Personalis Expands Tempus Strategic Collaboration to Bring Ultra-Sensitive Cancer Recurrence Testing
FREMONT, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Personalis, Inc. (Nasdaq: PSNL) today announced an expansion and extension of its strategic collaboration with Tempus AI, Inc. (Nasdaq: TEM), adding a new indication, colorectal cancer (CRC), to the existing, exclusive commercialization agreement. The update means Personalis and Tempus will now work to bring to market the NeXT Personal ® ultra-sensitive, tumor-informed minimal residual disease (MRD) test to detect cancer recurrence in four areas: breast, lung and colorectal cancers, and solid tumor immunotherapy monitoring. The addition of CRC follows the presentation of compelling interim analysis results from the VICTORI study at the 2025 American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting, which demonstrated strong performance of NeXT Personal for detecting early signs of residual or recurrent CRC. Colorectal cancer affects over 150,000 new patients in the U.S. annually, with many patients experiencing recurrence after initial treatment. Personalis has amended its agreement with Tempus to further accelerate the adoption of NeXT Personal. The updated terms will: Expand the collaboration by adding CRC as the fourth indication for which Tempus will serve as Personalis' exclusive commercial partner Extend the term of the initial agreement to November 2029 Lengthen the period of Tempus' exclusivity for all four indications through 2028 'This deepened collaboration is a key component of our 'Win in MRD' strategy,' said Chris Hall, CEO of Personalis. 'Every day, thousands of cancer survivors live with the uncertainty of whether their cancer will return. By expanding our collaboration with Tempus to include CRC, we're bringing peace of mind to more patients while building the evidence needed for broad reimbursement coverage for multiple indications.' By combining Personalis' highly sensitive MRD testing platform with Tempus' extensive market reach, the collaboration aims to equip oncologists with a powerful new tool to detect cancer recurrence earlier and manage their patients with a more personalized approach. 'The clinical performance we're seeing across cancer types demonstrates that ultra-sensitive detection fundamentally changes how we can monitor cancer patients," Hall added. "With Tempus' reach to over 50% of U.S. oncologists, we're accelerating access to technology that gives both physicians and patients the information they need when it matters most." About Personalis, Inc. At Personalis, we are transforming the active management of cancer through breakthrough personalized testing. We aim to drive a new paradigm for cancer management, guiding care throughout the patient journey. Our highly sensitive assays combine tumor-and-normal profiling with proprietary algorithms to deliver advanced insights even as cancer evolves over time. I tried this discounted pressure washer and my patio has never looked so good
Writer Chris Hall says the Karcher pressure washer 'blasts dirt off in no time' and you don't need any patio chemicals Winter wreaks havoc on your patio and paths, leaving them covered in moss and algae growth. That's what happened to my Indian flagstone patio, leaving it green and unsightly. With the weather turning for the better, there's an easy way to clean your patio or path - but I never expected the patio cleaner accessory on this Karcher K2 pressure washer to be so effective. It's easy to clean a patio with a pressure washer as you can blast the dirt off in no time, but the water sprays everywhere, including over yourself. Using the accessory, however, those jets of water are directed exactly where you need them - over the patio. Because there's a rotating head under that yellow dome, it covers a larger area than using the jet washer's lance, so cleaning is faster, as well as less messy. The Karcher K2 Power Control Home is a great choice of pressure washer because it's great value for money, sitting in the entry-level position from the popular brand, and you can snap one up for £104 on Amazon. It's also discounted at Argos, but it costs £120, so the model at Amazon is a better bet. Karcher isn't the only pressure washer brand, with Bosch offering a 110 bar pressure washer for £67 on Amazon, although this doesn't have a patio cleaning tool. The Home kit that this Karcher comes with includes the patio cleaner, as well as detergent designed to be used directly on your patio. I've never used the detergent as I found that water alone was enough the clean the muck off my patio. There are also a couple of "lances" in the kit, allowing a wide variety of cleaning jobs to be done, from spraying down garden furniture to cleaning the car. The good thing about Karcher is that there's a wide variety of accessories for different washing tasks, like a snow foam nozzle for car cleaning. The Karcher K2 is compact and not too heavy, so it's easy to move around, you'll have to plug it into the mains and connect it to your garden hose. That just clips on using a standard connector, so I can just take the off the normal Hozelock nozzle and connect the hose directly to the pressure washer. If you're not interested in patio cleaning, you can buy the K2 without the patio tool and if you think you'll need more power, then Karcher has a full range of different models to choose from. The K2 offers a maximum pressure of 110 bar, a flow rate of 360 litres for hour and has a 1400W power rating. The Karcher model has a 4.6-star average rating out of 5, as the Amazon reviews section shows many users were happy with the washer. Where shoppers rated the model low came with the hose length, as some thought it was 'too short'. As this user said: "Works very well , but doesn't include bottle or hose for liquid detergent as in the pictures. The hose is far too short at 5 metres. I've had to order another hose at 15 metres, which I didn't expect to do." Raising a similar issue another person said: "The hose length between the washer and lance is 5 meters, but it frequently tangles with the power lead and water hose as you have to walk around the car (because of the coiling of the hose) this making it cumbersome to use."

Ninja Woodfire BBQ Grill - Five features I love that make it my summer essential
Ninja Woodfire BBQ Grill - Five features I love that make it my summer essential The Ninja Woodfire BBQ Grill and Smoker is a versatile outdoor cooker that can grill, smoke, air fry, roast, bake, dehydrate and reheat - and it's currently on sale Writer Chris Hall tried out Ninja's Woodfire Electric BBQ Grill & Smoker (Image: Ninja's ) Brits are flocking to purchase the Ninja Woodfire as the summer sun emerges and everyone is keen to enjoy their best garden life. The Ninja model is said to be brimming with easy-to-use BBQ features, so writer Chris Hall tested it out. The brand is well-known for its innovative air fryers, combi cookers and ice cream makers. The Woodfire family includes a couple of models – there's the Woodfire Outdoor Oven (essentially a pizza oven) and the barbecue Grill and Smoker. Now is a great time to buy, as there's a £70 discount from Ninja direct as well as a £70 discount on Amazon, shoppers can get this outdoor cooker for £229. When it comes to alternatives, there isn't currently another brand offering the same type of wood-smoked cooking on the go, however, the Tower Portable Barrel Grill could be an option for simple BBQs. READ MORE: Samsung fans snapping up £9 SmartTag 2 thanks to TopCashback deal READ MORE: 'I made one smart and easy switch to my dogs meals and it saved me over £200 a year' Here are the top five features of the Ninja Woodfire barbecue Grill and Smoker that truly make it stand out and will ensure you get delicious food time after time, as Chris Hall highlights for the Mirror. 1. The woodsmoke system Using electric rather than gas or charcoal, the first thing to understand is where the Woodfire name originates from. That's due to a system that ignites wood pellets that you place in a hopper on the side of the lid. When you select the Woodfire mode, it ignites these wood pellets, drawing the smoke into the lid with the internal fan. The flavoured smoke is then circulated, infusing your food with that smoky flavour. Chris says the Ninja also gives off a great smokey aromoa (Image: Ninja ) Using wood smoke makes this a bit more thrilling than a standard electric barbecue and it's incredibly simple to use. Other electric BBQs can utilise wood chips, but they need to be placed inside the grill, which means you lose cooking space – this isn't an issue with the Ninja Woodfire. The Woodfires come with sample wood chips for you to try, and then you can purchase more once you've decided which ones you prefer. 2. The interchangeable grills Instead of a grate like a traditional BBQ, the Ninja Woodfire features a grill plate. This is a griddle, so it has raised bars for those sear marks on your food, with a drain hole at the back. This allows excess fat to drain away, ensuring your food isn't swimming in grease. The entire tray is removable, making it easy to clean, but it's not dishwasher safe, unlike some competitors like the Weber Lumin, due to the non-stick coating. I have managed to clean the grill easily, avoiding harsh scourers, and the non-stick coating still works, however, some shoppers have reported the non-stick coating coming off. If there's a drawback to the Ninja Woodfire, it would be the size of the grill. It manages to cater to a family of four, but if you're hosting a barbecue in your garden, then you're limited to cooking around 16 sausages at once, so for larger gatherings, you might need to consider a bigger option. 3. Cooking controls The controls on the Ninja Woodfire are designed for precision and ease of use, and in line with Ninja's other products, setting it to cook in various styles is straightforward. You can dial in the exact temperature you desire, decide whether to add smoke flavour or not, and set the cooking duration all through the user-friendly controls. Simply hit "start" and the grill begins its preheat, activates the smoke system, and prepares itself. The Ninja BBQ uses wood pellets to create a smokey taste (Image: Amazon ) The Woodfire Pro XL and the Woodfire Pro Connect XL models come with a temperature probe for precise cooking, which is particularly useful for ensuring meats aren't overcooked. However, this isn't offered on the standard model. 4. Family-sized My gas barbecue was enormous. Lighting it up to cook just a few sausages always seemed a bit excessive, so the compact size of the Ninja Woodfire is a benefit. The Woodfire is available in a few sizes, including an XL model that's larger if you need to cater for more people or want to cook larger cuts of meat or perhaps whole fish. It's 30% larger than the regular Ninja Woodfire, but it also costs more. I favour the smaller model because it's just the right size. I can barbecue chicken legs and thighs along with corn on the cob for four people without any issues, and it's large enough for a smaller whole chicken too, but it's certainly worth considering how many people you regularly cook for. Unlike a barbecue that utilises an open flame, there's no need to fret about leaving it unattended, as there's no exposed flame and no risk of a flare-up. 5. It's portable It's compact enough to fit into your car or camper van for a camping trip or if you fancy taking it to a mate's place to broaden their outdoor cooking options on barbecue night, provided you can plug it in. Article continues below It comes with large carry handles on the side, making it easy to move around and store, while it also boasts an IPX4 waterproof rating. It's not intended to be left outside indefinitely, but if you forget it outside one night and it gets a bit damp, it's not a problem. The Ninja Woodfire is available for purchase with a stand and a cover. I haven't tested these and have used it on a garden table when cooking (it's clean when cooking, so the table doesn't get dirty) but, a stand would be beneficial for those who want to use it like a standard barbecue.

The network provider's offer includes £100 cashback scheme and a complimentary pair of Galaxy Buds3 worth £159. This deal is part of Samsung's cashback promotion, where the £100 cashback is valid until 24 June 2025. The free Buds3 offer ends the following day on 25 June 2025. It's available to shoppers in a choice of mint, blue, graphite, or yellow. And when it comes to storage, it starts at the same as the standard S24, with a 128GB. The Samsung S24 FE has 'Photo Assist', an AI-led functionality proposing instant photo improvements. Not forgetting 'Generative Edit' for image alterations such as moving, deleting, or altering the size of objects, reports the Mirror. The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE has a 6.7-inch screen, coupled with a versatile triple camera setup at the back. It can also withstand IP68 water and dust resistance. On the phone's camera, tech journalist Chris Hall said: "When it comes to the cameras, you have a 50-megapixel main camera. "This has an ultrawide and telephoto lens on the back with 3x optical zoom. "That's the complete package, and while it's not as good as a flagship phone, you're well catered for. "The day-to-day experience is much the same, with the same One UI software and Galaxy AI features." Other retailers are offering freebies and competitive pricing. At Amazon, buyers can purchase the phone outright for £598. They will also get a complimentary Galaxy Watch 7 and cashback. The Samsung official website has the phone priced at £649 without any additional offers. Reviewing the Samsung S24 FE's overall performance, Chris continued: "The great thing about the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is that you get an experience that's really close to the Galaxy S24+." He notes that although the S24 FE is heavier and slightly larger, with a lower display resolution it boasts the same size AMOLED display as the S24+. However, there are some drawbacks. He said: "It's not quite as powerful and the battery is a little smaller, but it's more affordable, and that's the point." Meanwhile, GiffGaff offers various monthly contracts for the S24 FE starting from £18.03 for a 36-month contract, with an upfront fee of £20.

I ditched my posh Dyson for a bargain tower fan - and I don't regret it
In a bid to prove that cooling heat relief is possible on a budget, tech writer Chris Hall ditched his powerful Dyson fan for a much cheaper alternative Dyson fans are a lot of things: they're innovative, they offer connected features, they filter the air they circulate and they have trend-setting design. But they're also prohibitively expensive. While having a Dyson fan sitting in the corner all year round only adds kudos to that room, when the temperature rises, you might find the expensive price hard to swallow. I switched my top-of-the-range Dyson for a Russell Hobbs tower fan that was a fraction of the price, and I'm not looking back. Tower fans are popular because the design means they can stand in smaller spaces. The enclosed design is less tempting to little fingers and they are easy to place compared to a regular desk fan. The oscillation (rotation) that they offer also means you don't get a big fan head swinging around, which is the case with some other types of fan. But the thing that really appeals to me is how quietly a tower fan runs on lower settings. I use the fan for sleeping at night and it's a background hiss that doesn't disturb me - and all I don't have to prop the fan up or change the angle. I just turn it on and I sleep more comfortably. It seems I'm not alone: the Russell Hobbs tower fan that I bought is out of stock everywhere. In fact, if you're after a Russell Hobbs fan, the only model that seems to be available to buy is the black version instead. This model stands 1m high, has three speed settings and rotates through 85 degrees. It has a 7-hour timer, and there's also a Sleep Air Mode that reduces the fan speed after 30 minutes (when you're hopefully asleep) and turns off the annoying LED lights. Shoppers like it too, as one person said: "A decent tower fan that is almost a piece of furniture due to its size, but it's very good at doing the job it's made for." Another shared: "It's quieter than I thought it would be compared to my regular bladed fan". It also comes with a basic remote, rivalling some of the skills that Dyson offers, although the remote isn't the best, as one customer commented: "The remote is absolutely pathetic". I'm a technology nerd (which is why I had a Dyson fan in the first place), and I didn't just plug my tower fan in. Instead, I connected it to a cheap Tapo P100 smart plug, giving it Alexa voice control. When there's a heatwave, sometimes all you want to do is sit and I can now turn it on and off with my voice. Why do I think it's better than Dyson? The price is the obvious thing, but I also find that the air stream is wider. Dyson is really good at producing a focused jet of air, and the fan offers a lot of adjustment and control to get that air precisely where you want it. The Russell Hobbs can't compete with that, just as I don't get smartphone control for my cheap tower fan either. On Dyson's most advanced fans, you can control it with the app, and that includes changing the direction of it precisely using on-screen controls, while there's also smart home support. Yes, my Dyson also offers Alexa voice control. Dyson also offers HEPA filtration, which is great for those with allergies, but as I'm in a room with all the doors and windows open, that filtration isn't really doing anything for me. If a Dyson fan is what you're after, then there is a discount on one of the more basic models, with £80 off the price of the Dyson Cool AM07, so it's £269.99 from Dyson. This Dyson model doesn't have all the connected features that I've mentioned or the HEPA filter, but it's the most affordable model they offer. If you want a connected Dyson, then there's a £100 discount on the TP09 model, offering access through the MyDyson app, HEPA filters and formaldehyde purification, for £449.99 from Dyson.
