Tusshar Kapoor Reveals How He Was Targeted For Being A Star Kid: "Hero Dikhne Laayak Nahi Ho"
Tusshar Kapoor made his big Bollywood debut in 2001 with Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai, alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan. Jeetendra's son Tusshar Kapoor recently got candid about discussions surrounding nepotism. He spoke about how today it is more rampant, but even two decades ago, it still existed.
Tusshar told Hindustan Times, "It had started in my time, too. Especially if you were from a film background, then the glass is always half empty for a certain section of the media. You have to be very thick-skinned. Bahut neecha giraane ki koshish, bahut negativity thi (There were efforts to pull you down, a lot of negativity)."
Furthermore, speaking about how certain section of the media tried to derail his career and pull him down, Tusshar added, "If you come to a press conference naturally without makeup and hair, you are criticised that aap hero d ikhne ke laayak nahi ho (you don't look like a hero). If you come with makeup and hair done, you are told you are too filmy. Everyone was trying to pull you down."
Tusshar concluded by saying, "I feel fortunate enough to have the willpower to tolerate it and just concentrate on my work. That work ethic is what took me forward. The film (Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai) was released, and it did really well. Otherwise, I could have been crushed under this pressure. I didn't come into the industry feeling I had to live up to someone's expectations. But there was an attempt to constantly judge and derail my path. But the audience is very pure. They will judge you based on what they see on the screen."
He furthermore shared that it is not that easy for star kids. The first film is easier, but even there it is a matter of chance. It is all about how one finishes the first film and then the choices made thereafter.

Kiara Advani drops UNSSEEN photo with Hrithik Roshan and Ayan Mukerji ahead of War 2 trailer release; Jr NTR missing from frame
Kiara Advani shared a behind-the-scenes photo with Hrithik Roshan and director Ayan Mukerji, heightening anticipation for the War 2 trailer. Jr NTR's absence from the photo and promotional events has fueled speculation. Yash Raj Films is strategically keeping Roshan and NTR apart to maximize the impact of their on-screen rivalry, heightening audience anticipation for the film's release. As anticipation builds for the trailer of War 2, Kiara Advani has stirred even more excitement by sharing an unseen behind-the-scenes photo with co-star Hrithik Roshan and director Ayan Mukerji. While the snapshot has fans buzzing, it's Jr NTR 's absence that has raised eyebrows—fueling speculation around Yash Raj Films ' strategic decision to keep the lead actors apart ahead of the film's release. A Scenic Moment With the Team On Thursday, Kiara Advani took to social media to share a glimpse of the War 2 team. In a photo posted on her Instagram Story, she is seen posing with co-star Hrithik Roshan and director Ayan Mukerji. The trio stands against a scenic backdrop, hinting at a foreign shoot location. Check out the photo here: In the photo, Kiara Advani sports a casual yet chic look in a white tank top and beige cargo pants, with her hair tied back in a ponytail. The new mom strikes a relaxed pose with one hand in her pocket and a radiant smile. Hrithik Roshan complements the vibe in a blue and black checkered shirt paired with light blue jeans. Where Is Jr NTR? The trio looks effortlessly stylish in the photo, but Jr NTR—who plays the antagonist in War 2—is notably absent from the frame. His missing presence has already sparked curiosity among fans eagerly awaiting the trailer. Kiara, clearly excited for the upcoming War 2 trailer launch, captioned her Instagram Story with, 'All set for tomorrow,' adding an awestruck emoji and fingers crossed to build anticipation. Promotion Strategy Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR are not promoting War 2 together—an intentional move by Yash Raj Films. According to a report by Hindustan Times, the production house, led by Aditya Chopra , wants audiences to witness their intense on-screen rivalry for the first time in theatres. As part of this strategy, the two stars have been kept apart throughout the promotional campaign. Jr NTR was also missing from the wrap-up celebration of War 2 earlier this month. The shoot concluded with Hrithik Roshan, director Ayan Mukerji, and choreographer Bosco Martis cutting a cake to mark the occasion—while Jr NTR's absence once again stood out. War 2 marks the sixth instalment in the YRF Spy Universe and is slated for release on August 14, 2025, perfectly timed to coincide with the Independence Day weekend.

Their fresh pairing has sparked major buzz, and audiences are loving their chemistry. In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Aditya shared that he and Sara didn't know each other before filming. He said, 'We didn't know each other before. We just knew each other socially, and that's not the same as spending hours together on a film set working on something together. The actor, known for his romantic on-screen equations in films like Aashiqui 2, Ok Jaanu, and Malang, added, 'When it comes to chemistry, I don't think that's something that two people can sit and plan, saying we will now conjure it up. Cardi B Sued For Throwing Microphone At Fan During Las Vegas Concert In 2023
Last Updated: Cardi B is facing a lawsuit from a woman who claims the rapper threw a microphone at her during a 2023 Las Vegas performance. Rapper Cardi B is facing a lawsuit after allegedly injuring a fan by throwing a microphone at her during a live show in Las Vegas in July 2023. The incident occurred at a beach club, where the artist was performing in extremely hot weather. A video from the event quickly went viral online. According to Billboard, the fan, who is going by the name Jane Doe in legal papers, says Cardi B had asked the audience to splash her with water to cool her down. Jane Doe claims she followed this request and gently tossed her drink toward the stage, something several others in the crowd were also doing. What the Lawsuit Says But things took a turn when Cardi B allegedly threw her microphone at the woman in response. The lawsuit says Cardi's reaction was unexpected and violent. 'Multiple attendees responded in kind, throwing drinks toward the stage, several of which visibly reached Cardi B and the surrounding performance area," the lawsuit states as quoted by Hindustan Times. 'Plaintiff, acting by the environment created by Cardi B's express words and conduct, and in a manner consistent with other attendees, splashed a small portion of her drink in Cardi B's direction. In apparent anger and without warning, Cardi B suddenly and forcefully threw her microphone directly at the plaintiff," the complaint adds. The woman says the mic hit her and caused physical injuries. She also says she suffered emotional distress and was harassed online after the clip went viral. Her condition worsened when the microphone was later auctioned for $99,000 (approximately Rs 85 lakh). Jane Doe is also suing the Las Vegas beach club where the performance took place. She claims the staff failed to keep the crowd safe and should have known Cardi might act out, especially since the lawsuit says she had thrown a mic at a DJ just one day earlier at the same location. 'What has been written off as a joke by many people is a traumatic experience that has significantly impacted my well-being and quality of life," Jane said in a public statement as quoted by Hindustan Times. 'I'm seeking justice in the hopes of holding Cardi B accountable for her misdeeds, as no celebrity is above the law," she added in her statement. Her lawyer, Cierra N. Norris, is expected to hold a press conference in Las Vegas. Reportedly, Jane Doe has chosen to stay anonymous due to ongoing mental health struggles and fear of public backlash. Cardi B's Team Responds Cardi B's lawyer, Drew Findling, has denied all claims, calling the lawsuit a money grab. 'The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and the Clark County District Attorney's Office closed this matter for insufficient evidence a long time ago, but the opportunity to try to make money off of a celebrity was too much for some willing law firm to pass up," he said.
