Lizzie Cundy shows off major style transformation as she debuts new natural 'mumsy' hairstyle ahead of son's Venice wedding - after Jeff Bezos' epic nuptials in the Italian city

Daily Maila day ago
Lizzie Cundy turned heads on Friday night with a sizzling new makeover – just in time for her son Josh's wedding.
The former WAG, 57, showed off her jaw-dropping transformation on social media, flaunting a fresh new hairdo and glamorous outfit as she prepared for the huge family milestone.
Lizzie's eldest son Josh, 29, is set to get married later this month in celebrity-hotspot Venice - aptly, just weeks after Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez said 'I do' in the Italian city.
Lizzie shares Josh and her younger son James, 26, with her ex-husband, Chelsea star Jason Cundy, who she was married to from 1994 to 2012.
The proud mother has been busy getting ready for the destination wedding and took to Instagram on Friday to share a video of her glamorous pre-wedding makeover.
Lizzie strutted through a hair salon dramatically revealing her glossy, salon-fresh locks, as she ditched her hair extension in favour of a more natural 'mumsy' look.
Known for her long waist-length tresses, Lizzie rocked a new bouncy blowout as she instead styled her natural locks at shoulder length.
In a caption, she excitedly shared: 'Wedding hair ready.'
The ageless beauty put on a very leggy display in a white blazer dress, complete with bold gold buttons.
She sported a pair of white ankle-strap heels and oversized sunglasses, as she struck sultry poses to the camera as Destiny's Child's Can You Keep Up played over the top.
The Jeremy Vine regular has remained a fixture on the celebrity scene since her days as a WAG.
She was married to former Chelsea and Spurs defender Jason, 55, for 17 years before their split in 2012.
They got married in 1994, after meeting at a nightclub in Richmond, London, but split after Lizzie discovered Jason's affair with opera singer Hannah Pedley.
Despite their rocky break-up, the pair are said to be on good terms.
Lizzie recently opened up about the realities of being a WAG in the noughties as she shared the 'lonely and isolating' reality of her split from her footballer ex.
In the BBC documentary titled Sex After Celebrity, Lizzie revealed the difficulties she faced with being in the public eye at the height of her fame.
She said: 'It was the most awful time when my marriage split up, not just because it was a marriage splitting up and family was being split up, it was because it was on the front page of the papers.
'There's a picture of me in a swimsuit, looking over my shoulder, and it was all about my marriage split, and I didn't even know about it myself. And it was the reaction of other people as well.
'Friends I knew didn't know what to say. The mums at school would cross the road from me because they were embarrassed.
'They didn't really know what to say. So it actually became quite a lonely existence.'
She continued: 'And not knowing who to trust, actually doubting friends, thinking, "Could they have put that story in?" or, you know, "I only told that person, so how did it get in?"
'And quizzing and questioning people that you've known a lifetime. So that side was awful.'
Following the breakdown of her high-profile marriage, Lizzie found it hard to go back into the dating pool.
She explained: 'It's difficult when you've been in a very high-profile relationship and then go into dating, because you have a trust issue. I certainly did.
'And I've actually been on a date where we're sitting there and I've seen him push his phone, and I thought, "I think you're recording me."
'So I just said it out, "Is your phone on? Are you recording?" And he just went, "Yeah..."'
Fast forward to present day, the beauty has found a new lease of life for dating, as she described it was 'great now'.
She went on to date England rugby player Danny Cipriani and has since enjoyed some other relationships out of the public eye.

Bond Girl girl Caterina Murino, 47, reveals she is pregnant after IVF heartbreak

Former Bond girl Caterina Murino has revealed she is expecting her first child at 47, after two heartbreaking miscarriages and a gruelling IVF journey. The Italian actress, who shot to global fame alongside Daniel Craig in his 007 debut Casino Royale, confirmed she is pregnant with a baby boy, due in September, the same month she will turn 48. Caterina, who has been in a relationship with French lawyer Edouard Rigaud for eight years, admitted the road to motherhood hasn't been easy. 'At my age, I had to ask medicine to help nature,' she said, referring to the IVF treatment she underwent. She added: 'You don't always decide when the right time to become a mother comes.' The star bravely spoke about her previous miscarriages and described her fertility journey as 'trying,' but said she is now looking forward to the new chapter with joy and gratitude. Caterina also recalled the intense public reaction to her steamy scene with Craig in Casino Royale, where she played the seductive Solange. She revealed that one fan's jealousy even led to a terrifying death threat. 'When he kissed me in the film… it was so sexy, so real,' she said. 'It must have looked very real, because among the many fan letters I got was a death threat from someone who was jealous.' Despite the darker side of fame, the actress says she remains proud of her role in the iconic spy franchise and is now focused on the biggest role of her life: becoming a mum. It was British theatre and actors (she regards Kenneth Branagh and Daniel Craig as 'gods') that inspired Caterina to become an actress. She grew up in Sardinia and originally intended to become a doctor, but when she failed to get into medical school, she entered the Miss Italy contest and came fourth, before becoming a model. She shot to fame in 2006 when she starred as a Bond girl alongside Daniel Craig in Casino Royale. The star played Solange who Bond seduces before she is tortured to death later in the film. The actress was posing up a storm with her beloved dog on the red carpet, before it escaped from her and ran loose. Patroness of the festival Caterina struck a slew of poses with her sausage dog, until it ran off during the film screening. In a series of hilarious moments, Caterina managed to catch up with the dog and put its leash back on. The star was captured trying to reach out to the cheeky pet as it tried to wander during the iconic event. How does IVF work? In-vitro fertilisation, known as IVF, is a medical procedure in which a woman has an already-fertilised egg inserted into her womb to become pregnant. It is used when couples are unable to conceive naturally, and a sperm and egg are removed from their bodies and combined in a laboratory before the embryo is inserted into the woman. Once the embryo is in the womb, the pregnancy should continue as normal. The procedure can be done using eggs and sperm from a couple or those from donors. Guidelines from the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) recommends that IVF should be offered on the NHS to women under 43 who have been trying to conceive through regular unprotected sex for two years. People can also pay for IVF privately, which costs an average of £3,348 for a single cycle, according to figures published in January 2018, and there is no guarantee of success. The NHS says success rates for women under 35 are about 29 per cent, with the chance of a successful cycle reducing as they age. Around eight million babies are thought to have been born due to IVF since the first ever case, British woman Louise Brown, was born in 1978. Chances of success The success rate of IVF depends on the age of the woman undergoing treatment, as well as the cause of the infertility (if it's known). Younger women are more likely to have a successful pregnancy. IVF isn't usually recommended for women over the age of 42 because the chances of a successful pregnancy are thought to be too low. Between 2014 and 2016 the percentage of IVF treatments that resulted in a live birth was: 29 per cent for women under 35 23 per cent for women aged 35 to 37 15 per cent for women aged 38 to 39 9 per cent for women aged 40 to 42 3 per cent for women aged 43 to 44 2 per cent for women aged over 44

Fans flocked to her comment section to praise the brunette beauty on her incredible pictures with one writing: 'A truly ICON!!!!' whilst another said 'so cute and beautiful'. It comes as Dua has also been quietly rocking a giant sparkler on her finger for months, but only confirmed her engagement to Callum in a recent Vogue interview. The hitmaker admitted she never saw herself as the marrying type, saying: 'I've never been someone who's really thought about a wedding, or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be.' It comes after some fans have been poking fun at the pop star's jet set lifestyle. The singer who is with the The Boys in the Boat actor Callum Turner, 35, often shares her glamorous vacations with her followers and shows the tow of them traveling the world. Despite currently being in Spain, most recently, the pair headed to Italy, where they were spotted soaking up the sun on a stunning beach. But by documenting her lavish trips online, some users have cracked jokes about her nonstop traveling. Many have even wondered where she and Callum would go for their honeymoon since the couple had already been 'everywhere.' Some even joked that she might take it to the next extreme and head to space. Taking to X they wrote: 'This girl has already traveled all over the world, where are they going for their honeymoon to make it memorable? Mars?' 'Their honeymoon is gonna be three years long', 'For their honeymoon, they will discover Atlantis', 'LMAO right?!? Girl has literally been EVERYWHERE' 'Pre-honeymoon in Mount Everest, main honeymoon on Mars, [and] post-honeymoon in Titanic wreckage'. Dua is well-aware of the travel jokes and previously made a statement about it with British Vogue. 'I'm not always on holiday, I just make everything I do feel like a holiday,' she told the outlet last month. Elsewhere in the interview, Dua discussed her family plans, saying she's concerned about how having children will fit in with her career as a pop star. 'I'd love to have kids one day,' she said. 'But it's like the constant question of when would there ever be a good time – how it would fit in with my job and how it would work if I went on tour, and how much time out I'd have to take. 'I think it's just one of those things that's going to happen when it happens. I love kids, but I think there's so much more to raising a child than just loving children.' Confirming her engagement to Callum, Dua said: 'Yeah, we're engaged. It's very exciting. 'This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don't know, be best friends forever - it's a really special feeling.'

Cardi B gets a Kim Kardashian makeover amid bitter Offset divorce

Cardi B got a Kim Kardashian makeover as she flaunted her curves in a striking blue ensemble during a trip to Paris over the 4th of July weekend. The WAP singer, 32 - who is currently embroiled in a dramatic divorce battle with estranged husband Offset - wore a mini dress with a turtleneck and long sleeves in a brilliant shade of blue. The look was reminiscent of a figure-hugging Balenciaga gown that the SKIMS founder donned while attending the Vanity Fair Oscars party in 2022. But unlike Kim's gown, the hem of Cardi's dress was extremely short and her frock had a dazzling embellishment on the left hip. The rapper's raven hair was parted down the middle and styled in a sleek, low ponytail — which was also similar to Kim's 2022 look. Cardi left two long pieces of hair down, which framed her face and cascaded down her torso. Cardi B, 32, got a Kim Kardashian makeover as she flaunted her curves in a striking blue ensemble during a trip to Paris over the 4th of July weekend Her makeup was glammed up and comprised of a warm blush to her cheekbones while a nude-colored tint was worn on her lips. At the Vanity Fair Oscars bash three years earlier, Kardashian had also done her makeup with similar shades. Cardi B's outing in Paris comes shortly after she announced her long awaited second album Am I the Drama? on June 23. Am I the Drama? follows the success of the rapper's 2018 debut Invasion of Privacy, which won the Grammy for Best Rap Album in 2019. The album drops on September 19, and in addition to her new song Outside and other new music, the 23-track record will feature her No. 1 smash hits Up and WAP with Megan Thee Stallion. In her first single from the upcoming album, Outside, she appears to diss her ex Offset, 33, with lyrics that allude to her more recent romance with NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs. Cardi shares three children with Offset — Kulture, six, Wave, three, and Blossom, eight months. 'Do you how you do me, bet you we won't speak again,' she rapped in the track. 'Favorite player from your favorite team, he in my DM.' The Girls Like You rapper - who has gone Instagram official in her romance with Diggs, now a member of the New England Patriots - rapped the lyrics 'heard them Patriots got them n*****, let me in the locker room.' Diggs has been a mainstay in the NFL for 10 seasons, playing his first five seasons with the Minnesota Vikings before playing for the Buffalo Bills and Houston Texans in the years since. The release of the track comes less than a year after the Bodak Yellow artist filed for divorce from the Migos rapper. The hip-hop mainstay, whose full name is Belcalis Almánzar, a few weeks back delved into her family's over-the-top finances and made a dig at her estranged husband Offset in a furious social media stream. In it, she said that the rapper has not pitched in a penny for the kids since their split. Cardi B added on X Spaces: 'A whole year straight, you have left me with the kids' bills. Y'all want to know what's the kids' bills? Start adding. 'My kids got their own driver — they pick them up from school, they drop them off and they take them to gymnastics and boxing classes. The kids' driver is on a retainer for $10,000 a month.' Cardi B audited the expensive tuitions she is footing the bill for, claiming Offset didn't help with any of it. 'Kulture's school this year — you didn't pay for it — that's $45,000,' said Cardi B. 'Wave's school a year is $35,000, which you didn't help me pay for it this year at all.' Cardi B's outing in Paris comes shortly after she announced her long awaited second album Am I the Drama? on June 23 Cardi said she pays a relative $3,000 weekly to babysit, and a nanny for their baby Blossom charges a daily fee of $500. Cardi B listed a series of ancillary charges she's eaten in the near-year since their bitter breakup. 'Kulture and Wave get tutoring four times a week. Each hour is $250. Count that up,' she said. 'Kulture's piano class, that's $300 an hour and she gets piano classes three times a week. 'I'm not sure how much is gymnastics and Wave's boxing classes, but I pay that too,' she added. The I Like It performer also was critical of Offset for seeking spousal support in the split, again itemizing expenses she's paid for without his assistance. 'Kiari, have I asked you for anything?' the Bodak Yellow vocalist said. 'You want spousal support so bad. 'And mind you, this is not even including food - my kids have a personal chef that comes from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. that I pay for because people in my house don't have time to cook.' Cardi also said that Offset has 'seen Blossom only like five times' since her birth last fall. She added, 'I been trying to save your face. I said you can see my kids in my house. I want my daughter to feel the love of her dad. He hasn't seen his kids since March.' Cardi B filed for divorce from the musical artist in July of 2024, and petitioned the court for full custody of their three kids. She and Offset initially wed in 2017 and had previously filed for divorce in 2020, but eventually called it off.
