Raipur: Bharatiya Janata Party's MP-MLA training camp, being held in the picturesque hill station of Manpat, entered its second day today with the programme commencing by national organizer V Satish's address, featuring multiple key sessions by Union minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and party general Vinod Tawde.
The ongoing debate over the status of Hindi in states like Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu echoed in the session with Chhattisgarh BJP in-charge Nitin Nabin addressing the issue directly, emphasizing that "Hindi is our national language and should be respected by all."
Speaking to the media on the sidelines of the training camp, Nabin said, "People from different states often express varying views on this subject. But let's be clear—Hindi is our national language.
Everyone must respect it. There should be no controversy over Hindi."
BJP Camp Focuses on Training, Targets Congress
The Manpat training camp saw continued engagement from top BJP leaders, with 10 MPs and 52 MLAs in attendance.
Nitin Nabin underlined the BJP's commitment to building a skilled cadre, saying, "BJP karyakartas are constantly sharpening their skills. This kind of structured training helps them serve better.
It's part of our party's DNA."
Taking a jab at the opposition, Nabin added, "Congress has pledged its loyalty only to corruption. That's their version of dedication and discipline."
The day featured six intensive training sessions, following seven held since the camp began Monday.
Key speakers on the second day included V Satish (national organiser), who conducted a session on 'social and geographical perspective of SC-ST outreach', CM Vishnu Deo Sai conducting a session on 'developed Chhattisgarh – opportunities and challenges (2003–2023)', Vinod Tawde (national general secretary) led training on 'Social Media Strategy and Media Engagement.'
Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan spoke on 'public conduct, time management, and oratory skills.

The camp was kicked off by BJP national president J P Nadda. All BJP MPs, MLAs, and key office-bearers from the state have assembled for the camp, which is focused on refining legislative conduct, enhancing leadership, and strengthening grassroots engagement.

The birth anniversary celebrations of the former Chief Minister of the undivided Andhra Pradesh, were held in a grand manner on Tuesday in Mavala.
