Sky launches offer on Samsung Galaxy mobile and it comes with £259 worth of freebies

The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is now available for £23 a month - but you'll need to be quick if you want to snap up the deal, as it ends on March 24, 2025
Samsung fans can now spread the cost of a new handset, with the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE available for a monthly fee of £23 at Sky, complete with freebies totalling £259. The network provider's offer includes £100 cashback scheme and a complimentary pair of Galaxy Buds3 worth £159.
This deal is part of Samsung's cashback promotion, where the £100 cashback is valid until 24 June 2025. The free Buds3 offer ends the following day on 25 June 2025.
It's available to shoppers in a choice of mint, blue, graphite, or yellow. And when it comes to storage, it starts at the same as the standard S24, with a 128GB.
The Samsung S24 FE has 'Photo Assist', an AI-led functionality proposing instant photo improvements. Not forgetting 'Generative Edit' for image alterations such as moving, deleting, or altering the size of objects, reports the Mirror.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE has a 6.7-inch screen, coupled with a versatile triple camera setup at the back. It can also withstand IP68 water and dust resistance.
On the phone's camera, tech journalist Chris Hall said: "When it comes to the cameras, you have a 50-megapixel main camera. "This has an ultrawide and telephoto lens on the back with 3x optical zoom.
"That's the complete package, and while it's not as good as a flagship phone, you're well catered for. "The day-to-day experience is much the same, with the same One UI software and Galaxy AI features." Other retailers are offering freebies and competitive pricing.
At Amazon, buyers can purchase the phone outright for £598. They will also get a complimentary Galaxy Watch 7 and cashback.
The Samsung official website has the phone priced at £649 without any additional offers. Reviewing the Samsung S24 FE's overall performance, Chris continued: "The great thing about the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is that you get an experience that's really close to the Galaxy S24+."
He notes that although the S24 FE is heavier and slightly larger, with a lower display resolution it boasts the same size AMOLED display as the S24+. However, there are some drawbacks.
He said: "It's not quite as powerful and the battery is a little smaller, but it's more affordable, and that's the point."
Meanwhile, GiffGaff offers various monthly contracts for the S24 FE starting from £18.03 for a 36-month contract, with an upfront fee of £20.

Savvy dog owner swaps supermarket dog food to save over £200

Beth said the decision to change to a food subscription didn't come easy but now her and her two rescue Staffie crosses love it As a dedicated owner of two rescue Staffie crosses, Phoebe and Frank, devoted dog mum Beth knows that keeping them well fed is her number on priority. Recently faced with a difficult choice, Beth made a tough decision that turned out to be one of her best yet. Already concerned that the price of their regular dog food was gradually rising, Beth saw that Phoebe, the pickier eater, was starting showing less interest in her meals. She said: "After comparing various brands based on cost, nutritional value and customer feedback, we finally decided to change their diet, opting for a subscription of Forthglade's Lightly Baked Lamb Kibble, which has been a blessing for several reasons." The dry food subscription offers options of 2kg, 6kg, 12kg, and 18kg bags. Although prices vary depending on the flavour, the lamb variety starts at £12.59, reduced from £13.99. Beth explained: "We opt for the 12kg option as it lasts us exactly four weeks. If you have a smaller dog, the same 12kg could last significantly longer - potentially eight to 12 weeks depending on size, resulting in additional savings," according to the Mirror. Every month, two 6kg bags of nutritionally balanced kibble are delivered directly to her house with free next-day delivery. Happy with the service, Beth added: "I particularly value the convenience of receiving two 6kg bags instead of a single 12kg bag, as it's easier to manage and helps keep the food fresh." The subscription is set at £62.99, a markdown from the usual £69.99, already offering savings as Beth claims that her previous food expenditure was £80 per month. In total, she is saving around £17 each month, which amounts to saving over £200 annually, and that's before taking into account the exclusive subscriber perks. Speaking of more reasons to switch to Forthglade, Beth explained: "I bagged a significant discount on my initial order, shelling out less than £50 for the first month. Subsequently, with each renewal of our subscription, we've racked up 'rewards', and currently have roughly £8 in our account that we can choose to subtract from a future order. "I could opt to make one month slightly cheaper, or hoard my credits until I have enough for a 'free' bag." Forthglade isn't the only brand providing subscription services for their food. Elsewhere, Marleybones is offering new customers 30% off their trial selection boxes, while Butternut Box is offering 25% off the first two boxes for owners in similar subscription schemes. Beth said: "One feature I particularly appreciate about the Forthglade subscription is its adaptability. We're due to go on holiday soon and our order would have arrived whilst we were away, so we simply delayed our delivery by two weeks with a few clicks. "No phone calls, no fuss, just a straightforward online adjustment. Even better, it was dispatched three hours later and arrived the following afternoon, with next day delivery included as standard." Seeking even more convenience, Beth decided to tweak her subscription slightly because her orders were always placed on a Saturday, resulting in Monday deliveries. Since making the change, her deliveries now arrive on Thursdays, which is much more convenient for her household. She added: "The service is remarkably flexible, allowing us to easily skip, pause, or delay orders. Forthglade also sends reminders before dispatching orders, and with no contract to tie us down, we can cancel at any time if needed. "But what really matters is whether Phoebe and Frank enjoy their meals, and I'm delighted to report they've been wolfing down their food - the lamb variety has become a firm favourite after years of eating chicken kibble." Other pet owners on Trustpilot share the enthusiasm, with Forthglade boasting a 4.6-star rating. One reviewer said: "The website is helpful for allowing you to make choices. Customer services are responsive and address any issues directly with you - a real person not a Bot. Food is delivered quickly, well packaged. Most importantly I don't think in the three months we have had our pup, I have wasted a single ounce of dried food as she dives on it every day." A fellow satisfied customer wrote: "I have just changed my subscription with Forthglade and it was so easy to do," shared another satisfied customer. "It's so far so good as my boys are now on the Senior dog wet food. The delivery is always so prompt. Keep up the good work." However, some customers expressed a desire for more variety. One pet owner stated: "I have been getting the Salmon/Sardine multipack on subscription for a few months now and my dog loves it. Easy to change delivery days with subscription and never worry about running out. Great for my dogs allergies who can only have fish but wish the multipack had more than 2 flavours for more variety. Another customer penned: "Subscription order came on time, notification was received of when payment was taken, my 3 little dogs are very happy that Mum didn't run out of their chew sticks," adding, "It's one less thing to think about when doing my shopping." Beth added: "In the past, I used to place orders manually, but the Forthglade subscription has truly been a blessing, eliminating one task from my life admin to-do list. The next day delivery is convenient, and the perks are a real bonus. "Plus, I've frequently ordered their treats and wet food from there too, so now everything arrives simultaneously." She concluded: "One crucial aspect for me was ensuring we weren't compromising quality for convenience - Forthglade remains a premium brand, but they simply know how to cater to their customers. It's one of the easiest, smartest switches we've made, and my only regret is not doing it sooner."

Samsung Z Fold 7: Which Color Will YOU Choose?

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 has officially launched, offering a seamless blend of advanced technology and refined design while maintaining the same $1,900 starting price as its predecessor, the Z Fold 6. With notable improvements in display, performance, and usability, this foldable smartphone continues to stand out as a leader in the premium device market. By addressing user feedback and enhancing key features, Samsung has ensured the Galaxy Z Fold 7 remains a top choice for those seeking innovative technology. The video below from sakitech gives us more details about the upcoming handset. Watch this video on YouTube. Design and Display: Bigger, Better, and More Functional The Galaxy Z Fold 7 introduces a larger and wider outer display, significantly improving its practicality for everyday tasks such as messaging, browsing, and quick interactions when the device is folded. This enhancement addresses a common concern among users, making the outer screen more functional and user-friendly. When unfolded, the inner display now features a punch-hole selfie camera, replacing the under-display camera from the Z Fold 6. This change not only enhances image quality for selfies and video calls but also preserves the immersive viewing experience that users expect from a foldable device. The device is available in three matte finish colors—Blue Shadow, Jet Black, and Silver Shadow—each designed to provide a sleek, modern aesthetic while resisting fingerprint smudges. This ensures the phone maintains its premium look over time, even with regular use. For those seeking a more personalized touch, Samsung may offer exclusive color options through its website, catering to users who value customization and individuality. Performance Enhancements: Speed and Efficiency Redefined The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is powered by an upgraded processor, delivering faster performance and improved energy efficiency. These enhancements result in smoother multitasking, quicker app launches, and a more responsive experience across various activities, whether you're working, gaming, or streaming. The improved processor ensures that the device can handle demanding tasks with ease, making it a reliable companion for both productivity and entertainment. The camera system has also seen significant upgrades, with sharper images, better low-light performance, and overall improved photography capabilities. The addition of the punch-hole selfie camera further improves the device's imaging quality, making it ideal for capturing moments or engaging in high-quality video calls. Despite these advancements, the Z Fold 7 features a thinner and more refined design, enhancing its portability and making it easier to handle compared to its predecessor. Pricing and Storage Options: Premium Features, Same Price Samsung has retained the $1,900 starting price of the Z Fold 6, making the Z Fold 7 an attractive option for those seeking innovative features without an increased cost. This pricing strategy underscores Samsung's commitment to delivering value while maintaining its position as a leader in the foldable smartphone market. The device is available in three storage options—256GB, 512GB, and 1TB—providing flexibility to match your storage needs and budget. Whether you require ample space for apps, photos, and videos or prefer a more modest storage option, the Z Fold 7 offers a solution for every user. For those exploring alternatives, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 is available at a lower starting price of $1,000. While it offers a different take on foldable design with its compact clamshell form factor, it provides another option for users interested in Samsung's innovative foldable lineup. Exclusive Features and Enhanced Personalization Samsung continues to differentiate its foldable devices with exclusive features and customization options. The standard color palette of Blue Shadow, Jet Black, and Silver Shadow is already appealing, but potential exclusive colors available through Samsung's website add an extra layer of personalization for discerning buyers. This focus on customization ensures that users can select a device that reflects their unique style and preferences. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 represents a thoughtful evolution in foldable technology. By combining a larger display, enhanced performance, and a refined design with consistent pricing, Samsung reinforces its leadership in the foldable smartphone market. Whether you're upgrading from an earlier model or exploring foldable devices for the first time, the Z Fold 7 delivers a compelling mix of innovation, functionality, and value. Its ability to balance innovative features with user-friendly design makes it a standout choice for anyone seeking a premium smartphone experience. BBC Dragons' Den's Hilary Devey leaves no money in will despite £80m fortune

Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Despite an estimated fortune of £80 million, Hilary Devey CBE reportedly left no cash in her will. The former star of BBC's Dragons' Den sadly passed away aged 65 in June 2022 whilst on holiday in Marrakesh, Morocco. The Bolton-born businesswoman had been fighting a long-term illness, and her death sparked touching tributes from ex-colleagues and fans alike. A year on from her passing, some intriguing details about her will have surfaced. Despite her considerable wealth, Hilary only left material possessions, including jewellery, to her loved ones. As per the Daily Mail, Hilary's 2021 will stated that her iconic diamond cross should go to her friend Audrey Mulligan, while her personal belongings were bequeathed to her son Mevlit Brewster-Ahmet and her publicist and solicitor, who served as trustees. This leaves the destiny of her estimated £80 million fortune somewhat enigmatic. Hilary's early years in the North West were worlds apart from her later triumphs. As a young girl, she saw bailiffs confiscating items from her family home after her father Arthur Brewster's central heating firm went bust, according to the Mirror, reports the Express. However, this hardship only stoked Hilary's drive, leading her to set up her own pallet business, financed by selling her house and car. Speaking about her motivation for success, Devey once said: "I didn't want my son to go without so I pushed myself hard to build a life for us. Fortunately, I was always good with numbers and I loved the cut and thrust of business." Her determination paid off handsomely. Throughout her life, she remained actively engaged in charity work, notably donating a penny for each pallet her firm, Pall-Ex, delivered as part of their 'Penny a Pallet' scheme. Acknowledged for her substantial input to the transport industry and her altruistic efforts, she was honoured in the 2013 Birthday Honours, receiving the title of Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE).
