I've stared into eyes of serial killers & seen the face of evil – why cannibal Jeffrey Dahmer is the worst I ever met
Glass - a six-time Emmy award-winning producer - spoke to twisted cannibal Dahmer in a 1993 TV interview, a year before he was murdered in prison at the hands of a fellow inmate.

It was the first time the serial killer had ever given a public interview since being sentenced to life in prison for the murders of 17 men and boys, with the chat airing on CNN's Inside Edition.
Speaking to The Sun, Nancy, who has interviewed other murderers and criminals in her illustrious career, explained what made Dahmer the most chilling of all to speak to.
She said: "My first impression of Dahmer was how normal he appeared.
"It makes you think that anybody could be capable of crimes like this.
"If he had acted like a maniac, I would have been more relieved."

She said Dahmer was "not charming", but at the same time, "you wouldn't have picked him out of a crowd".
Although she doesn't know exactly why Dahmer agreed to an interview with him, she believes one reason was simply that he was "lonely" and "wanted to talk".
Getting an interview with Dahmer was no easy task.
It took more than a year and a half to secure the exclusive, building a relationship with the murderer and his family.
Nancy, now 69, said: "He wanted to talk to somebody and he had gotten used to talking to me.

Jeffrey Dahmer was the devil's best friend. I believe he killed more than 16. I can never forgive him but it's helping others that carries me through.
She made it clear there were no conditions for the interview - and that she would let him speak.

In this way, he revealed his true evil self.
Nancy said: "His mind is not like yours and mine. He was so twisted.
"The only thing that is fair is the truth. I'm not there to prosecute him, but by telling the truth, people realise what evil was there, and the intentionality of it."
She added: "I've interviewed other serial killers, and he wasn't like any of them."
Nancy recalled an interview with Joel Rifkin, who murdered between nine and 17 women between 1989 and 1993.

She said killers usually blame something or someone for pushing them to commit their crimes.
Let's not sugarcoat this, he was a psychopath. I had no sympathy whatsoever
Nancy Glass
In contrast, she said, Dahmer "put his crimes on himself. He knew what he did".
Through speaking to him, it was clear he was "sad" at his predicament.
She said: "He stayed up all night and slept all day because he couldn't face the daylight.
Although in the interview, Dahmer says sorry for his crimes, Nancy believes he "didn't understand what that meant".

She went on: "Let's not sugarcoat this. He was a psychopath. I had no sympathy whatsoever."
Throughout their interview, which resurfaced in the wake of the Netflix limited series Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, the killer never lets the mask slip, maintaining a polite, almost shy facade throughout.
For Nancy, who had read all of the depositions and knew details of Dahmer's murders too gruesome to be shared with the public, the contrast between his calm demeanour in front of her and what he had done was even more chilling.
Cannibal's warped collection of body parts
TWISTED cannibal murderer Jeffrey Dahmer kept a stomach-churning collection of body parts in his 'house of horrors', including a severed head in his freezer and a huge drum full of male torsos.
After Dahmer was eventually arrested in 1991, he admitted to saving human leftovers and freezing the parts for him to eat later.
But beyond his sick cannibalistic desires, 'The Milwaukee Monster' confessed to his grotesque plans to build a "bone altar" out of the skeletons of his victims.
Crude, childlike drawings revealed his rough designs for such an altar, including painted skulls and skeletons arranged around a black table, incense, and a chair arranged in front it for sick rituals.

"It's so baffling how anybody could be so cruel and do such terrible things," she said.
"There are crimes of passion and crimes of revenge, but this was the intentional destruction of human life.
"You ask, how could anybody be this way?"
In the aftermath of her bombshell interview, Nancy said Dahmer and his family were furious with her.

Dahmer's parents even complained to Nancy: "You've made him look like a monster!"
But as Nancy responded, Dahmer "made himself look like a monster".
She added: "I don't want a criminal to be pleased with their portrayal."
Today, Nancy is CEO of Glass Entertainment Group and has more than 22 TV shows and podcasts currently in production in the US.
In the years since she has spoken further to Dahmer's family.

"They are still unhappy with the interview," she said, "but they've come to terms with who he is."
Just a year after the interview aired, Dahmer was killed in prison by a fellow inmate in Wisconsin - where he was serving 16 life sentences for his vile murders.

World War II series based on 'one of the greatest books ever' is now available to stream
The 2019 drama series features a stellar cast and is a 'wonderful rendering of the classic satirical novel' A "must-watch" World War II series is currently available to stream. The gripping drama features an ensemble cast and is based on "one of the greatest books ever written". Telly fans are being urged to make sure to catch the mini-series while it is readily available, with viewers hailing the "amazing" cast and "wonderful" retelling of the book. Hulu series Catch-22 first appeared on the small screen in 2019, as an adaptation of Joseph Heller's celebrated 1961 novel of the same name. The series follows the journey of Captain John Yossarian (played by Christopher Abbott) and his comrades during World War II as they carry out their duties for their country. Their freedom depends on finishing a set number of operations. Yet, precisely when they approach their liberation, the mission tally is consistently raised, throwing them back into danger, reports the Express. The ensemble cast also features George Clooney as Scheisskopf, Emmy-winning Argo star Kyle Chandler as Colonel Cathcart, Godfather of Harlem's Rafi Gavron as Aarfy, Reacher's Daniel David Stewart as Milo, and Major Crimes' Graham Patrick Martin as Orr, amongst others. One TV fan gave the show a 10/10 rating on IMDb. They said: "Fantastic. The entire cast of this series is amazing. "It has all the drama and humor but not as slapstick as the movie. I've been glued to the TV since it was released. You will fall in love with these characters and the actors who portray them." A second viewer commented: "Wonderful rendering of the classic satirical novel. This is a very enjoyable watch, especially if you read the book and saw the movie. "The acting is superb and the battle scenes are realistic but not too graphically violent. I appreciate a director and writer who do not feel they must gross us out at every turn. It has a nice subtlety and that was lacking in the original movie." Another reviewer praised it as: "One of the greatest books ever written, certainly as an anti-war film." Speaking about Abbott's performance as John Yossarian, they added: "His face is so emotive and he captured the complexity of his character." Wrapping up, they wrote: "For those of you who totally missed the point and were expecting a regular war movie, did you get what the title means?" A fourth viewer hailed it as "a must watch" and said: "Perfect mix of comedy and drama. Made me laugh one second and get emotional the next." Apple TV+ free trial £8.99 £0 Apple Buy Now on Apple Product Description The phrase Catch-22 represents Captain Yossarian's hopeless efforts to escape the battlefield by pretending to be mad, only to discover that those who are truly mentally unstable will continue with their assignments. Beyond his acting role in Catch-22, Clooney worked as an executive producer on the series and directed two of the six episodes. This 2019 version of Catch-22 comes after a 1970 cinema adaptation, with the latest television series securing an 84 per cent fresh score from critics and an 82 per cent approval rating from viewers. Catch-22 is currently available for streaming on Prime Video and Apple TV+. Lucy Letby ‘acts like Queen Bee in jail' and ‘gets hair & nails done in salon with killer pal Sara Sharif's step-mum'
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) BABY killer nurse Lucy Letby acts like the "Queen Bee" in prison due to the level of privileges she's afforded - angering other prisoners, it is claimed. The 35-year-old is serving 15 life sentences after being convicted of murdering seven infants and attempting to murder seven more at the Countess of Chester Hospital. 5 Baby killer nurse Lucy Letby is serving 15 life sentences Credit: PA 5 Beinash Batool murdered her 10-year-old stepdaughter Sara Sharif Credit: AP 5 The pair are on Unit 4 of HMP Bronzefield Credit: Rex Letby is reported to have struck up a bizarre friendship with Beinash Batool, who murdered her 10-year-old stepdaughter Sara Sharif. The ex-neo natal nurse is said to be chaperoned by prison guards wherever she goes, and special areas have to be cleared whenever she wants to visit - due to the high risk of her being attacked by fellow lags. The Sun reported last week how the evil pair play card game Uno for hours in their cushy jail unit after being given 'enhanced' privileges at HMP Bronzefield, Surrey. They also have "a lot of freedom" and can buy foods that others can't - often in the kitchen making cheese toasties together. Letby allegedly moans she's the "fattest I've ever been" due to her diet of junk food, including chocolate. Sources have since told The Mirror other female murderers in Houseblock Four are fed up with Letby and Batool - who is serving 33 years - getting special treatment. They say the government's Incentives and Earned Privileges Scheme, which is designed to encourage good behaviour among prisoners, is being used by Letby who manipulates prison officers to get what she wants. The source said: "She turns on the tears at the drop of a hat, she gets all her visits in the family room which is really lovely even though she doesn't have children, it's meant to be for children and they've made it really nice. Her parents come to see her," our source said. "She walks around like she's Queen Bee, she stops other enhanced prisoners going to the library because she says 'I'm scared, I'm scared, I don't know what they'll do to me' but what about other people who are enhanced and want to use that library, they can't. "When she and Beinash go to the salon, the whole salon has to be shut down, because they are scared that other prisoners will attack them and obviously there are scissors and stuff there." The source said the pair go to the salon "at least once a month" and Letby is "always getting" her hair and nails done, adding the wing is "like an upside down world". Lucy Letby cops arrest 3 senior members of leadership team at hospital where killer nurse murdered 7 babies Letby and Batool, 31, have also reportedly been awarded "positive behaviour comments" by prison officers as part of the IEP scheme. This means they get extra perks like visiting the prison staff restaurant, called Vita Nova, which has two qualified chefs, and inmates can be trained barista and knife skills, it's claimed. And when Letby attends the likes of the salon or Vita Nova, it is closed to others to protect her, but she chooses to take Batool as her plus one guest, according to reports. One prisoner told The Mirror, there is "so much hatred for her" because she's "treated like she's Queen Bee". As reported by The Sun previously, the killer nurse works three different prison jobs and blows her wages on sweets and crisps. Letby has jobs as a laundry worker, earning £8 a week, a kitchen worker - another £8 a week - and a library worker. Lag sources say she's put on so much weight "you wouldn't recognise her". Unit 4 of 527-inmate Bronzefield, which is run by private firm Sodexo. Letby and Batool both have TVs with Freeview channels and a DVD player, along with books and films, which they can order from the library. Others on the unit include Sian Hedges, jailed for life in 2024 for killing 18-month-old son Alfie Phillips. Shamed prison officer Linda de Sousa Abreu, who romped with a lag, was also held there until her release last month. Letby — convicted of the murders of seven babies and attempted murders of seven more while a neonatal nurse — has regular legal meetings as she plans her appeal. Batool was sentenced last December for the murder of her tortured stepdaughter. Sara's dad, Urfan Sharif, is serving at least 40 years for murder after she was beaten to death at the couple's home in Woking, Surrey. 5 Ten-year-old Sara Sharif was murdered by her parents Credit: PA

Shaolin Temple leader under investigation on suspicion of embezzling funds
The notice said multiple departments are conducting a joint investigation against Shi Yongxin, and relevant findings would be announced to the public in due course. The fame of the Shaolin Temple, based in the central Chinese province of Henan, has gone beyond a religious institution. Shi Yongxin, third from right, is alleged to have committed several offences (Chinatopix via AP) It is also famous for its martial arts culture, or kung fu, which has been referenced in many movies and TV dramas, including the 1982 film The Shaolin Temple, starring martial arts superstar Jet Li. The news about Shi Yongxin, whose original name Liu Yingcheng, ranked top on Chinese search engine Baidu and X-like social media platform Weibo on Sunday night. Local media reported that the abbot had been hit by scandalous accusations in the past, including claims that he fathered several children and embezzled money. According to news outlet Caixin Global, provincial investigation reports exonerated him of all charges in 2016. Shi Yongxin entered Shaolin Temple in 1981 and became its abbot in 1999, according to the temple's website. Xinhua in 2015 reported that he was known as a 'CEO monk,' as one of the first Chinese monks to obtain an MBA, and he had sparked controversy for developing commercial operations like lucrative kung fu shows and merchandise. Earlier on Sunday, Chinese local media outlets reported that authorities had dismissed an online notice claiming Shi Yongxin was intercepted by authorities while trying to flee with his mistresses and children as fake.
