Sizwe Dhlomo snubs Lasizwe's 'Awkward Dates' invite
Radio personality Sizwe Dhlomo sparked mixed reactions after declining Lasizwe's invite to appear on his Awkward Dates YouTube show.
Lasizwe took a chance and invited Sizwe after a fan expressed interest in seeing him on the show.
Turning Lasizwe down, the Kaya FM presenter said he does not do interviews.
He added: 'Good show though. If ever I have something to promote one day, I'll hit you up. Keep up the good work.'
Sizwe instead suggested that Lasizwe come to his workplace to shadow him for a week.
'Don't bring cameras, but you can shadow me for a full week. I'll give you a breakdown of how to move in the game. That's if you'll find that kind of info useful. Your choice,' Sizwe tweeted.
Sizwe's suggestion did not sit well with some netizens, who found it condescending and arrogant.
Others, however, said this would be a great opportunity for Lasizwe. Here are a few reactions from X:

Lasizwe manifesting his dream guests
A few days ago, Lasizwe took to social media to celebrate after securing one of his dream guests for Awkward Dates, asking fans to guess who it was.
While many speculated that it might be media personality Bonang Matheba, he later revealed it was former Miss South Africa and Miss Universe 2019, Zozibini Tunzi.
Lasizwe had previously shared on Instagram that he is manifesting to have Bonang, Tyla, Zozi, Uncle Waffles, and actor Thembinkosi Mthembu as guests on his show.

He recently earned a law degree from the University of South Africa (UNISA), following in the footsteps of his father, Dali Mpofu, who is a prominent South African advocate and legal professional. Taking to Instagram over the weekend, Dr Sizwe said completing his undergraduate law degree was one of the most demanding yet rewarding chapters of his life. 'I never planned to study law. Everyone thought I would because of my father, so I rebelled. But during the pandemic, while working on my second book, I found myself drawn into constitutional debates and discovered the quiet power of the law. I couldn't look away anymore,' he wrote. He added that transitioning from holding a doctorate in international relations to starting again as a law student was a humbling experience. One that got away? Khaya Mthethwa on 'losing great people'
Former Idols South Africa winner turned preacher Khaya Mthethwa has spoken about losing 'great people' as well as his 'painful' divorce from ex-wife, Ntando Kunene. The former Miss South Africa has reportedly married again this weekend. She is also expecting a baby from her current, unidentified partner. In 2019, Khaya and Ntando split after less than two years of marriage. Before dating the beauty queen, Khaya reportedly dated actresses Jessica Nkosi and Nomzamo Mbatha, at the same time! Unlike his ex, Ntando Kunene, Khaya Mthethwa has made it clear he has no intention to marry again. The former Idols SA singer, who is now a preacher at the Oasis Church in Umlazi, KwaZulu-Natal, told the congregation in a clip that has gone viral: 'The marriage train has left. I've lost too many great people. Now I'm attracting rubbish'. Since his split from Ntando, Khaya was rumoured to have dated Instagram influencers, Mathapelo Khoza and Siphosethu Nkosi, in recent months. Speaking in an interview in May, Khaya Mthethwa touched on his bitter divorce from Ntando Kunene. He told Podcast, Radio & Stuff: 'I think that it is the most painful thing I have ever gone through in my life. I don't wish divorce on anyone. In fact, I will never divorce again. In December 2017, Khaya Mthethwa married former Miss SA Ntando Kunene. At the time, the couple had dated for just three months. Two years later, the couple – who welcomed a son, Oyinkosi – announced their shock split in a vague statement. According to Khaya, the new marriage was fraught with 'challenges' that the couple could not overcome. While neither Ntando nor Khaya has ever mentioned those challenges, the latter has been accused of being unfaithful in the past. Last year, a clip of Khaya Mthethwa claiming he 'told God' he 'knew' he didn't want to be married, just a few months after his wedding, went viral. The clip was allegedly taken from Khaya's sermon at the Assemblies of God Church in Sandton. He said in the clip: 'When I said to God, I don't think I want to be married anymore.
