A pet owner who had long been wondering who was moving her dog's backyard toys around in the early hours of the morning has found her culprit, amusing viewers on TikTok in the process.
The dog's owner, who is known as @jadenicholsonxo on the platform, shared a short recording of the mysterious intruder in her garden: a fox cub without a tail, who was later revealed to be regularly accompanied by his family. The post, which captured the fox cub running around the green space with the dog's toys in their mouth, has delighted viewers online, amassing more than 122,000 views to date.
"Meet our new friends (I think they live at the bottom of our garden)," the pet owner said, while viewers could see a short clip of the fox cub now affectionately named Stumpy running around in a carefree manner with the dog's toys in tow.

"This is Stumpy (no tail), he loves stealing Rosco's toys and playing with them at 5 in the morning," she added. "I've had to block the end of the garden with ladders and a pallet until I can get a fitted gate on the side of the outhouse as Rosco's started trying to get to their den."
The caption indicated that there are several foxes living nearby, now taking turns with Rosco the dog's toys.
"Say hello to my new little mates who I'm pretty certain live at the bottom of my garden," the pet owner added in the caption. "I'm sure there are two babies! I seen two of them on the street late last night."
Viewers were also shown footage of the cubs' mother, who the pet owner shared often helps herself to the large cushions on her garden couch.
The lighthearted video has drawn a range of comments from viewers on TikTok.

Nika hopped on a popular social media trend where people show how they mask their true emotions while dealing with a crisis — and for Nika, that was the current status of the restaurant. Nika and her mother also set up a GoFundMe as a way to help the establishment from closing. I truly appreciate the transparency, even if it's done through laughter.
