Broadcaster MaBlerh was announced as the host of this year's The Real Housewives of Durban reunion for the third year in a row. 'This year, I'm making sure that no stone is left unturned,' MaBlerh said. The reunion is from the fifth season of the popular reality show, which broke the internet and became the number-one trending topic in South Africa, with several cast members sitting atop the trend list. MaBlerh says he's been closely tracking viewers' tweets and comments, and plans to bring their questions and concerns to the reunion. 'I'm there to represent the viewers. I've seen the tweets, I've read the comments and concerns – and trust me, everything will be addressed,' he shared. 'People have been asking the same questions week after week. I hear them. And I'm going to ask those same questions in that reunion chair.' Real name Mthokozisi Cele, MaBlerh is the first African to host multiple reunions in The Real Housewives franchise, including The Real Housewives of Gqeberha (Season 1) and The Real Housewives of Johannesburg (Season 3). 'Being back for the third time is an honour I don't take lightly. It's a big job that requires sensitivity, because these ladies are opening up and sharing their lives with us, so some of the topics are deeply personal.' ALSO READ: 'I'd love to see them find common ground' — The Mommy Club reunion host Ntombee Ngcobo-Mzolo Accountability The Kaya FM on-air personality said he would prioritise accountability and not push for dramatic scenes in the reunion. 'Accountability is key. This is not just about drama for the sake of entertainment, it's about honesty, clarity, and sometimes even healing.' 'Everyone needs to be held accountable for what they've said and done, so we can reach real resolution.' The Season 5 finale of The Real Housewives of Durban dropped on 13 June 2025. After an eventful and dramatic season, the ladies had their final dinner during their trip to Mauritius, where they sat down and addressed some of the unresolved tensions between them. The dinner took a turn when someone handed Nonku an anonymous letter, prompting her to leave the table, which left viewers with plenty of unanswered questions. The contents of the letter have not been revealed, and fans have been speculating ever since about who wrote it and what their intentions were. The fallout was immediate, and tensions escalated as the episode came to a close, setting the stage for a reunion that promises to deliver serious confrontation and, hopefully, some closure. 'The show has a lot of loyal viewers, and I intend to step in and represent all of their views. They have burning questions that need answers,' said MaBlerh. Stasie Kombuis owner reacts to drunk Presley Chweneyagae clips
Stasie Kombuis owner, Thato Jele, has shut down social media commentary about his lifestyle lounge being a bad influence on the late actor Presley Chweneyagae. The 40-year-old was laid to rest last weekend after a shock death following 'respiratory complications'. At his funeral, close pal Warren Masemola hinted that Presley loved partying and alcohol and would often surround himself with 'bad friends'. He also implied that establishments like Stasie Kombuis kept the star away from his family. Speaking to Kaya FM, Stasie Kombuis, owner Thato Jele, responded to commentary that his lifestyle lounge and bar was a bad influence on Presley Chweneyagae. He said, 'Presley was a beautiful human being, he loved my place. He personally told me that I was on the right track and that I was running a beautiful place.' Jele also addressed several video clips of an intoxicated Presley Chweneyagae at a groove, which South Africans have presumed to be at Stasie Kombuis. He continued: 'We are very big on family. We do not embarrass our clients. None of the videos that are trending online were taken at my place. 'My place is not a shebeen or a drinking spot. It's home to me and to my clients. That's why people keep coming back. A clip of Presley Chweneyagae intoxicated at a groove has resurfaced after his death. Images via X During his tribute to Presley Chweneyagae, fellow actor Warren Masemola claimed the pair often quarrelled about prioritising family over bad friends. He said at the star's funeral last weekend: 'My friend and I fought a lot. I don't understand people who don't fight with their friends and the people they love. Warren hinted at Presley Chweneyagae's love of partying and booze. He recalled a time when he travelled to Pretoria to pick up Presley – presumably at the request of his wife – as 'he was being a nuisance' He told funeral-goers: 'He dodged me, I found him at Stasie Kombuis [popular groove in Pretoria].' Warren added that he found Presley with a group of friends who didn't have his best interests at heart. He added: 'You owe it to yourself to talk to the one you love and say, 'Please, you have children at home. Go home. Your family needs you.' Black Coffee and model bae celebrate fifth anniversary
Black Coffee – real name Nkosinathi Maphumulo – and his girlfriend Victoria Gonzalez are celebrating their fifth anniversary as a couple. The DJ and the Venezuelan model first began dating in 2019, the same year he divorced his wife, Enhle Mbali. Despite previously keeping their relationship private, Black Coffee and Victoria Gonzaléz have now opted to go public about their romance. This includes posts on their vacations around the world, bonding with family and friends, and publicly praising each other on their Instagram accounts. This week, the couple posted images of their five-year anniversary on their Instagram Stories. In the pics, taken in 2019 and again in 2025, Black Coffee and Victoria posed on the streets of Milan, where they hugged and kissed each other. In 2019, Black Coffee and Enhle Mbali announced their official separation after tying the knot in a traditional wedding ceremony in 2011. They share two sons, Anesu and Asante. What followed was a bitter split that involved plenty of dirty laundry. Enhle – an actress – accused the DJ of physical, verbal, and financial abuse during and after their relationship. She also accused her ex of tapping her phone. A year ago, Black Coffee told Kaya FM that he hoped to remarry one day. He said, 'I modeled marriage my own way. Because of my parents' failing in marriage, and then not being raised by either of them 'You want to be the driver of this thing…you forget there is someone next to you'. He continued: 'There are things we wish for people, and there's things they wish for themselves. And we make the mistake of imposing our wishes on them. 'I want to try marriage again just to understand it.' Let us know by leaving a comment below, or send a WhatsApp to 060 011 021 1 .
