Calico Kitten Won't Give Mom a Minute's Peace and Parents Everywhere Get It

Calico Kitten Won't Give Mom a Minute's Peace and Parents Everywhere Get It originally appeared on Parade Pets. Being a parent is nonstop. Especially if you have a little one, you can count on fielding demands nearly 24/7. In a hilarious video that pretty much sums up the early days of parenting, a Calico kitten won't let her mama rest for a single second. From wanting to nurse continuously to trying to sit on her head, this kitten is wearing out her poor mom, and that gal's face says it all. "Look who's nursing as usual," the kitten's human mom said. "Hi, little Potato. Going back for more." Viewers are loving watching these two and think that kitty is aiming to grow up fast. "Mom, Mom, Mom, look at me, Mom, Mom. She's gotta get as chonky as possible," one viewer wrote. "Mama just cannot get a break from you, can she?" We hear the clip's narrator say. Parents can relate. "I have a Velcro baby like that, too! We get no peace 😂😂😂😂."How about that mama's expression? For those who've been watching this little cat family, they recognize that look. "Mama's had a hundred-yard stare in every video," one wrote. "She's a good mama to these beautiful babies," another said. She really is! Look at the love and affection she has for her baby. 🐶🐾🐾So patient and kind. It's tough to imagine having your baby climbing on your head or nibbling your ears and not losing your cool! But this mama cat doesn't mind a bit. Of course, it's probably animal and maternal instinct that tells this cat mom just how much her baby needs her. Not only do kittens rely on their moms for food, warmth, and protection, but also, their mother is their first teacher. They basically "learn" how to be a cat from watching their mama. With that in mind, it's so nice to see mama and baby bonding like this. They're safe and have the time and space to be together, which will ensure this kitten gets a great start in life. That said, maybe Potato could let her mom catch a bit of rest — even a cat nap would probably go a long way to restoring her mama's energy. Then she'll be ready to play, another important skill kittens need in their lives! Sweet Blind Kitten with ‘Marshmallow Mittens' Does the Biggest Jumps and It's Too Cute

Sweet Blind Kitten with 'Marshmallow Mittens' Does the Biggest Jumps and It's Too Cute originally appeared on Parade Pets. Blind cats can be so happy. You might think life would be harder on them, or that they're not as happy because of their disability, but it's just not true! Blind cats can live long, healthy, and incredibly happy lives, no matter if they're born that way or go blind later in life. On Sunday, June 29th, one adorable little blind kitten captured everyone's hearts. Not only is he blind and happy as can be, but his little paws look like they were dipped in a jar of fluff! In case you were wondering, he uses those marshmallow mittens for evil: Every single thing about @hoiteytoitey's video is absolutely perfect to me. The big jumps, the music, the fact that his name is "Stamp." If I could have him in my life, I would!Stamp is only a foster in this house, but he's having a great time and can stay as long as he needs. He's actually currently there with his sister, Zip, and they're looking to be adopted out together into a loving forever home! They were found back in April and have been there since. Neither of these cats were born blind: when they were found, they had severe health issues that included eye infections. They did everything they could, and while they were ultimately able to save one of Zip's eyes, both of Stamp's were removed. He's adjusted perfectly well, and honestly, he doesn't seem to miss them. He and his sister still get into all of the trouble in the world, and when Stamp "detects" a threat, that's when he pulls out all the stops. Hops for days, this guy! Don't worry, though. He apprehends threats like it's nobody's business: If you'd like to adopt Stamp and Zip, they're currently available! They cannot be separated, so you will have to adopt the pair, but that's perfect. Between them they've got a single eye, a single brain cell, and a whole lot of heart! 🐶🐾🐾 Sweet Blind Kitten with 'Marshmallow Mittens' Does the Biggest Jumps and It's Too Cute first appeared on Parade Pets on Jul 2, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade Pets on Jul 2, 2025, where it first appeared.

Doodle Comes Back from Groomer with Mullet and Beard, and He's a Full-on Redneck Icon

Doodle Comes Back from Groomer with Mullet and Beard, and He's a Full-on Redneck Icon originally appeared on Parade Pets. We just love pet parents with a sense of humor, and one Doodle dog has just that. Dad brought this pup to get his hair d one, and he strutted out of the groomer's rocking a full-blown mullet and the kind of scruffy beard that screams "backwoods legend." We're talking business in the front, party in the back. He looks like he's about to shotgun a can of dog-friendly beer and start a backyard band with the neighbor's Basset Hound. Just watch this to see what I mean. This pooch is doing both Travis Tritt and Billy Ray Cyrus proud. The hilarious caption reads, "My husband is NEVER allowed to pick the dog's haircut ever again!" And I'm with one person in the comments who said, "Ma'am, your husband should be the ONLY one picking the dog's haircut moving forward." The comments on this hilarious video do not disappoint, and someone else added, "The dog is paying child support to three baby mommas and has a 400 credit score." Another person added, "He absolutely looks ready for some summer tailgating parties. I think you should get him a Budweiser bandana and just lean into it!" If you're looking for a new groomer for your own fur baby, here are some tips to hopefully make the process go smoother. Just like with any other dog service (veterinary care, boarding, doggy daycare), your first course of action is to ask your friends and family where they take their dog. If they trust their usual groomer to do a good job, it's a great sign for your pet. Here's another pup rocking the business in the front and the party in the back! So many groomers have social media, so check Instagram and Facebook to see if they have a social media page where you can see their work and read reviews from their clients. If you're nervous, schedule an appointment for your pup to have a bath, or ask for a consult. Like with any business, ask questions. Ask what they do if your dog is nervous, how they handle nail trims, if anal gland expressing is extra — all those things. If they are just bathing your pup, you can get a chance to know them and check out their vibe before you trust them to cut your dog's hair. Be very specific about what you want. If you want a teddy cut, ask for it. If you don't want your pooch to be shaved, tell them. Bring photos of cuts your dog has received previously that you like, or photos from similar cuts on the same breed.

Dachshund with Split-Color Face Is Such a Half-and-Half Cutie

Dachshund with Split-Color Face Is Such a Half-and-Half Cutie originally appeared on Parade Pets. Dachshunds are such fun and sweet pups. With their short legs, long bodies, and eyes that scream "I know I'm cute," Dachshunds are pure personality in fun-sized packaging. These small pooches can come in all types of colors and patterns, but the one you're about to meet has to be one of the most unusual-looking Dachshunds we have ever seen. Just look at this little sausage sweetie who has a split-colored face. He's too cute for words. One person asked, "What an interesting pattern on a Dachshund. Is that considered a dapple? So cute!" The video creator explained that Slinke is more of a piebald. Dogster explains, "To be recognized as a piebald Dachshund, the dog must have colored flecks or spots on a white undercoat. Those with no markings on the body, and only markings on the head, are called extreme piebald and are not officially recognized. If one has blue eyes, it is not considered a true piebald Dachshund, either. They can only have dark-colored eyes." Here's another clip of this striking pup. I have a relative who has always been a Doxie mom, and Dachshunds are fiercely loyal and often bond hard with one person. They can be stubborn but are also smart — and usually food-motivated enough to learn a trick or two (or at least pretend to, if snacks are involved). In short: Dachshunds are equal parts adorable, ridiculous, and bold. They're the lowriders of the dog world, and they know they're iconic. Although piebald Dachshunds are extremely cute and often a popular breed choice, they may have some increased health risks compared to their other Dachshund counterparts. Some of these include eye issues, such as cataracts or glaucoma, as well as skin allergies and sensitivity to extreme temperatures. I think we can all agree that Slinke is one of the cutest Dachshunds we have ever seen! 🐶SIGN UP to get 'pawsitivity' delivered right to your inbox with inspiring & entertaining stories about our furry & feathered friends🐾🐾 Dachshund with Split-Color Face Is Such a Half-and-Half Cutie first appeared on Parade Pets on Jul 1, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade Pets on Jul 1, 2025, where it first appeared.

Jack Russell Terrier's Pure Love for His Son Is Giving People the Feels

Jack Russell Terrier's Pure Love for His Son Is Giving People the Feels originally appeared on Parade Pets. We recently celebrated Father's Day and so many well-deserving dads got a special shout out. The patriarch of the family is a key figure in a child's development and often becomes a strong role model. This can be the case with canines as well. Bruce the Jack Russell Terrier is a prime example of a loving and caring papa. In the TikTok from @theflyingbruce, the doggie dad was seated next to his son, Tato, in the backseat of a car. Bruce didn't try to hide the affection he had for his pup. "Been watching him love his son every day for 6 years now," the onscreen text read as Bruce lovingly licked Tato while they were riding in the car together. Their beautiful bond was almost contagious, where the text continued, "There's something deeply healing about seeing a gentle caring father with his son." Apparently, Bruce stepped up to the role of awesome dad from day one. The pooch parent shows consistent love and affection while also serving as protector of his young one. "Bruce is the kind of dad we all deserve. Bruce always makes sure Tato is clean and loved and warm and barks at him if he's doing something dangerous," the caption shared of the canine dad's top-notch parenting skills. It looks like Bruce is also a fun father. A TikTok post from back in 2022 showed how the two have spend the day, where they frolicked in a river together before running off in sync to play. The father and son duo look like best buddies. Mama dogs are typically regarded as the doting parent and instinctively know their puppies. Dogs that are dads are seen as more indifferent and non-nurturing. Canine fathers are usually kept from the mom and newborns until the pups are about four weeks old and weaned from the there are those exceptions of warm and fuzzy fathers like Bruce, who seem born to be a dad. Bruce and Tato clearly have an unbreakable bond. 🐶🐾🐾 Jack Russell Terrier's Pure Love for His Son Is Giving People the Feels first appeared on Parade Pets on Jun 24, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade Pets on Jun 24, 2025, where it first appeared.
