The MINI Countryman E John Cooper Works (JCW) Pack has been introduced in India recently as the brand new flagship model of the BMW owned brand. The fresh JCW Edition adds a sporty look to both the exterior and interior of the quirky electric SUV, and will be positioned at the top of the variant list. Interestingly, the new MINI Countryman E JCW Pack will be limited to just 20 units and will go on sale online-only for a nominal price of ₹ 1.5 lakh. Deliveries will start from June 10, 2025, onwards. Here's what it has to offer.

Mahindra BE 6, XEV 9e Pack Two EV deliveries to start by July-end

Mahindra will commence deliveries of the Pack Two variants of its BE 6 and XEV 9e electric SUVs from the end of July 2025. The updated models are now available with two battery options—59 kWh and a new 79 kWh pack—offering city driving ranges of 400 km and 500 km, respectively. The BE 6 Pack Two is priced at ₹21,90,000 for the 59 kWh variant and ₹23,50,000 for the 79 kWh version. The XEV 9e is priced at ₹24,90,000 and ₹26,50,000 for the respective variants (all prices ex-showroom). Prices do not include charger and installation costs; customers can opt for either a 7.2 kW or 11.2 kW charger at additional cost. According to Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations data, Mahindra's share in the electric passenger vehicle market rose to 21.4 per cent in May 2025 as it sold 2,632 vehicles, up from 7.4 per cent in May 2024 when it sold 594 vehicles. Mahindra's Electric Origin range, which includes the BE 6 and XEV 9e, has been recording consistent volumes. According to the company, one Mahindra electric SUV is sold every 10 minutes. The BE 6 and XEV 9e Pack Two variants include Level 2 ADAS, all-wheel disc brakes, electronic parking brake, six airbags, and a high-stiffness bodyshell. Cabin features include a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system with Dolby Atmos, dual-zone climate control, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and wireless charging. The XEV 9e features a coast-to-coast triple-screen dashboard, while the BE 6 comes with a digital cockpit. Other features include adaptive cruise control, multiple drive modes, single-pedal driving, and connected car functions such as scheduled charging and cabin pre-cooling. Both models come with leatherette interiors, a fixed glass roof, 19-inch wheels, and sequential turn indicators. The BE 6 also includes sage leatherette upholstery and an ivory roof lining, previously limited to a higher pack. Mahindra's EV portfolio is supported by a service network covering over 300 locations across India.

BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe The German car maker BMW has introduced the new generation BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe in India. The company has not revealed the launch date as yet. However, some reports say it is likely to release the model this month only. The performance-oriented model will hit the market with an updated design language, sharper edges, redesigned kidney grille, aggressive stance, eye-catching front fascia and enhanced road presence. The vehicle continues to get a fully signature-style LED headlight setup, paired with DRLs, and stylish LED tail lights that will be longer by 20 mm and taller by 25mm. It also gets new 18-inch alloy wheels (19-inch optional globally), which makes it superior in the segment. Under the hood, it is expected to use a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine with front-wheel drive that will generate impressive power and offer a rooted driving expirence. Kia Carens Clavis Electric After getting an overwhelming response from the newly launched Carens Clavis, Kia is not gearing up to introduce the electrified version of the MPV. The launch will take place on July 15, while the deliveries are likely to start in August 2025. The upcoming offering might use the same battery pack as the Creta EV, powered by 42kWh and 51.4kWh. It is likely to start somewhere around at Rs 26.90 lakh, ex-showroom. JSW MG M9 JSW MG Motor also has introduced its M9 in the Indian market. The model already made its official presence during the Mobility Global Expo 2025. It is a full all-electric MPV that is powered by a 90 kWh battery, generating a maximum power of 241 bhp. The company says it is capable of offering a range of over 400 km (WLTP). Mahindra is set to roll out deliveries for Pack Two of its BE 6 and XEV 9e electric SUVs starting end-July, further strengthening its foothold in India's EV space. With prices starting at Rs 21.90 lakh (ex-showroom), the Pack Two introduces a new 79kWh battery variant, extending real-world city range up to BE 6 and XEV 9e, will now be available with both 59kWh and 79kWh battery options.
