The Devil Wears Prada became an instant classic when it came out in 2006. Meryl Streep was cold, precise, and downright cruel as Miranda Priestly, the boss of fashion magazine Runaway. Anne Hathaway played the rookie journalist who had no interest in fashion whatsoever, but both these characters' journeys throughout the film made up for a witty, fast-paced, and layered narrative. Well now fans are soon going to get the chance to see both of them together yet again, as The Devil Wears Prada 2 is on the floor, and several leaks from the sets of the film confirm the same.

In the leaked photos, Meryl Streep was seen rocking the same iconic haircut from the first film, wearing clothes that seem worthy of the editor-in-chief of a big fashion magazine. Anne Hathaway, on the other hand, has been seen in several different outfits, which seem to suggest that her character Andy from The Devil Wears Prads found success in her life and her decision to leave Miranda's side was the right one professionally. Stanley Tucci, who plays Nigel, another employee wronged by his boss, was also seen alongside Hathaway, sitting inside a cafe.

In The Devil Wears Prada, Meryl Streep handled the role with perfection, and her already stellar career had another star etched onto it. Anne Hathaway became a household name overnight and since then has had a career so varied and successful, David Frankel, who directed the first film, has returned, and so has screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna. According to Page Six, Kenneth Branagh, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, and B.J. Novak are the latest additions to the cast, with Emily Blunt also returning alongside the other lead actors.
Deadline reported that the plot of the film will have Miranda (Meryl Streep) dealing with the decline of the traditional magazine, while Andy (Anne Hathaway) is a highly powerful executive of a luxury group. This time around Miranda will be asking the favours, and Andy will be deciding whether she helps her or not.

Emily Blunt joins Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway for 'The Devil Wears Prada 2'; takes over NYC with red head and elegant outfit

It's 'The Devil Wears Prada 2' season – and social media is all about the new looks, the stunning cast on the streets of NYC, and the designer looks which they have signed up for. While Meryl Streep , Anne Hathaway , and Stanley Tucci had their moments a couple of moons ago, it's finally time for the red-headed Emily Blunt . Here's a closer look at Emily Blunt, out and about on the streets of NYC. About Emily Blunt's outfit The 42-year-old actress, reprising her role as Emily Charlton, gave a glimpse of her not-so-blunt look. Wearing the crisp and elegant outfit, Emily wore a striped suit with a stitched bustier, along with a luxurious pair of shades and finely painted nails, according to Deadline. What stole the show was the fine leather bag and the red bob hair, making her the perfect fit in the fashion industry. Meryl Streep (Miranda Priestly) and Anne Hathaway (Andrea 'Andy' Sachs) were spotted multiple times in NYC, whether it was a chase or at a restaurant. What is the sequel about? While the cast has been openly gushed over, the details about the plot have been kept under wraps. At the end of the original film, Sachs leaves the fashion industry in the most dramatic way and joins a New York City newspaper. In the sequel, Priestley would reportedly navigate the decline of the traditional print media and would face Charlton, who was once her assistant but now mints dollars with advertising that the former desperately needs, according to Variety. About 'The Devil Wears Prada 2' Joining the original cast, the new members include Kenneth Branagh , who would be playing Miranda Priestly's husband, as well as Lucy Liu, Simone Ashley , Justin Theroux , B.J. Novak and Pauline Chalamet in unknown roles. The most anticipated film, 'The Devil Wears Prada 2,' will be released in the theatres on May 01, 2025.

Embrace the power of a makeover moment Image: Who could forget Mia Thermopolis's transformation in The Princess Diaries? Anne's evolution from schoolgirl plaid to royal ballgown is pure inspiration. Don't be afraid to experiment, play with the styling- try a classic plaid skirt with a pastel cardigan, then amp it up for night with a statement off-shoulder dress and pearl headband. 2. Remember? 'The Devil Wears Prada' look, could be your statement outwear Did you remember? Andy Sachs's glow-up in The Devil Wears Prada? A killer coat and well-chosen accessories are game changers. Throw a tailored coat over a fitted turtleneck or mini, and finish with tall boots and a 'runway but practical' bag. Try styling in and you will get a beautiful chic out of the outerwear. 3. From chunky knitwear to sequins, play with texture Have you ever tried denims with sequins? If not, then try it out. Style up to get the eyes locked on your boldness Anne is a master of the color wheel—think 'Barbiecore' hot pink or a classic cerulean blue from 'The Devil Wears Parada. Try vibrant monochromes, color-pop accessories, and even all-over print suiting for maximum impact. Don't play it safe—sparkling pink or rich jewel tones can make you feel instantly A-list. 5. Mix boss- lady chic with comfort In The Intern, Anne shows how modern workwear can be both stylish and practical. Take inspiration from Anna and master monochrome for a polished effect—think neutrals, oversize button-downs, loafers, and structured handbags. Layer yourself with confidence. 6. The classic Hollywood glam Whether channeling Audrey Hepburn in a custom Zac Posen gown or wowing in a corseted Versace, Anne knows how to define her silhouette. You too can channel it out with your creativity and Anna's inspiring look. Choose dresses and coats with built-in belts or add your own statement belt to knot in feminine structure. 7. Let your personal style tell your story Anne says it best: 'I love when clothes make cultural statements and I think personal style is really cool.' So, don't chase trends blindly—borrow inspiration from Anne's confidence and willingness to mix high fashion with personal quirks, be it a baseball cap, heart pendants, or a swoosh of lipstick, just give it a try. Ultimately, the most stylish thing you can wear is what makes you feel authentically you. Anne Hathaway's style evolution is proof that fashion is for fun, storytelling, and empowerment. Whether you're off to the office or headed for your own dramatic reveal, take a cue from Anne: step out, shine bright, and give the world a little style surprise of your own.

Are BTS clips ruining our movie viewing experience?

Photos of (L-R) Emily Blunt, Anne Hathaway & Meryl Streep have flooded social media from The Devil Wears Prada 2 shoot in NYC In 2006, The Devil Wears Prada captivated audiences with its fresh, unspoiled charm. Now, as The Devil Wears Prada 2 shoots in New York, set photos of Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, and Emily Blunt are already flooding social media. This has prompted fans on X to lament the loss of surprise. What was once a stylish spectacle unveiled in the theatre is now pre-digested content. This flood of behind-the-scenes (BTS) material raises a larger question: is the magic of cinema being eroded by its own marketing machine? The chroma key problem Visual-effects-heavy films also suffer from overexposure. Dune (2021) used sand-colored 'sandscreens' instead of green to better match Arrakis's lighting. Deadpool & Wolverine relied on blue screens for multiverse sequences. Despite Marvel's usual misdirection, leaks of green screen footage dulled the impact of big reveals. Fans on social media stress that the illusion of epic scale can't survive if audiences have already seen the BTS BTS snap from Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning BTS or on-screen magic: What's more important? 'It's cool to know that Tom Cruise did the stunts himself' In Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, Tom Cruise performed 16 parachute jumps. But a BTS featurette released pre-film spoiled the moment for many. 'It's not cool because it's a surprise — it's cool because he's actually doing the stunt,' said one Redditor, though others felt the reveal deepened their appreciation. The illusion of drama unraveled Emotional peaks are dulled by early reveals. In Heads of State, MI6 agent, played by Priyanka Chopra, is seen in a high-stakes scene at Spain's Tomatina Festival – but it was filmed in France using fake tomatoes and skin-safe jelly. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 3/4 BHK Flats ₹1.65 Cr onwards Honer Signatis Book Now Undo Such details don't make for immersive viewing. Eshan Bose, an action movie fan from Kolkata, feels the tension is gone. 'When you already know how the stunt's done, it kills the moment. You admire the logistics, not feel the thrill,' he says. Aratrick Bhadra, a budding filmmaker, disagrees. 'Cinema isn't ruined by spoilers — it's elevated by curiosity,' he explains.
