure from the U.S. In case of the traveler's death If the traveler becomes a U.S. citizen Failure to depart on time or violation of visa terms will result in forfeiture of the full bond amount. There is no appeal process, and refunds may take time depending on inter-agency coordination. Can the visa bond be waived? Yes, but only under specific conditions. Waivers may be granted for: Humanitarian reasons Public health or national interest Diplomatic or government-related travel However, decisions on waivers are final and made solely at the discretion of the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Visa Services. There is no formal appeals process for bond waiver denials. Why is the U.S. proposing a visa bond now? The idea is not entirely new. A similar visa bond program was introduced in 2020 under the Trump administration, but it never took effect due to the COVID-19 pandemic and global travel shutdowns. The 2025 proposal is more detailed and structured, with the goal of reducing visa overstays and encouraging better cooperation from foreign governments. Officials are framing it as a 'diplomatic tool' rather than just a deterrent—one that incentivizes countries to strengthen their internal documentation systems and discourage their citizens from overstaying in the U.S. What travelers and immigration advocates are saying? Many immigration experts and travelers have expressed concern that the $10,000 average bond will create financial hardship, especially for travelers from developing nations or those visiting for medical, family, or business reasons. There are also concerns about: Equity and access : The bond may prevent legitimate visitors from applying due to high upfront costs. Tourism industry impacts : Travel and hospitality sectors may see a decline in visitors from affected regions. Administrative burden : Processing, monitoring, and refunding bonds will require significant resources from ICE, DHS, and Treasury. What to expect next and how to prepare? The pilot program is expected to take effect by August 20, 2025, so travelers should watch for the official country list and implementation guidelines on Until then, visa applications remain unaffected by the bond. For travelers from potentially impacted countries: Consider applying before the bond rule takes effect. Budget for the bond if you plan to travel after August. Prepare all required documents to improve your chances of approval without bond enforcement. Monitor updates through your local U.S. embassy or consulate. A major shift in U.S. visa policy The visa bond pilot program marks a major shift in U.S. immigration and travel policy. By imposing a refundable financial penalty for potential overstays, the U.S. hopes to curb illegal immigration while maintaining security. But with the global travel industry still recovering, this rule could have wide-reaching consequences for international relationships, tourism, and immigrant communities. Whether this pilot becomes permanent will depend on how it unfolds over the next 12 months. For now, travelers, legal experts, and policymakers will be watching closely. FAQs: Q1: What is the U.S. visa bond rule for 2025? The U.S. may soon ask visa applicants to pay up to $15,000 as a refundable bond to enter the country. Q2: Who needs to pay the new visa bond? Business and tourist visa applicants from countries with high overstay rates may be asked to pay.

Noida Authority set to build 35 traffic booths in city
Noida: The Noida Authority is planning to construct around 35 modern traffic booths across the city to enhance the working conditions of traffic personnel and streamline vehicular movement in high-traffic zones. These booths will be installed at those points where traffic volume is consistently high, particularly during peak hours. These include busy intersections, roundabouts, and identified "dark spots" where traffic regulation is currently hampered due to the absence of infrastructure. Authority officials have nearly finalised the design and are expected to float tenders for construction soon. "These booths are crucial to protect traffic personnel from extreme weather conditions while also offering them a vantage point to manage traffic more effectively," said a senior Authority official. In June, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Lakhan Singh Yadav, wrote a letter to the Authority mentioning about 30 key locations for the booths. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Cardiologists: Teaspoon On an Empty Stomach Slims Waist from 36 To 22 Health Wellness Journal Learn more Undo This number has now gone up. The Authority plans to complete the construction and installation of the booths over the next few months, pending the finalisation of the tendering process.

Ajni-Pune Sleeper Vande Bharat Likely to Launch Soon
Nagpur: The highly anticipated Ajni-Pune sleeper Vande Bharat train is likely to become a reality soon, with its launch expected later this month. This train is likely to be flagged off alongside two more Vande Bharat trains, connecting Belgaum-Bengaluru and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Amritsar, by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in August. The decision to introduce the Ajni-Pune Vande Bharat comes as a boon for travellers, especially with the festive season approaching, when demand surges on this route. The train is expected to alleviate the pressure on existing transport options, as buses and flights often see skyrocketing fares, while trains are overcrowded during this period. Sources indicate that once redevelopment work at Nagpur station is complete, the train may originate from there instead of Ajni. The Ajni-Pune Vande Bharat is planned to cover key stations, including Wardha, Badnera, Akola, Bhusawal, Jalgaon, Manmad, and Daund, before reaching Pune. This route promises to offer a faster, more comfortable travel option for passengers travelling between these bustling cities. The addition of the Belgaum-Bengaluru and Katra-Amritsar Vande Bharat trains further underscores the govt's push to expand the high-speed, semi-luxury train network across India. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 11 Foods That Help In Healing Knee Pain Naturally Undo These trains are designed to enhance connectivity, reduce travel time, and provide modern amenities, making them a preferred choice for passengers.
