Meet KeAndre Lambert-Smith, the Chargers Hall of Fame Game breakout with an NFL uncle
Lambert-Smith scored a really nice touchdown during the preseason game for Los Angeles to go along with a beautiful catch from a quarterback Trey Lance pass in the first half.
If you're unfamiliar with who Lambert-Smith is, he was a fifth-round pick by Los Angeles in the 2025 NFL Draft out of Auburn. He played at Penn State from 2020-2023 before transferring to Auburn for his last college season.
His uncle actually played in the NFL, and you've absolutely heard of him. Lambert-Smith is former Settle Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor's nephew. Talk about a football factoid to make you feel old!
According to The Athletic's Robert Mays, the Chargers are quite high on the rookie receiver.
Chargers fans will want to keep an eye out for Lambert-Smith throughout the rest of the preseason.

New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson was asked about his Madden NFL 26 rating, as the popular video game is set to come out this month. Madden ratings get adjusted over the season, so it would not be surprising to see Henderson's overall rating increase by the midpoint of the year. Watch Rams WR Puka Nacua surprise NFL rookies with message and signed jersey
Every NFL rookie has players they watched growing up — either right before they entered the league or throughout their childhood. These stars helped shaped who they became as players, and some will even be peers now. Some of the league's current and legendary stars gave to those rookies in an awesome "welcome to the league" video from Fanatics, where NFL rookies were surprised with a message and a signed jersey. Los Angeles Rams receiver Puka Nacua was a featured player who sent a message to some of the top first-round receivers like the Carolina Panthers' Tetairoa McMillan and the Green Bay Packers' Matthew Golden. Other NFL legends were also featured. Take a watch: It's a bit odd to see Nacua featured in a video that includes legendary players like Tom Brady and Hall of Famers like Peyton Manning, but his meteoric rise after just two seasons is also a testament to how quickly a young player can ascend to the top of his craft. Nacua was just a fifth-round pick before he broke out as a rookie and set NFL records. It's funny, too, that Nacua sent a message to McMillan after the Rams reportedly tried to trade up for the ex-Arizona receiver. This is a moment all the rookies will remember when they start their NFL careers. Perhaps McMillan will wear his signed Nacua jersey when the Rams face the Panthers in Charlotte in Week 13.

Terron Armstead lists 8 Dolphins who impressed him most at training camp
Former Miami Dolphins offensive tackle Terron Armstead retired earlier this year after his 12th NFL season, but he hasn't stayed far from the team's facility in South Florida. The five-time Pro Bowler has made a few appearances at the team's training camp and he offered his thoughts on his podcast Monday. Armstead listed eight players who stood out to him most during his time spent at Miami's camp practices. According to the former Dolphins left tackle, the following players were putting together impressive showings. In 2025, the Dolphins will be relying on several young players who are tasked with replacing established veterans. Paul is stepping in to Armstead's shoes, Duck is shouldering the burden of replacing Jalen Ramsey, and Grant will take over on a defensive line that lost Christian Wilkins and Calais Campbell in the last two offseasons. If Armstead's praise reflects growth that shows up on the field in September and beyond, the Dolphins could be in good shape in the upcoming season.
