Jenna Ortega Looks Like a Goth Angel With Bleached Brows and Waist-Length Hair

Yahoo3 days ago
Jenna Ortega has been toying with bleaching her brows for a few months now. It's a dangerous game for most of us, but with a stellar glam squad to guide her, she's been making it look easy to pull off. It all started when she showed up at CinemaCon 2025 in April with nearly blonde brows that stood in contrast with her black-cherry hair, but that was followed by multiple appearances with darker brows. And now, she's decided to not only go all the way with the bleach but also totally change up the hair on her head, too.
Ortega arrived at the season-two London premiere of Wednesday, of which she plays the titular role, looking like what you'd expect to see next to 'goth angel' in the dictionary if 'goth angel' were actually in the dictionary. She wore a faux snakeskin dress in a cream color that nearly matched her skin—much like her now nearly-invisible eyebrows.
Surrounding her brows was a glowing, fully highlighted complexion with hints of deep, berry-tone colors on her lips, cheeks, and eyes. Her nails, however, recall the mannequin-hand trend of yore, blending in perfectly with her skin, but with a glossy touch.
As bold as her bleached brows may be, we can make a pretty strong argument that it's her hair making the boldest beauty statement in this overall incredible look.
It's truly not every day that you see Ortega wearing her hair more than a few inches past her shoulders, let alone a few inches past her waist. For the red carpet—or in this case, purple carpet—however, her hair dangled from a low, middle-parted ponytail with a massive knot that gave way to nearly two more feet of very loose waves.
While it's unclear whether Ortega's brows are lightened up for a part or just on a whim, one thing is clear: She can look completely different tomorrow if she feels like it.

Grief-stricken Sharon Osbourne and kids put on united front at Ozzy's funeral procession

Sharon Osbourne and her three kids — Aimee, Jack and Kelly — put on a united front at Ozzy Osbourne's funeral procession in Birmingham, England, on Wednesday. The frail mom of three, 72, and her kids, including her stepson Louis, got out of a black vehicle and walked over to a pile of flowers and cards that fans left along the roads. There, she placed a pink flower that was wrapped in black paper among the other fans' tributes. Sharon, who wore a black floor-length dress, became overtaken with emotions as she cried while Kelly and Jack held onto her arms to help hold her up. The family then turned to the screaming crowd and held up peace signs before walking back to their vehicles and continuing the procession. The Black Sabbath frontman's family planned for him a 'small, private funeral' following his tragic death on July 22, an insider told People Tuesday. 'Ozzy would never want a mope-fest,' the source shared. There was also a public procession to honor Ozzy in Birmingham. 'It was important to the city that we support a fitting, dignified tribute ahead of a private family funeral,' Zafar Iqbal, the city's lord mayor, said in a statement Monday. The musician's hearse traveled down Broad Street with his family following in vehicles. Ozzy's funeral plans respected his wishes to have a 'celebration, not a mope-fest.' 'I honestly don't care what they play at my funeral; they can put on a medley of Justin Bieber, Susan Boyle and We Are the Diddymen if it makes 'em happy,' he shared in a 2011 Times column. 'I'd also like some pranks: maybe the sound of knocking inside the coffin; or a video of me asking my doctor for a second opinion on his diagnosis of 'death,'' the Prince of Darkness quipped. 'There'll be no harping on the bad times.' Ozzy's family announced his passing via a statement obtained by Page Six last week. 'It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love,' they wrote. Over the years, the songwriter has suffered from Parkinson's disease and other health issues.

Roger Daltrey Says Zak Starkey Was Fired by The Who Over a ‘Complete Misunderstanding' and ‘Character Assassination'

The band's longtime drummer was dismissed, rehired, and let go again in April In a new interview, The Who singer and co-founder Roger Daltrey said that the band's longtime drummer, Zak Starkey, was fired after a 'complete misunderstanding' led Starkey to make comments Daltrey said amounted to 'character assassination.' Starkey, the son of Beatles drummer Ringo Starr, had served as the band's drummer since 1996 but in April he was fired after the band performed at the Royal Albert Hall, was then re-hired, and then fired again. The reasons for this odd turn of events weren't clear at the time, but speaking to The Times of London, Daltrey explained that it started with a mixing error. 'It is controlled by a guy on the side, and we had so much sub-bass on the sound of the drums that I couldn't pitch. I was pointing to the bass drum and screaming at him because it was like flying a plane without seeing the horizon,' he explained. 'So when Zak thought I was having a go at him, I wasn't. That's all that happened.' Starkey apparently thought Daltrey was yelling at him and later said, 'what happened was I got it right and Roger got it wrong. That, Daltrey told The Times, was 'kind of a character assassination' and 'incredibly upsetting.' When asked to explain why Starkey rejoined only to be fired again, he added, 'Pete and I retain the right to be the Who. Everyone else is a session player. You can't replace Keith Moon. We wanted to branch out and that's all I want to say about it. But [Starkey's reaction] was crippling to me.' Read the interview with Roger Daltrey here. Ozzy Osbourne's Guitarist Zakk Wylde Details Final Conversation

Originally appeared on E! Online Zakk Wylde is sharing his final moment with Ozzy Osbourne. The guitarist, who worked on and off with the 'Crazy Train' singer since 1987, recently reflected on playing Osbourne's final show with Black Sabbath on July 5, admitting he had no idea how impactful the moment would become. 'Everybody and their mother were in the backstage dressing room and I just wanted to give him a break,' Zakk recalled in an interview with Guitar World published July 29. 'I figured we'd see him later on—the next day or whatever. But no. The last text I got from Oz was saying, 'Zakky, sorry, it was like a madhouse back there. I didn't see you.' He goes, 'Thanks for everything.'' And while it was an otherwise normal exchange for the musicians, Zakk shared it gave him the closure he needed. 'It was just us talking, saying, 'I love you, buddy.'' he recalled. 'That was it.' More from E! Still, the musician admitted he didn't feel as focused on his performance but rather, 'making sure that Oz was okay.' 'It was definitely pretty amazing,' Zakk recalled. 'Seeing Oz onstage when Sabbath got done, that's the last time I saw him.' In Zakk's eyes, that final memory with the musician was perfect. 'I'm blessed and grateful,' he continued. 'Anything other than that would be selfish.' Indeed, Zakk and Ozzy remained close confidants despite their ebbs and flows of working together, with the 58-year-old always considering Ozzy one of his closest mentors. 'Oz was just the best,' he said. 'I have my father, who was a World War II veteran; and then Ozzy, who was almost like an older brother. There was almost a 20-year age gap between us. With our relationship, there was the fun drinking—but if I ever needed advice, I could talk to him.' In addition to his millions of fans, Ozzy touched many stars' hearts.
