Dachshunds are such fun and sweet pups. With their short legs, long bodies, and eyes that scream "I know I'm cute," Dachshunds are pure personality in fun-sized packaging. These small pooches can come in all types of colors and patterns, but the one you're about to meet has to be one of the most unusual-looking Dachshunds we have ever seen.
Just look at this little sausage sweetie who has a split-colored face. He's too cute for words.
One person asked, "What an interesting pattern on a Dachshund. Is that considered a dapple? So cute!" The video creator explained that Slinke is more of a piebald.
Dogster explains, "To be recognized as a piebald Dachshund, the dog must have colored flecks or spots on a white undercoat. Those with no markings on the body, and only markings on the head, are called extreme piebald and are not officially recognized. If one has blue eyes, it is not considered a true piebald Dachshund, either. They can only have dark-colored eyes."

I have a relative who has always been a Doxie mom, and Dachshunds are fiercely loyal and often bond hard with one person. They can be stubborn but are also smart — and usually food-motivated enough to learn a trick or two (or at least pretend to, if snacks are involved). In short: Dachshunds are equal parts adorable, ridiculous, and bold. They're the lowriders of the dog world, and they know they're iconic.
Although piebald Dachshunds are extremely cute and often a popular breed choice, they may have some increased health risks compared to their other Dachshund counterparts. Some of these include eye issues, such as cataracts or glaucoma, as well as skin allergies and sensitivity to extreme temperatures.

The Sandman is returning for its second and final season this month, and there are a few new faces joining the Endless family. Season one of the acclaimed Netflix fantasy drama, adapted from Neil Gaiman's comic book series, followed Dream (played by Tom Sturridge) as he escaped captivity after over a century of being held prisoner. Also new this season is Barry Sloane's Destruction, the Endless sibling who 'abandoned his realm'. To that end, here's our daily Wordle guide with some hints and the answer for Sunday's puzzle (#1,478). It may be that you're a Wordle newcomer and you're not completely sure how to play the game. We're here to help with that too. Wordle is a deceptively simple daily word game that first emerged in 2021. There is one five-letter word to deduce every day by process of elimination. The daily word is the same for everyone. Wordle blew up in popularity in late 2021 after creator Josh Wardle made it easy for players to share an emoji-based grid with their friends and followers that detailed how they fared each day. The game's success spurred dozens of clones across a swathe of categories and formats. The New York Times purchased Wordle in early 2022 for an undisclosed sum. The publication said that players collectively played Wordle 5.3 billion times in 2024. So, it's little surprise that Wordle is one of the best online games and puzzles you can play daily. To start playing Wordle, you simply need to enter one five-letter word. The game will tell you how close you are to that day's secret word by highlighting letters that are in the correct position in green. Letters that appear in the word but aren't in the right spot will be highlighted in yellow. If you guess any letters that are not in the secret word, the game will gray those out on the virtual keyboard. However, you can still use those letters in subsequent guesses. You'll only have six guesses to find each day's word, though you still can use grayed-out letters to help narrow things down. It's also worth remembering that letters can appear in the secret word more than once. Wordle is free to play on the NYT's website and apps, as well as on Meta Quest headsets and Discord. The game refreshes at midnight local time. If you log into a New York Times account, you can track your stats, including the all-important win streak. If you have a NYT subscription that includes full access to the publication's games, you don't have to stop after a single round of Wordle. You'll have access to an archive of more than 1,400 previous Wordle games. So if you're a relative newcomer, you'll be able to go back and catch up on previous editions. According to the actress and film producer have found a buyer for their Beverly Hills mansion as of June 30, 2025, just two months after it went on the market. The original homeowners that Alba and Warren bought the property from didn't share the former couple's design taste, but Alba thought the home's bones were exactly what she was looking for. So, rather than wait for the buyers to stage the home, the businesswoman persuaded the family to move forward with a sale and worked closely with mother-son design team Kathleen and Tommy Clements of Clements Design to bring her vision to life. The California 'dream house,' as Alba so affectionately described it to Architectural Digest sits on 1.82 acres of land adorned with greenery and mature trees. The home boasts seven bedrooms and eight-and-a-half bathrooms; its primary suite is complete with a fireplace, a ginormous walk-in closet, a spa-like bathroom with a glassed-in soaking tub and shower, plus a sitting room overlooking the grounds. Additional features worth highlighting include a massive yet cozy home theater, a library, a sprawling, kid-friendly backyard with a shaded patio, an in-ground pool, and stylish cabanas for lounging, a gourmet kitchen with a breakfast room, and reclaimed wood and rare marble/stone throughout the rooms.
