TICKET FARCE 'Same incompetence every time' – Scotland fans left raging at ticket shambles that forces SFA to CANCEL all sales
SCOTLAND fans have been left fuming after a ticket cock-up saw all sales for the trip to Denmark CANCELLED.
The SFA started to sell briefs for the World Cup qualifier away to the Danes on September 5 this morning.

But hours later they informed all members of the Scotland Supporters Club who had managed to secure seats that their tickets were no longer valid.
Hampden chiefs blamed a "technical error" that allowed fans who didn't have enough points to buy tickets in the sale that was meant to be restricted to those with between 32 and 21 points.
An SFA message explaining the issue said: "The Scottish FA is aware of a technical error that occurred during this morning's ticket sale for the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qualifying match against Denmark, which allowed purchase by some Scotland Supporters Club (SSC) members who were not eligible during the window that was reserved for those with 32-21 Points.
"As a result, we will regrettably need to restart the sales process from scratch in the interest of fairness, with any purchase that was made today being cancelled and refunded.
"The new sale will commence at 10am on Wednesday, 23 July.
"The SFA would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused to supporters."
The news angered many fans, with some complaining that the new sale time could mean they now miss out on a ticket.
One fan said: "How hard is it for them to do the right thing first time.
"They've had a week to set it up? And only have to do it 5 times a year... It's the same incompetence every time."
Another fan said sarcastically: "Ahhh great! Working tomorrow afternoon when tickets go on sale to those on 20+ points and above which means it'll be harder for me to get my ticket. Cheers."

While a third fan groaned: "This country cannot do anything right."
The away trip to Denmark kicks off Scotland's World Cup qualifying campaign.
Three days later Steve Clarke's men are on the road again when they face Belarus - with the game to be played in Hungary.
They then have a home double header against Greece and Belarus on October 9 and 12.
A trip to Greece is next on November 15 before the campaign ends at Hampden Park against the Danes on November 18.

AS Roma unveil new kit that has Celtic fans all saying the same thing about adidas
The Serie A giants and adidas have launched an eye-catching new third shirt that has left Hoops supporters green with envy Sportswear designers at adidas, look away now. Celtic fans aren't impressed. The Hoops have launched a raft of 2025/26 training and matchday gear over the summer - including three brand new kits. But ever since penning a record-breaking deal with adidas in 2020, fans have been split over the mixed bag of designs dished out by the German giants. And now some fed-up punters have hit boiling point after AS Roma unveiled a third strip that's left Celtic diehards green with envy. The Italian outfit dropped a stunning new jersey that looks strikingly similar to a classic Celtic top - featuring a white base, green collar and gold trim. The eye-catching shirt - made by adidas - doesn't come cheap, priced at £86.50 before any personalisation. But that hasn't stopped Hoops supporters from venting their fury online, with many insisting the kit should've been saved for Brendan Rodgers ' side. One baffled fan wrote: "Adidas: 'We've got a white and green, trefoil classic looking shirt with the word 'TIM' on the front of it, which club can we give this shirt to?' And still gives it out to Roma rather than Celtic. Mental." Another raged: "If you can't see that this is what @celticfc should be getting rather than that pair of pyjamas we got then you really need to pick up your game next year." This supporter fumed: "Who at Celtic and adidas passed the kits for Celtic this season because they're abysmal compared to many other kits released so far this marketing season." A fourth fan sighed: "Would have been an all timer this one." One punter took a more measured view, saying: "I've been a little critical of the noise around the Adidas kits this season but I have to say this would have been a beauty of a Celtic top." While another huffed: "This is why our shite strips are so frustrating. We're not asking for a masterpiece, just give us something simple and clean like this." There was at least one supporter prepared to defend adidas' corner, though, saying: "Still would be pointless kit though as it still clashes with St Mirren and Killie away. Point of away and 3rd kits is to avoid kit clashes, which adidas have failed to do in four different seasons for Celtic." The Nicolas Kuhn Celtic transfer question I got answer to the minute I set eyes on George Clooney's favourite escape
Our man Michael Gannon is with the Hoops in a specular spot in Northern Italy and they ramp up their pre-season preparations 'So Nicolas Kuhn, what was it that attracted you to a move to Como?' After just a few hours in these parts, there's no need for the now ex- Celtic star to answer. Yeah, the German probably has some football and financial reasons, the chance to make a few quid and play in Serie A sounds good enough. But one look at this town and it's easy to see why he jumped at the chance. Listen, Glasgow's great and all that, it's home sweet home to plenty of us, but not Kuhn. And when he clapped eyes on this Italian oasis, no one could blame him for giving it a bash. Como is absolutely sensational. George Clooney has a gaff up the road from here and the big man has the right idea. It's like a movie set and a postcard at the same time. Celtic have been to some nice pre-season spots over the years, but it's hard to top this one for scenery. There's also a real football flavour in the town. This Como Cup might be a friendly tournament but the area has gone to town on it. There are posters everywhere, a fan zone down by Lake Como which must have the most spectacular five-a-side pitch in the world. Not far from there is the Studio Guiseppe Sinigaglia – which is a goal kick away from the water. It's a bit like Gayfield in Arbroath – without the 50mph freezing wind – and rather than a fun fare next door, it's a millionaires' playground. There can't be many more stunning stadiums in the entire world. There can't be many better preseason trips for fans either. A fair few are starting to filter into the area ahead of Thursday night's clash with Ajax. There are always tell tale signs. The local funicular – the wee tram that takes folk up the hill to see some of the best views on the planet – was shuffling on its way up and right at the front there was an away shirt with 'McGregor' on the back. It was a young fan rather than the actual Hoops captain but it wasn't long before plenty of other supporters were spotted wandering around town with their jaws open at the sights. They'd love to see a few new signings as well, mind you… perhaps Clooney can do a job on the wing. In the meantime they might feel right at home. This place was run by the original Celts until the Romans marched in, like they do. Julius Caesar eventually named it and the rest is history. This has always been on of Europe's top tourist traps but the local team has struggled through the years, mainly due to being just up the road from the Milan giants. But it's certainly in business these days, with a rise to the top from Serie D thanks to new investment and now with a glamour boss in Cesc Fabregas. No wonder Kuhn found all this appealing. Unlike old Benito Mussolini. The Italian dictator met his end in these parts, arrested around Lake Como in Dongo, he was eventually executed the next day down the road in Tremezzina. It's a touchy subject these days, so Celtic fans might need to tread carefully with the transfer chat – given the Hoops are looking for a right winger…

Ex-Celtic boss Neil Lennon ‘targets Rangers star in transfer swoop as he eyes surprise Dunfermline deal'
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) NEIL LENNON is reportedly planning a raid on his old rivals Rangers as he targets one of Russell Martin's stars in a surprise loan swoop. Celtic hero Lennon, 54, is looking to add to his Dunfermline squad after extending his stay as manager in Fife for another two years. Lennon has already snapped up six new players, including a deal for Celtic youngster Alasdair Davidson who left the Hoops when his contract expired this summer. Now the gaffer is looking at the other side of Glasgow for his next signing as he prepares to make a move for a new goalkeeper, it's being claimed. Last season he had Celtic starlet Tobi Oluwayemi in his squad after he joined the club on loan for the season from the Parkhead club. Now he's lacking goalie options following Oluwayemi's return to Celtic. But he's reportedly set to fill the void by signing Mason Munn on loan from Rangers, according to a report. The Daily Record claim Munn is Lennon's number one target to take Oluwayemi's place in the squad as he eyes further competition for first choice Deniz Mehmet. It's believed Rangers are keen to let him leave this summer to get his first taste of senior football. The 19-year-old has only ever made one senior appearance - in the Scottish Cup against Fraserburgh. Meanwhile, Munn might not be the only Old Firm star to replace one of their rivals at another Scottish club in the coming days. Rangers transfer special assesses whether Conor Coady deal is OFF, if Hamza Igamane will leave and when the Gers can expect more incomings Livingston are chasing Celtic left-back Adam Montgomery, with Lions boss David Martindale looking for a replacement for Gers full-back Robbie Fraser. Fraser helped Livingston earn promotion to the top flight through the play-offs last season but is now back at Ibrox. It's believed Livi are set to make Montgomery their latest summer signing.
