EXCLUSIVE Disgruntled Michael McIntyre gets his £195,000 Mercedes sportscar TOWED in Kensington

Daily Mail14-05-2025
Michael McIntyre was left unimpressed after having his luxury sportscar towed in High Street Kensington, London, on Wednesday.
The comedian, 49, was photographed speaking to an official as his high-end £195,000 vehicle was hoisted on to the back of a lorry with its wheels clamped.
Michael looked unimpressed as he had an animated discussion with an official, who wore a yellow hi-vis jacket as builders watched on.
The funnyman looked dapper in a navy suit and pink shirt while he sported his signature square glasses for his unfortunate outing into the city.
Michael's vehicle, a Mercedes-AMG GT R, had been hoisted on to the back of a tow truck as it was moved from the street.
It is not known why Michael's vehicle was towed.
MailOnline has contacted Michael's representatives for comment.
Michael's specific car model retails for anywhere between £155,000 to £195,000 and boasts a 4.0litre twin-turbo V8 engine.
The limited-edition vehicle has the ability to produce 585 horsepower and can accelerate from 0-62mph in just 3.6 seconds, with a limit just shy of 200mph.
It is not his first car from the German automotive brand as he also owned a dark blue Mercedes AMG GT, which he purchased back in 2014.
The $144,000 motor boasted some very lavish features including climate control, leather upholstery and parking assistance with 360-degree camera.
It also boasts full LED headlamps, alloy wheels of at least 20 inches and heated front and rear seats.
Michael has long boasted a luxury collection of cars and has also owned expensive vehicles including a Ferrari and a Jaguar over the years.
The stand-up comic has also been spotted driving a £150,000 Ferrari California, which has a top speed of 193mph and can do 0-60mph in 3.8 seconds.

Back in 2010, Michael also purchased a £80,000 Jaguar XK convertible to ferry himself around the country.
The super-car has a V8 5.0 litre engine can go from 0-60 in 4.6 seconds.
His top of the range line-up of cars is also said to include a BMW X5 and a Porsche Cayenne.
Michael has previously told how he and wife Kitty spent years living in rented flats and at one point were £40,000 in debt before he found national fame as a comedian.
Now, Michael is said to have a staggering net worth of £80million and also owns at least two multi-million-pound properties in the UK.

Lewis Hamilton comforted Kimi Antonelli after tricky Belgian GP

Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli received advice from Lewis Hamilton during a challenging weekend at the Belgian Grand Prix. Antonelli, 18, has experienced a difficult run of Formula 1 races since his podium finish in Canada, including retiring from two Grands Prix and finishing 16th at Spa. Hamilton visited Antonelli in the Mercedes motorhome and encouraged him to 'keep his head up' and 'keep believing' after Antonelli was emotional following Q1 elimination. Hamilton, who also started his F1 career with a top team, expressed support for Antonelli, acknowledging the pressure on an 18-year-old in such a position. Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff has stated that retaining Antonelli and George Russell is now his 'priority' for the next season.

Mercedes has nearly 1,000bhp, courtesy of Brabus

You're looking at the Brabus 1000, a modified version of the Mercedes-AMG GT Coupe that comes with a collection of styling and technical upgrades, and some colossal performance figures. Brabus has not announced any prices for its new two-door flagship, but given that the car on which it's based already costs well over £185,000, we suspect it'll be another big number. Advertisement - Article continues below The company's modifications to the Porsche 911 rival run deep, including a heavy update of AMG's twin-turbocharged V8 engine. It has been enlarged from 4.0 to 4.5 litres, plus two new turbochargers with higher boost pressures have been fitted. However, the car's headline power figure isn't derived from just a V8 engine, because Brabus has based the 1000 on the GT 63 S E Performance, which pairs a 197bhp electrified rear axle with the traditional petrol engine. As such, this would mean the V8 engine develops around 800bhp in order to create the total output of 1000hp (987bhp), from which the car's name is derived. This is the same powertrain used in the four-door Brabus Rocket 1000, which produces 1,820Nm of torque. However, to protect the nine-speed automatic transmission, it is limited to 'only' 1,620Nm in the new model. Brabus quotes a 0-62mph time of 2.6 seconds for the 1000, which is about 0.2 seconds faster than the AMG model it's based on, and its top speed is electronically limited to 198mph. The 1000 also features a range of styling upgrades, most of which are made from carbon fibre. These include new splitters, spoilers and wings, while the grille also features new inserts on either side, plus there's a new set of staggered 21 and 22-inch wheels. There's no detail on any updates to the chassis, aside from a new height-adjustable suspension. How this works with AMG's hydraulically-interconnected dampers, if they are still fitted, remains to be seen. If, however, you're in the market for a high performance AMG model, make sure to check out Auto Express's online marketplace . Brabus has also been busy inside the car, reupholstering much of the cabin and replacing many of the existing trim pieces with either gloss carbon or red anodised aluminium. Ozzy Osbourne's funeral procession to pass through Birmingham city centre

Ozzy Osbourne's funeral cortege is to pass through his home city of Birmingham on Wednesday. The hearse will travel along Broad Street to Black Sabbath Bridge and the Black Sabbath bench – the sites of thousands of messages, floral tributes and vigils following the metal star's death last week at the age of 76 – at 1pm BST. Lord Mayor Zafar Iqbal said: 'It was important to the city that we support a fitting, dignified tribute ahead of a private family funeral. We know how much this moment will mean to his fans.' The Osbourne family has paid for the event and all associated costs, and Osbourne's wife Sharon and children Kelly and Jack – possibly among his other children – will follow the procession before the private funeral later in the day, the details of which have not been made public. The local brass band Bostin Brass will soundtrack the procession, with members of Black Sabbath and the musician Yungblud thought to be taking roles. Fans at home will be able to watch the procession via an ongoing live stream of the Sabbath bench. Fans from across the world – including the Canadian R&B megastar Drake, who was passing through the city on tour – have travelled to Birmingham to pay their respects to Osbourne. Iqbal said that he had been moved by accompanying fans in a line to sign a book of condolences, and that Osbourne had put 'Birmingham on the map. He put Aston on the map.' In June, Osbourne and Black Sabbath were given the Freedom of the City ahead of their Back to the Beginning gig, a mammoth, all-star show paying tribute to Osbourne as he and Black Sabbath gave their final live performance. The event raised more than £1m for local charities fundraising for children's causes and treatment of Parkinson's, which Osbourne was diagnosed with in 2003. Evoking David Bowie's death just days after the release of his final album, Blackstar, in 2016, Osbourne died 17 days after the performance, at home in Buckinghamshire. Thousands of fans are expected to attend the event: Birmingham council has encouraged mourners to turn up early, and roads will close from 7am. A book of condolences will remain open at the Birmingham Museum and Art gallery, where the exhibition Ozzy Osbourne (1948-2025): Working Class Hero remains open. In 2011, Osbourne told the Times what he hoped for from his funeral. He didn't care about the music, he said. 'But I want to make sure it's a celebration, not a mope-fest.'
