OISIN MURPHY has been lined up for a £330,000 winner - the day after his court appearance on a drink-drive charge.
The reigning champion jockey will appear at Reading Magistrates' Court on Thursday after he was involved in a car crash that left a young woman in hospital with 'serious injuries'.

Murphy, 29, was also charged with failing to provide a sample at the roadside on April 27.
The four-time champion jockey is booked for four rides at Thirsk on Wednesday, with the last of those at 5.48pm.
He will then make the 238-mile, five-hour journey from the North Yorkshire track to Reading for his court appearance.
But that trek is minuscule compared to what he has in store over the next few days.
Murphy is set to be at New York racecourse Saratoga, US, on Friday for a money-spinning ride on the Qatar Racing-owned New Century in the Group 1 Belmont Derby Invitational Stakes at 10.45pm British time.
Victory on the Brendan Walsh-trained three-year-old colt is worth £330,000 in all.
From there Murphy will make the seven-hour transatlantic flight back to Britain in time for 1.50pm at Sandown on Saturday, Coral-Eclipse day at the Surrey track.
He is booked for 10-1 change Shagraan there ahead of the eagerly anticipated ride on 12-1 Almaqam in the £1million Eclipse itself at 3.35pm.
Murphy has ridden New Century in seven of his eight career runs, the highlight being a Group 1 win at Woodbine in September last year.
New Century was trained by Andrew Balding then before moving to James Ferguson and then Walsh.
Irad Ortiz Jnr rode him most recently when the son of Kameko finished third in the American Turf Stakes at Churchill Downs in May.

Upon their arrival, the baby's distraught father was already by the child's side with the car door open. Emergency services made desperate attempts to resuscitate him, with medical responders arriving shortly afterwards. They performed CPR on the tiny child before realising he had suffered cardiac arrest. Shortly thereafter, the responders acknowledged they could do nothing further to save the baby, and he was declared dead at the scene, the Daily Star reports. An investigation into the tragic event was launched on Monday (June 30), but it remains unclear whether any arrests related to the incident have been made. Meanwhile, authorities in Karpathos, Greece, are currently probing the disappearance of a British tourist. Local Greek reports have suggested the 60-year-old Brit has been missing since Friday, when his car was found locked. Police and firefighters are currently scouring the area for the man, with special forces expected to join the search today. Elsewhere in Barcelona, a woman tragically lost her life after a strenuous shift cleaning the city's streets. As reported by El País, the cleaner was working in the Raval district of Ciutat Vella during the day's peak heat. She spent a gruelling eight hours outside in temperatures exceeding 30C. Over the weekend, southern Spain, especially around Seville, was predicted to hit a scorching 42C, while the French Mediterranean coast reached a blistering 40C on Saturday – similar temperatures were experienced in southern Italy and Sardinia. On Tuesday, the UK had its hottest day of the year so far as temperatures exceeded 34C, with new weather maps showing where the next heatwave is set to bring 36C. Starting from today, we will experience cooler conditions, with highs reaching the mid-20s across the country - less warm than the past few days. But the cold conditions are likely to be replaced by another heatwave in less than two weeks, according to the latest weather maps. On July 14, parts of the UK could experience temperatures as hot as 36C - with even the Scottish Highlands seeing highs of 25C. The maps, from WXCharts, show that areas around London and Southampton will be the warmest, with maximum temperatures oscillating between 35 and 36C.

Chief executive of miscarriage of justice review body resigns
Karen Kneller, who had held the position since 2013, has left her job at the Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC), it was announced on Wednesday. Last month former victims Commissioner Dame Vera Baird became the interim chairwoman of the CCRC, having been asked by the Lord Chancellor to carry out a review of the organisation. The CCRC had been heavily criticised for its handling of the Andrew Malkinson case, one of the worst miscarriages of justice in British legal history. Ms Kneller's resignation came after former chairwoman Helen Pitcher resigned in January, but claimed she had been scapegoated over the Malkinson case. Dame Vera said: 'The CCRC has a vital role to play in the criminal justice system, but confidence in the organisation has been badly damaged. Confidence in our work must be restored. 'I thank Karen for her work at the CCRC over many years.' Amanda Pearce, who is CCRC casework operations director, has been appointed interim chief executive. Mr Malkinson served 17 years in prison for a rape he did not commit, and was knocked back twice by the CCRC until his legal team carried out crucial DNA testing that was then repeated by the commission and led to his release. A review found that he could have been released 10 years earlier if the CCRC had obtained new DNA evidence as early as 2009, and thousands of cases are being reviewed in the wake of the bungled handling of the case. In May, the Commons Justice Committee also warned that the position of the current chief executive of the CCRC, Karen Kneller, was no longer tenable. MPs said in a report it followed 'unpersuasive' evidence from her on the CCRC's challenges and response to public criticisms in April, and concerns on the performance of the review body.

Brit gang 'threatened to decapitate' 'drug mule' and 'said they'd kill family'
Bella Culley, 18, is facing 20 years behind bars in a Georgian prison when she goes on trial next week for allegedly smuggling 11kg of cannabis into the Black Sea nation A teen drug mule suspect claims a group of British gangsters threatened to decapitate her and kill her family if she refused to smuggle cannabis for them in Thailand. Bella Culley, a pregnant 18-year-old from Billingham, Stockton-on-Tees, is currently languishing in Women's Penitentiary No. 5 in Tbilisi, Georgia after being caught with the drugs as she entered the country in May. Her trial is next week and she could be sentenced to 20 years if found guilty of drug smuggling. The 18-year-old claims the gang burned her with an iron, around the time she sent a desperate text to her family, begging them to: "HELP ME". In her defence, she is also claiming she tried to approach a police officer in Bangkok to tell them she was being coerced into acting for the gang. The officers then allegedly took her back to the same people who were abusing her. She is being defended by Malkhaz Salakaia - a well-respected lawyer who investigated an assassination attempt on a former president of her country. Mr Salakaia claims the young Brit "is not of the age to carefully consider what could have happened to her". Speaking about how the alleged gang targeted her in Bangkok, Mr Salakaia told the MailOnline: "They told her: we know the addresses of your parents, we know where your 16-year-old brother is. "They made her watch a video of a man being decapitated and told her: if you don't do as told, this is what is going to happen to you and your family. She felt queasy and almost fainted but they still forced her to watch it." He claims that she also still has burn marks on her arm. He said: "She was, so to say, branded — a hot iron was pressed on her arm. She was forced to do this — there was both psychological and physical pressure, the trace of which is still visible. "As to what connection did she have with this group - she knew several of them — they are British. At first, she knew one, and then through him met the others. However, we have grounds to assume that this group also had local accomplices, including in Thailand." Mr Salakaia also relayed how Bella tried to message her family while this was all happening. He said they told her she had to take the luggage they gave her, and she would have to carry it from "point A to point B, to this or that country" under the threat of killing her if she didn't. Unlike other mules, she was not enticed with a "potential reward or deal". "Bella was simply forced to do this", he added. Relaying the story of how Bella approached the Thai police, Mr Salakaia made a bold allegation against officers in the capital, suggesting some kind of involvement. "This allows the simplest conclusion — that this group, so to say, had things arranged with the local police," he said.
