Renowned author Ayaan Hirsi urges Trump to ‘rise to the occasion' and end threat Iran poses to the world
The Somali-born former refugee told Sky News Peta Credlin on Tuesday she hopes Mr Trump can 'rise to the occasion' with Mr Netanyahu and end the Iranian regime.
After the hours-long ceasefire between Iran and Israel crumbled following bombs exploding in Israel, Ms Ali stressed that the US President cannot feel like the job was done after one strike.
'I hope that Donald Trump and Bibi Netanyahu, that they rise to the occasion and that they don't stop at this moment where we say, 'oh, we've destroyed the facilities, and so now we can move on',' she said.
'We can't move on, they're going to regroup, they are going to use terrorism in the region and beyond. And they're determined to build this bomb. Even if it takes them another 10 decades, they're absolutely determined.
'And that is why they have to be completely removed. And so, the people of Iran want to do it. We just need to help the people instead of throwing the Ayatollah lifeline.'
The renowned author said the Iran regime is committed to changing society, the region and then the 'whole world', hence why it's important the nation does not have nuclear weapons.
'So the reason why it's really important, in my view, to bring this particular regime down is because it's explicitly committed to exporting the Islamic Revolution beyond Iran's borders,' she said.
'And it explicitly says in their constitution that they have to use subversion, terrorism, civil wars, proselytization, and other means, and these other means that is this development of a nuclear bomb. And they regard America as the great Satan and Israel as the little Satan.'
Ms Ali encouraged the US President to help the Iranians hoping for a regime change, citing the differences between Iran and other countries that went through tumultuous regime change.
'They're desperate for change, they just need a little bit of help from us,' Ms Hirsi Ali said.
'Iran is different from Libya and Syria ... And the people of Iran who reject this regime ... they want to rid themselves of this.
'And all we need to do is help them.'

States are required to redistrict every 10 years based on the US Census but the Texas map was passed just four years ago by the Republican-dominated legislature. While mid-cycle redistricting occasionally takes place, it is usually prompted by a change in power at the legislature. Republicans have pursued redistricting in a special legislative session that will also address funding for flood prevention after the deadly July 4 flash flooding that killed more than 130. Under the current lines, Republicans control 25 seats, nearly two-thirds of the districts in a state that went for Trump last year by a 56 per cent to 42 per cent margin. Redistricting experts have said the plan could backfire if Republicans try to squeeze too many seats out of what is already considered a significantly skewed map.

Labor Minister confirms Anthony Albanese attempting to make contact with Benjamin Netanyahu after massive pro-Palestine march
Shadow Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade Matt Thistlewaite has said Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is chasing a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The Prime Minister is considering a potential shift in foreign policy, following in the footsteps of the UK, France, and Canada, with September's UN General Assembly a possible timeframe for Australia to formally recognise a Palestinian state. Mr Thistlewaite told Sky News the PM was seeking to urgently make contact with Mr Netanyahu to convey the Australian government's position on the ongoing conflict in Gaza. 'A phone call is being pursued,' Mr Thistlewaite told Sky News on Monday. 'Anthony Albanese is willing to speak with Benjamin Netanyahu to make sure the views of the Australian government and the Australian people are clear to the Israeli government. Despite Mr Netanyahu publicly hitting out at the Australian government's for its handling of the antisemitism crisis sweeping the nation Mr Thistlewaite defended the government's position and said it was considering implementing a wide host of recommendations made by antisemitism special envoy Jillian Segal. 'We have certainly acted to combat antisemitism here in Australia and have taken a number of measures including commissioning Jillian Segal's report, and we are working through those recommendations," Mr Thistlethwaite said. The Prime Minister confirmed he was chasing a phone call with Mr Netanyahu on Monday. Mr Albanese told reporters his Israeli counterpart had acted inconsistent with a "two state solution" reiterating his government had been "critical of some of the actions of Israel in particular". "My message would be the same privately as it has been in the past as the public message and privately I said to Prime Minister Netanyahu before as I have said publicly for a long period of time that I am a supporter of a two state solution and there cannot be peace and security in the Middle East without there being an advance on the two state solution," Mr Albanese said. On Monday the federal government pledged an extra $20 million in aid to Gaza, and urged the Israeli government to allow 'unimpeded' access for the humanitarian materials to enter the war torn strip. The additional funding is aimed at supporting organisations that have 'the scale and capacity to respond quickly to deliver food, medical supplies for field hospitals and other lifesaving support to women and children in Gaza". 'This $20 million is going to organisations to provide food relief, medical supplies and field hospitals, shared evenly across the Red Cross, UNICEF, the UN world food program and Jordanian Hashmemite charity,' Mr Thistlethwaite said. He said that the United Nations embattled Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees was not among the organisations receiving aid from the government. Mr Thistlethwaite also condemned images of people displaying photos of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei at the pro-Palestine protests over the weekend and labelled it 'provocative.' The Assistant Minister said the release of a video by Hamas of an Israeli hostage digging his own grave in Gaza's vast underground tunnel network was 'sickening' and reiterated that the terrorist group could not be involved in the future governance of a Palestinian state. 'It's sickening and it's shocking, and I think that's the reason why we haven't declared a Palestinian statehood because we believe Hamas cannot be involved in the management of a Palestinian state, this is a terrorist organisation and that showed true in that sickening video that was posted on the weekend," he said. 'That's why we have said Hamas cannot be involved; we want to see two states existing side by side in peace but if you are going to get a lasting peace you can't have an organisation like that involved.'

Sordid details exposed about ‘king of kink' Prince Andrew
Prince Andrew's already tarnished image is about to take another severe battering with the release of a new biography that sensationally details damning new allegations about his unsavoury behaviour. From talking about 'p***y' with Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein, to insulting royal staff and asking guests if they are wearing knickers, the book paints a very unflattering picture of the King's younger brother. It also explores the concern of intelligence agencies that Russia has 'kompromat' or blackmail on Andrew over the Epstein scandal. Andrew, who was given the nickname of 'Randy Andy' while at school, has become a royal pariah over his friendship with the late sex offender. He was forced to step down from a roving UK trade ambassador role in 2011, before quitting all royal duties in 2019 and then being stripped of his military links and royal patronages in 2022 amid allegations of sexual misconduct. Before her death by suicide, Australian Virginia Giuffre accused Andrew of sexually assaulting her when she was 17. The Duke, who repeatedly denied the claims, paid her an estimated £7.3million ($15 million) in an out-of-court settlement in February 2022 without accepting any liability. The book, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York by Andrew Lownie that is being serialised by the Mail, has already garnered global headlines with its claim that Prince Harry got into a physical fight with Andrew. He writes that the now US president handed Andrew a list of masseuses after the pair spoke about 'p***y'. The book, which the royal family tried to have banned, also recounts alleged remarks from Epstein, calling Andrew a fellow 'serial sex addict'. 'He's the only person I have met who is more obsessed with p***y than me. 'From the reports I've got back from the women we've shared, he [Prince Andrew] is the most perverted animal in the bedroom. During a exchange about a storm at Hillborough Castle in Northern Ireland, Andrew asked head of the household David Anderson if there had been any damage. Anderson replied there had, to 'the tree which was planted by the Queen Mother'. Andrew then mocked the staffer, asking 'Did you mean Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother?'' and enquiring how long he had been working for the royal family. 'And you still don't know the proper way to refer to my grandmother? You f***ing imbecile. Get out.' In the book, Lownie details Andrew's allegedly bizarre behaviour at parties where he loved to play 'choo-choo trains' in which party-goers would make a conga line and make train noises. He was also dubbed a 'nightmare to sit next to' with one friend quoted as saying, 'He makes ghastly jokes about whether you're wearing knickers. And you can't tell him to sod off'. Another woman told Lownie: 'One minute you're having your bum pinched and the next minute he's reminding you he's Your Royal Highness'. Of the altercation between Prince Andrew and Prince Harry, the book says it was triggered by something 'Andrew said behind Harry's back'. Lownie claims that Andrew, behind closed doors, voiced scepticism about Harry's relationship with actress Meghan Markle, allegedly calling her an 'opportunist' and predicting that the marriage wouldn't last. But Harry was quick to shut down those claims over the weekend. In a rare move, his spokesperson issued a statement to say 'I can confirm neither of those things are true'. 'Prince Harry and Prince Andrew have never had a physical fight, nor did Prince Andrew ever make those comments about the Duchess of Sussex to Prince Harry.'
