The app has been launched to make sharing Aadhaar more secure and convenient.
With the help of this app, any user will be able to verify their identity digitally.
There will be no need to submit a photocopy of the Aadhaar card anymore.
Until now, people had to submit photocopies of their Aadhaar card at various places for identity verification. How to Install: Check steps here
For the convenience of the users, we have mentioned the steps via which they can install the app: Go to the Google Play Store on your phone and search for 'Aadhaar.'
Check the list of Aadhaar-related apps.
From the list, you can install the second app shown. There are two important things to keep in mind here:
First, install the app on the same phone that has the SIM card linked to your Aadhaar. This is similar to how payment apps work. Second, before installing, make sure that you are downloading the correct app developed by UIDAI. Here's how to use it: First, select your preferred language.
Then, enter your Aadhaar number.
After that, you will be asked to send a message. For this step, it's important that the phone has a SIM card linked to your Aadhaar number, as the message will be sent from that number.
Next, you'll see the face authentication option. You'll need to position your face within the circle on the screen to verify your identity.
After that, you will be asked to set a 6-digit PIN.
Once you confirm the PIN, you'll be logged in to the application.

This tech giant to sack 24000 employees, halt work on…, not Ratan Tata's TCS or Narayana Murthy's Infosys, it is…
Infosys founder Narayana Murthy and late Ratan Tata- File image Intel is undergoing major and challenging restructuring, announcing plans to lay off around 24,000 employees this year, nearly one in four of its workforce as of the end of 2024. The announcement was made during the company's Q2 2025 earnings report. Intel Corp. is shedding thousands of workers and cutting expenses as its new CEO works to revive the fortunes of the struggling chipmaker that helped launch Silicon Valley but has fallen behind rivals like Nvidia Corp. Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan's Memo To Employees In a memo to employees, CEO Lip-Bu Tan said Intel plans to end the year with 75,000 workers, down 31% from 108,900 employees at the end of last year, through layoffs and attrition. The company previously announced a 15% workforce reduction. 'I know the past few months have not been easy. We are making hard but necessary decisions to streamline the organization, drive greater efficiency and increase accountability at every level of the company,' Tan wrote. In addition, Intel will scrap previously planned projects in Germany and Poland and also move assembly and test operations in Costa Rica to larger sites in Vietnam and Malaysia. Costa Rica will remain a 'home to key engineering teams and corporate functions,' Tan said in the memo. In the U.S., the company said it will 'further' slow construction of a semiconductor plant in Ohio. What Was Missed By Intel? Founded in 1968 at the start of the PC revolution, Intel missed the technological shift to mobile computing triggered by Apple's 2007 release of the iPhone, and it's lagged more nimble chipmakers. Intel's troubles have been magnified since the advent of artificial intelligence, a booming field where the chips made by once-smaller rival Nvidia have become tech's hottest commodity. The Santa Clara, California-based company's market cap was $98.71 billion as of the market close on Thursday, compared with Nvidia's $4.24 trillion. (With Input From Agencies)

Auto mutation of properties in Andhra Pradesh from August 1
With the aim of streamlining urban governance, the Government of Andhra Pradesh has unveiled an instant auto-mutation system to automate property ownership updates during registration. From August 1, the system will be rolled out in 17 Municipal Corporations to eliminate bureaucratic hurdles and bring speed, transparency, and efficiency to property transactions. Developed jointly by the Municipal Administration & Urban Development Department and the Registrations & Stamps Department, the system integrates property registration with mutation, requiring no separate application by property owners. Once the buyer clears applicable dues and mutation fee, ownership records are automatically updated in the municipal databases. The initiative replaces the previously cumbersome manual process that involved multiple office visits, delays, and document duplication. The system supports residential and vacant land transactions, including part ownership transfers. 'Citizen-first reform' Principal Secretary S. Suresh Kumar on Friday called it a 'citizen-first reform,' noting the system's potential to enhance data accuracy, tax compliance, and urban planning. Aadhaar verification, PAN integration, geo-tagging, and electricity data syncing were among the digital features supporting the transformation. Public awareness campaigns and staff training programmes were already underway, positioning Andhra Pradesh as a national leader in urban digital governance, he added.
