Dino Morea Avoids Cameras, Visits EOW For Questioning In Mithi River Case
This is the second time that Dino Morea was questioned by the EOW in connection to the case.
Actor Dino Morea appeared before the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Mumbai Police for the second time. He was questioned by the officials in connection with the Mithi River scam. In a video that surfaced on social media, The Royals actor was seen arriving at the EOW office when he was snapped by the paparazzi. Dino sported a white shirt with blue jeans. However, he sported a cap and also added a face mask to seemingly avoid cameras.
This is the second time that Dino Morea was questioned by the EOW in connection to the case. He was previously summoned and quizzed by the authorities on May 26, too.

What Is The Mithi River Scam?
The Mithi River desilting scam involves alleged financial misconduct in renting silt pusher machines and dredging equipment by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). This ₹65 crore scam is under investigation by the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Mumbai Police. According to the EOW, contractors and BMC officials conspired to inflate equipment rental costs, resulting in a wrongful loss to the government and public. The investigation has led to the arrest of several individuals, including contractors and intermediaries.
How Is Dino Morea Linked To Mithi River Scam?
According to EOW sources and as quoted in the Free Press Journal, Dino Morea was called in for questioning after investigators found several phone calls between him, his brother Santino Morea, and key accused Ketan Kadam. The content and purpose of these calls are now being examined.
Dino Morea's Acting Career, Latest Projects
Dino Morea gained popularity in the late 1990s. He made his Bollywood debut with Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi in 1999, but his breakthrough came with the 2002 film Raaz, in which he starred with Bipasha Basu.
Dino Morea is currently seen in the Netflix web series, The Royals. The Royals premiered on the OTT platform earlier this month. Up next, Dino Morea will be seen in Housefull 5. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the film features a star-studded ensemble that includes Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Fardeen Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Chitrangda Singh, Ranjeet, Soundarya Sharma, and Nikitin Dheer. Saiyaara box office collection day 10: Ahaan Panday, Aneet Padda's film sees another jump on second Sunday as it eyes Chhaava record, crosses Rs 300 cr worldwide
A day after becoming the second highest grossing Hindi film of 2025, Mohit Suri's romantic drama Saiyaara has added another feather to its cap. The Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda-starrer has now crossed the Rs 300 crore mark worldwide after adding another Rs 30 crore to its domestic box office collection on the second Sunday. Saiyaara had already crossed Rs 280 crore worldwide on Saturday. Saiyaara India box office collection On its 10th day at the domestic box office, Saiyaara collected Rs 30 crore, yet another jump from its Saturday (day 9) collection of Rs 26.5 crore. The film breached the daily limit of Rs 20 crore on Saturday after two days of earning less than that. Besides day 10, Saiyaara managed to cross the Rs 30 crore mark in a day only last Sunday (day 3) when it earned Rs 35.75 crore, another major spike from its Saturday (day 2) earnings of Rs 26 crore. As per Sacnilk, the box office collection of Saiyaara in India now stands at Rs 247.25 crore. The film has already crossed the domestic box office collections of several superstar films like Akshay Kumar's Housefull 5 (Rs 198.41 crore), Ajay Devgn's Raid 2 (Rs 179.30 crore), and Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par (Rs 165.85 crore). Saiyaara is second biggest box office earner if 2025 Saiyaara's current domestic box office collection is only next to that of Laxman Utekar's period action film Chaava, starring Vicky Kaushal, which earned Rs 615.39 crore. It's a long way to go before Suri's film can even come close to that record. With fresh competition in Ajay Devgn's Son of Sardaar 2 and Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri-starrer Dhadak 2 coming in this Friday, the progress of Saiyaara is likely to slow down. Saiyaara marks the debut of Ahaan Panday, who's the first cousin of actor Ananya Panday and the nephew of Chunky Panday. It is also the first lead outing for Padda, who first made an impression in the Prime Video India series Big Girls Don't Cry last year. The film also stars actors Geeta Agarwal, Rajesh Kumar, Varun Badola and Shaad Randhawa in prominent roles. Produced by Aditya Chopra's Yash Raj Films, the official logline of the film reads, 'Passionate lovers navigate a rollercoaster romance, facing euphoric highs and crushing lows while desperately clinging to their tumultuous bond.'
