Morgan Wallen's cheeky on-stage dig after Coldplay kiss cam scandal: ‘Side chick'
The Last Night singer took the stage in Arizona over the weekend, where he referenced the viral footage of married Astronomer CEO Andy Byron being caught in an intimate embrace with his HR chief, Kristin Cabot.
'Anybody in here with their side chick or whatever, I think you're safe here,' Wallen, 32, told the audience, per video shared online.
'I don't condone cheating … anymore.'
The 'affair' scandal erupted following Coldplay's concert in Boston last Wednesday, during which a kisscam scanned different couples in the audience, projecting them on the big screen.
When the camera focused on the corporate suite, Byron was seen with his arms wrapped tightly around Cabot – but it was what happened next that saw the moment become global news (and spark endless memes).
The loved-up pair, noticing the camera, appeared horrified and tried to hide from view, prompting frontman Chris Martin to joke: 'Whoa, look at these two. Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy.'
Footage captured by fans in the crowd then surfaced online, with internet sleuths quickly discovering the identities of the pair – and the fact they both appear to be married to other people.
Byron's wife, Megan Kerrigan Byron, reportedly removed his last name from her Facebook page shortly after the scandal went public, and later deleted her account entirely.

Who hasn't cheated? I have. So why do we mock the Coldplaygate couple?
Hands up, anyone who has never cheated in their life. At cards, on someone, whatever. Not many. Yeah, that checks out. Because we're human. Born to stuff up. My hand is down. I've been a cheater. The guilt I carried is gone, replaced by regret and gratitude that I learned a lot about the world and myself. And that I could absorb those lessons in private. It takes time to admit you did something shithouse. To work out what got you there, and no, the answer is rarely too many cocktails. That's probably just the tipping point. You need to go deep, be super honest. Which is why the global infamy of Jumbotrongate – the Astronomer colleagues Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot caught hugging on the big screen at a Coldplay concert – has made me reflect. Sure, and be briefly obsessed. I'm not nearly that good a person that I can't relish a gotcha moment. But what's still bugging me a week later isn't the alleged cheating or that a corporate guy is held to a higher standard of values than the US president. Loading It's the fake statement attributed to Byron's wife Megan that went viral. It channelled Xena: Warrior Princess crossed with Delta Goodrem energy. Along with a baffling reference to silk gloves, it declared, 'I am not spiralling. I am ascending.' Said nobody ever after learning their spouse took a side piece to hear Yellow live. Still, it was shared everywhere by people with big followings and platforms.

Woman at centre of Coldplay kiss cam scandal resigns
Don't miss out on the headlines from Music Tours. Followed categories will be added to My News. The woman at the centre of the Coldplay kiss cam scandal has resigned. Kristin Cabot, who was caught on the jumbotron canoodling with her boss Andy Byron at the UK band's Boston concert last Wednesday, has stepped down as the HR chief at Astronomer, a job she held for less than a year. The New York-based tech company confirmed the news in a statement on Thursday, US time. 'I can confirm that Kristin Cabot is no longer with Astronomer, she has resigned,' a spokesperson for the company told Page Six. It comes days after Byron also resigned from his job as the firm's CEO. 'As stated previously, Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met,' a rep for the tech company said on Saturday. 'Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Directors has accepted. The Board will begin a search for our next Chief Executive as Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy continues to serve as interim CEO.' Picture: LinkedIn After the pair infamously scrambled to hide from the concert kiss cam, and subsequently made headlines around the world, Astronomer announced it was launching a formal investigation into the scandal and placed Cabot and Byron on leave. Coldplay frontman Chris Martin was left bewildered by their actions on the big screen, joking onstage the pair were either 'really shy or having an affair', as details swiftly emerged about their respective marriages. Byron, who is estimated to have a net worth of $A76 million, is married to a woman named Megan Kerrigan Byron, who has since removed his last name from her Facebook and deactivated her social media accounts. She is yet to comment publicly. Megan Kerrigan Byron is married to Astronomer CEO Andy Byron. Picture: Facebook Andy Byron has resigned as CEO of the AI-centric New York firm Astronomer. Picture: Astronomer Cabot, for her part, appears to be married to Privateer Rum's CEO Andrew Cabot, since they share the same last name and are co-owners of the same house in New Hampshire. She divorced her first husband, Kenneth Thornby, in 2022, according to Massachusetts court records. Neither Byron nor Cabot have commented on the affair allegations. Meanwhile, the fate of both their respective marriages remains unknown. Cabot was hired as the company's human resources officer in November 2024, while Byron held the position of CEO from July 2023.
