Temperatures in internal areas will range between 23°C and 49°C.
Light to moderate winds, freshening at times, causing blowing dust and sand westward, are expected, with a speed of 10–25, reaching 40 Km/hr.
Temperatures will hit a high of 42°C and a low of 30°C in Abu Dhabi, while the mercury may rise to 43°C and touch a low of 31°C in Dubai. In Sharjah, the temperature will range between 29°C minimum and 43°C maximum.
The sea will be moderate, becoming rough westward in the Arabian Gulf and slight in Oman Sea.

UAE weather: Red, yellow alerts issued for fog; temperatures to rise

Residents in the UAE can expect rainfall in some parts of the country on Friday, July 25, according to the forecast by the met department. The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) said in its bulletin that skies will be partly cloudy, with hazy conditions at times. There is a chance of convective cloud formation in the east, extending to some internal areas and potentially bringing rainfall, along with a rise in temperatures. Conditions are likely to get humid by night and Saturday morning over some western coastal areas with a probability of mist formation. There will be light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds, freshening at times during daytime, causing blowing dust, with a speed of 10kmph and 25kmph, reaching 40kmph. Authorities have issued a red and yellow alert for fog in the areas marked in the map below: The alert says that there will be "fog formation with a deterioration in horizontal visibility". The sea conditions will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea. Temperatures in Abu Dhabi are expected to witness a high of 43°C and a low of 32°C, while Dubai will see a high of 44°C and a low of 32°C. Sharjah will likely see a high of 44°C and a low of 31°C. Weather over the weekend The NCM also forecast unstable weather conditions across parts of country over the coming weekend, as an extension of surface and upper-air low pressure systems, coupled with the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ). The met department forecasts the formation of rainy clouds from Friday, July 25, to Monday, July 28, particularly over eastern, southern, and some inland areas. These clouds may bring moderate to heavy rain in some areas, along with possible thunder and strong winds. Experts say these patterns are expected to continue intermittently over the next few days — with a more active system forecast around July 25-26. Dr Ahmed Habib, a veteran meteorologist with the NCM, had earlier told the Khaleej Times that the recent weather activity is linked to a combination of atmospheric systems, including a low-pressure system moving in from the east, moisture-laden air from the Arabian Sea, and the northward shift of the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ).

Rain, hail, and thunder forecast in UAE due to shifting weather patterns

Cumulus clouds are expected to form, accompanied by rains of varying intensity between Friday and next Monday, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). The cumulus clouds may possibly be accompanied by small hailstones, lightning and thunder at times on some eastern, southern and inland areas. This is due to the region being affected during this period by the extension of the Tropical Convergence Zone, moving from the south towards the country, with surface and upper depressions advancing from the south, and moist air masses flowing from the Arabian Sea and the Sea of Oman towards the country. The rise in temperature during the day and the existence of the eastern mountains lead local cumulus clouds to form in the east and south. Moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds will blow, turning to active to strong and dust-stirring at times and causing the horizontal visibility to be lower. In its latest weather update from Friday, 25th July to Monday, 28th July, the NCM said, ''There is a chance of convective cloud formation accompanied by rainfall of varying intensity, possibly with small hailstones, lightning, and thunder at times, over some eastern and southern areas, extending to some internal regions.'' Winds will be Southeasterly to northeasterly, moderate in speed, becoming active to strong at times with the convective clouds, causing blowing dust and sand, leading to reduced horizontal visibility. Sea will be slightly rough in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

NCM: Rainfall expected in parts of UAE until July 28

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a weather alert, forecasting rainfall of varying intensity in parts of the UAE through Monday, 28 July. According to the NCM, convective clouds are expected to form over eastern and southern areas of the country, with chances of some areas experiencing hail, lightning and thunder. The weather is attributed to the influence of the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) moving northward, along with low-pressure systems and humid air masses from the Arabian Sea and the Sea of Oman. These conditions, combined with rising daytime temperatures and mountainous terrain, are increasing the likelihood of rainstorms. Winds are expected to be southeasterly to northeasterly, moderate to strong at times, particularly near convective clouds. Blowing dust and sand may reduce visibility in affected areas. The sea is expected to be slightly rough in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman, the NCM added. الحالة الجوية المتوقعة من الجمعة 25 إلى الإثنين 28 يوليو 2025 #حالة_جوية #حالة الطقس #الإمارات #المركز_الوطني_للأرصاد The expected weather from Friday, 25 to Monday, 28 July 2025 #WeatherCondition #Weather #UAE #NationalCenterOfMeteorology — المركز الوطني للأرصاد (@ncmuae) July 24, 2025
