'We have a director attached now, and the script is done, and Sony Studios is going to be producing it. I can't say who he is, but we are very lucky to have him, and he is a die-hard fan,' Jack said.
The news comes shortly after Black Sabbath's reunion gig over the weekend, marking the last live performance of Ozzy Osbourne. Over 40,000 fans came to see the 'War Pigs' singer's swan song on July 5.
The Back To The Beginning show at Birmingham's Villa Park also featured sets of Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Slayer, Tool, Pantera, Alice in Chains, and more.
Since his Parkinson's diagnosis in 2019, Osbourne has been struggling with his physical health. While the 76-year-old intends to keep recording music, his days performing on stage are now officially over.
According to his son, fans can expect a 'raw' film about the Prince of Darkness, which will 'lay it all out.'
As of now, the movie has not been officially approved yet, but Jack is optimistic about the project's progress: 'If the evil overlords of Hollywood give us the green light, we could be filming in the spring, so maybe it will be out by the summer of 2027.'
