"Ahl Al Khattaya" Renewed for Season 2
The supernatural star-studded TV series "Ahl Al Khattaya" (People of Sins) has been renewed for Season 2.
The cast stars Jamal Soleiman, Sawsan Badr, Rania Youssef, Mohamed Tharwat, Ahmed Fahim, Islam Gamal, Walaa El Sherif, Ashraf Zaki, Farah El Zahed, and more.
The 15-episode series debuted during the first half of the holy month of Ramadan.
Raouf Abdel Aziz directed the drama from a script by Ahmed Anwar and Mohammed Abdelkawy.
Derived from real stories and crimes, "Ahl Al Khattaya" revolves around the world of magic and jinn and how this mysterious realm can captivate the minds of many and be used for personal gain and interests."
The season finale highlights the eternal struggle between good and evil, represented by man and Satan, as the latter pushes the former toward committing sins, while the former attempts to repent and seek forgiveness.
The episode begins with Hind (Farah El Zahed) taking the child Youssef to a house.
She is followed by Noah (Jamal Soleiman), who is surprised by the spirit of Durgham and all the evil spirits.
Durgham tells him that he disavows the sins of the Abu Zaid family, which caused their destruction.
Here, the eternal, controversial dialogue about the cause of the first sin on earth begins.
Noah defends humanity and tells Durgham that God has blessed humanity with the gift of repentance, provided they seek forgiveness.
He then recites verses from the Holy Quran that protect him against magic, and the evil spirits begin to burn.
In the final scene of the episode, Noah walks away from the house while Safia (Sawsan Badr) stands behind him, watching.
The episode concluded with the announcement of a second season of the series.
"Ahl Al Khattaya" season 2 is set to screen during the Ramadan 2026 drama marathon.

"Superman" Crosses $400 Million at Global Box Office
Yara Sameh 'Superman,' the newly rebooted comic book adventure starring David Corenswet as the Man of Steel, continues to rule the worldwide box office, reaching $406 million after two weekends of release. Those ticket sales include $171.8 million overseas and $235 million from the North American market. Turnout remains slower than expected at the international box office, where 'Superman' added $45.2 million in its second weekend. Outsized global appeal is vital because the comic book reboot has the lofty goal of launching a new phase of superhero movies for the Warner Bros.-backed DC Studios. Two interconnected spinoffs, 'Supergirl' and 'Clayface,' will land in 2026, while a new 'Wonder Woman' movie is in the works. However, the latest 'Jurassic' has T-rex-sized footprints to fill at the box office since the prior sequel trilogy, led by Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, each grossed $1 billion globally. Another new release, Sony's R-rated 'I Know What You Did Last Summer,' launched to $11.6 million from 58 markets. The slasher sequel, which brought together the stars of the original 1998 film, Freddie Prinze Jr. and Jennifer Love Hewitt, with newcomers Madelyn Cline and Chase Sui-Wonders, debuted in North America with $13 million for a global start of $24.6 million. Although nostalgia isn't as strong as Sony might have expected when rebooting the decades-old franchise, the studio spent a modest $18 million to produce the film, meaning there isn't a high bar to clear in terms of profitability. In another box office milestone, Apple's 'F1: The Movie' has revved past the $450 million mark globally. So far, the $250 million-budgeted film has collected a huge $307.2 million internationally and $460.8 million worldwide. At this point, 'F1' has earned more in just overseas markets than any of Apple's prior movies — including Martin Scorsese's 'Killers of the Flower Moon' ($158 million worldwide) and Ridley Scott's 'Napoleon' ($221 million) — have generated in their entire global box office runs. Korea Culture Week 2025 Draws Great Turnout
Yara Sameh - Ali Abo Deshish The Korean Cultural Center (KCC) in Egypt brought the curtain down on Korea Culture Week 2025 with a spectacular closing ceremony held at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC). It amis to enhance cultural and civilizational exchange between Egypt and South Korea. The annual event provided a unique platform that combined elements of Korean heritage and contemporary arts. The highlight of the evening was the Egyptian Preliminary Round of the renowned K-Pop World Festival, where rising talents competed for a chance to represent Egypt at the global finals in Changwon, South Korea. Egyptian performers captivated the audience with their dynamic, high-energy dance routines, expressing their deep admiration and passion for K-Pop idols. Out of 5 performance groups, the winners of the competition 1st Place The Groove, 2nd Place Hams Mohamed and 3rd Place Angster earned top honors and will be qualified for participation in the global finals, co-hosted in October by Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Korean Broadcasting System (KBS). The ceremony opened with captivating performances by graduates of the K-Pop and Gugak (traditional Korean music) academies, which were held earlier last month at the Academy of Arts. Their performances reflected the growing cultural exchange and mutual understanding between Egypt and Korea. Throughout the week, the KCC organized a rich program of events, including traditional and contemporary Korean music performances, a vibrant hanbok (traditional Korean attire) exhibition, hands-on workshops, and an engaging display of traditional Korean musical instruments. Visitors of all ages enjoyed hanbok try-on experiences and captured memorable moments in photos while wearing the colorful garments. The exhibition was curated by renowned Korean designer Kim Ji-Eun, who also led a popular workshop on hanbok accessory design that welcomed around 300 participants. Audiences also explored the 'Korean Culture Boxes' – a traveling showcase featuring miniature exhibits of Korean life, including traditional housing, hangeul (the Korean alphabet), and various cultural artifacts, offering an interactive cultural experience. Meanwhile, the KCC launched the K-Comics World Exhibition, marking Egypt as the first international stop. The exhibition features the globally acclaimed webtoon Hellbound, ahead of its next destinations in Canada, China, Hungary, and Japan. The exhibition will remain open to the public at the Korean Cultural Center in Cairo until the end of July.
