Perth Now28-05-2025
JoJo Siwa has finally confirmed her romance with Chris Hughes after weeks of speculation.
The 22-year-old dedicated a song to her Big Brother co-star during a live performance in London on Tuesday (local time).
During a cover performance of Kim Carnes' Bette Davis Eyes , the singer changed the lyrics to 'Chris Hughes' Eyes'.
After cheers and screams from her excited fans, she revealed to the crowd, 'If it's not obvious, that ending lyric is very much true.'
The Sun reported that Hughes was not there to witness the loved-up homage, but the Karma singer made it clear the Love Island star was all she was thinking about as she wore his signature orange beanie on stage.
She told the crowd: 'This morning I woke up and all I heard was (sings Nobody Can Change me) he was singing, so I figured today I'd bring a little bit of him while I sing this next song.'

'Since I was nine, I've gone through phases of my life where, at times, I have been one of the most hated people in the world,' she said.
'I'm not asking for sympathy, it's OK, but I've been hanging onto things that are out of my control.
'It was really really bad when I was 14. But, right now, personally and professionally I feel incredibly loved.
'And it just, nights like this, I don't cry that often, nights like this it just it really hit me, and I can be up here an sing my songs and commit to the bit, but I just want you to know inside my heart is smiling.
'And I feel like, I just feel so grateful because in my life right now, in rooms like this and at home I feel so loved and I feel so special.'
After the performance, it's believed that Siwa headed back to Hughes' house after fans saw this photo he shared on Snapchat.

Liam Neeson jokes sex scenes with Pamela Anderson were his favourite part of The Naked Gun

Liam Neeson has joked his favourite part of The Naked Gun was filming "the sex scenes" with Pamela Anderson. The 73-year-old actor stars as Frank Drebin Jr. opposite Anderson as nightclub singer Beth in the upcoming comedy reboot, and Neeson has now teased he particularly enjoyed shooting their love scenes, which were made with the help of an intimacy coordinator. The Sun newspaper reports Liam joked the best bit of the shoot was "the sex scenes", and he added of the intimacy coordinator: "I'd never had one before. "But she was in the background. There was no kind of: 'Ok! Excuse me!'" The publication goes on to report Liam claimed the intimacy coordinator threw her hands in the air and exclaimed: "I can't take this! This is too hot for me. I'm going for coffee." In The Naked Gun - which is a new take on the original Leslie Nielsen 1988 comedy movie - Detective Frank Drebin Jr. (Neeson) takes on his first big case, determined to solve a high-profile murder and save the police department from closure. Following in his father's hilariously clumsy footsteps, he stumbles through outrageous situations while trying to solve the mystery. Neeson recently said he didn't want to 'emulate' Nielsen in the new film, which was directed by Akiva Schaffer and hits screens on 1 August. He told Empire magazine: 'I wouldn't say nerve-wracking, but every day I would go up to Akiva after we wrapped and say, 'How was it?' Because I just didn't know. 'I did not want to emulate the wonderful Leslie Nielsen, but the only thing I grabbed from him, was, 'Be serious. Don't try to be funny. Just stick to being a serious cop who is a bit of a doofus.'' The Taken actor also admitted he wasn't sure if he was funny enough for The Naked Gun - which also stars Paul Walter Hauser and Danny Huston. Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Neeson said: 'During the whole shoot - I'm being very honest - I still did not know, when we wrapped at the end of each working day, whether it was working for me. 'Pamela, Paul, Danny, everybody else, I thought, were very funny. I just couldn't put a verdict on myself, on my own performance. 'I'd always ask Akiva, 'Are you sure it's working?' That continued from day one till we finished.''

Charli XCX wedding reception 'featured only 20 guests'

Charli XCX's wedding reception is said to have featured only 20 guests and $A16 martinis. The 32-year-old singer, whose real name is Charlotte Aitchison, got hitched to The 1975 drummer George Daniel, 34, in a private ceremony at Hackney Town Hall, east London, on the weekend. After tying the knot, the couple reportedly headed to an Italian restaurant and hosted a party at a local bar. A source told The Sun the couple invited about 20 guests for what was described as a "very cool" and intimate day - a contrast to the larger celebration they are planning in Sicily later in 2025. After exchanging vows in Hackney, Charli and Daniel walked to the nearby Italian restaurant Dalla for a private dinner. "Charli's wedding reception was the epitome of Brat. Her and George wanted to keep it very cool, so they shunned cars and walked down Hackney High Street to get to Dalla," an insider told The Sun. "The restaurant had closed for them and they had a massive family-style meal with loads of pasta and champagne. "People walking past were stunned when they saw Charli and George having a cheeky pre-dinner cigarette outside. "Charli and George then went to a nearby hotel to get changed before they went to Ellie's for a party." The reception continued at Ellie's, a bar in Dalston that opened in May and is becoming known as one of the capital's trendiest spots. Ellie's is known for its STG8 ($A16.50) martinis. Charli reportedly changed out of her STG3300 ($A6800) Vivienne Westwood Nova Cora mini dress into a second white outfit in case of any drink spills. "To get in you just had to walk up to the front and say 'Charli'," the source said. "Once inside, Charli and George had laid on a free bar and there were trays of cigarettes lying around for the smokers. "There was a 'no social media' policy so no one posted any of the pictures from the reception online. It went on until around 4am when everyone crashed out and went home." Earlier in July, it was reported Charli and Daniel had chosen Sicily as the location for their second, larger wedding later in 2025. "This was the formal wedding and the big event is happening in a few months. "Charli and George had the most perfect day in London," The Sun source said. "It was everything they wanted it to be - relaxed, informal and fun." Charli XCX's wedding reception is said to have featured only 20 guests and $A16 martinis. Charli XCX shares glimpse of wild wedding after-party

Charli XCX has shared a glimpse into her wild wedding after-party. The 32-year-old singer married the 1975's drummer George Daniel, 35, on Saturday (19.07.25) in east London, joined by close friends and family members, including his bandmates Adam Hann and Ross MacDonald. She haw now given fans a look at the bash that followed in a video she posted on TikTok, featuring her in a white dress and her new husband topless in one moment from the footage. In her caption alongside the footage, she joked: 'When George isn't crying when he sees me walking down the aisle', before adding: 'Luckily did'. Later in the night of her wedding, Charli changed into a second outfit — a £3,300 Nova Cora white dress — for a party with pals at Ellie's bar in Dalston. She and George exchanged vows in a low-key ceremony before making their way down Hackney High Street to Italian restaurant Dalla. According to The Sun, the venue was closed exclusively for the wedding party and there were only around 20 guests. Charli's party pals dined alfresco on pasta and champagne, and were seen smoking outside ahead of the meal. A source told The Sun: 'Charli and George wanted to keep it very cool, so they shunned cars and walked down Hackney High Street to get to Dalla.' Charli's wedding band, which complements her classic solitaire engagement ring, also attracted attention. Jewellery expert Laura Taylor of Lorel Diamonds told MailOnline: 'Charli's wedding band is where she's really made it her own... it's chunky and very different to the delicate bands you usually see paired with solitaires.' She valued the piece between £8,000 and £10,000. Charli's parents, Jon and Shameera Aitchison, were photographed posing with the newlyweds during their nuptials, to which George wore a dark double-breasted suit with a pale open-collared shirt and a boutonnière matching Charli's bouquet. News of the pair's engagement first emerged in 2023, with The Sun reporting George had proposed. In February 2024, sources said the couple had travelled to Italy to scout locations for their main celebration. Earlier this month, it was reported Charli and George had chosen Sicily as the location for their second, larger wedding later this year. A source told The Sun: 'This was the formal wedding and the big event is happening in a few months. 'Charli and George had the most perfect day in London. It was everything they wanted it to be — relaxed, informal and fun.'
