Stunning DAZN presenter sparks controversy over her outfit during Club World Cup broadcast

Daily Mail12 hours ago
A DAZN presenter has come in for criticism on social media after fans took exception to the outfit she posted on Instagram.
Eleonora Incardona, 34, gave numerous striking poses in a striped cream suit that was complete with a matching bra as she prepared for television coverage of PSG 's semi-final against Bayern Munich at Camping World Stadium in Orland, Florida.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday afternoon, she wrote: 'Bye bye Orlando. Heading to New York City '.
Another picture showed her smiling alongside Ainhoa Perez, who has become a familiar face on DAZN for their coverage of LaLiga.
Reacting to Incardona's post, detractors criticised what they perceived to be as an unprofessional appearance from the Italian.
One user wrote: 'I remember your recent interview where you said you are tired of being judged just because of your physical appearance.
'Of course if you show up to the pitch wearing a bra'.
A second added: '[You're] working not at the beach. Out of place.'
A third commented: 'You're one of the reasons why this competition is worth following'.
While the Club World Cup has come in for criticism for being hosted during the middle of summer in the United States, Incardona has gone viral throughout the tournament.
She was in Miami for Inter Miami's game against Egyptian side Al Ahly at the Hard Rock Stadium on the opening weekend of the event.
The next day, and almost 3,000 miles away from Miami, the 34-year-old was at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, to cover Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain against Atletico Madrid.
There was more excitement for Incardona there, with PSG thrashing their Spanish rivals 4-0 in the blazing California sunshine.
She first went viral Inter game in February after opting for a racy outfit when they faced fierce Serie A rivals Juventus.

‘A real shock': Bayern Munich confirm Musiala out for long period with leg fracture

Bayern Munich have said Jamal Musiala faces a 'lengthy' recovery from a leg fracture after his collision with Paris Saint-Germain's goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma at the Club World Cup. Bayern said on Sunday that Musiala had flown back from Florida to Munich that morning for surgery on the injury the attacking midfielder picked up in Saturday's loss to PSG in the quarter-finals. Bayern said doctors found Musiala 'sustained a fracture of the fibula [a bone in the lower leg] associated with a broken and dislocated ankle'. The Bayern board member for sport, Max Eberl, said in a statement: 'This serious injury and the lengthy lay-off are a real shock for Jamal and us all.' 'This hits FC Bayern. Everyone knows how immensely important Jamal is for our game and what a central role he has in our team. Furthermore, there's also a huge human impact and we all feel for him. Jamal has just come back from an injury and will now be out for another long period. He'll get everything he needs from us. We'll support him intensively, be by his side and already look forward to when he's back on the pitch.' The Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer was fiercely critical of Donnarumma over the incident on Saturday. '[This is] a situation where you don't have to go in like that; that's reckless,' he said. 'He accepts the risk of injuring his opponent … It's a question of respect to go over and wish the guy all the best. He did it afterwards. Fairness is always important. I would have reacted differently.' Vincent Kompany added that he had 'rarely been so angry' over an incident on the pitch. 'Someone like Jamal lives for this [game],' the Bayern head coach said. 'He's here after a setback and something like this happens. And you feel powerless.' After the match, Donnarumma posted on Instagram: 'All my prayers and well wishes are with you Jamal.' The PSG manager, Luis Enrique, said Musiala was ''very unlucky that Gigi fell on him … I wish him the best. There is no bad intent.'

Caitlyn Jenner bonds with her late manager Sophia Hutchins' mother in the wake of her tragic ATV death at 29

Caitlyn Jenner suffered a big loss this week when her right-hand woman, Sophia Hutchins, 29, died in a horror ATV crash on July 2. And on Saturday morning, Jenner was spotted finding comfort with Sophia's mother while out together in Malibu. Hutchins, like Jenner, was transgender and cited the father-of-six as the inspiration for coming out in college at Pepperdine University in 2016. Jenner looked somber as she strode ahead of Sophia's mother a day after she declined to speak about her late friend. Caitlyn wore a long-sleeved blue T-shirt with grey pants and a visor while Sophia's mom wore a long-sleeved green T-shirt and knee-length white shorts. Sophia wasn't just Jenner's manager, she was her friend and lived in the Olympian's Malibu mansion with her. Jenner looked somber in Malibu on Friday, marking the first time she had been seen in public since the tragedy - before exclusively telling she was going through 'tough times' navigating the loss of Hutchins. Putting on a brave face, she was seen waving at photographers before heading back to her $3.5million Malibu mansion. The star later said 'I don't want to talk' about the tragedy. In 2017, Hutchins moved into Jenner's home and began working as the star's manager, taking over the role from Jenner's ex-wife Kris Jenner, 69, after their 2015 divorce. Hutchins was in Jenner's inner circle for over a decade after she came out as a transgender woman in 2016. Hutchins met Caitlyn that year and appeared in multiple episodes of the television documentary series I Am Cait, a spin-off of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Despite living under one roof, Hutchins previously told The New York Times that they 'were never romantically involved', insisting it was all about work and friendship. 'Caitlyn is a parent to me. I have said that a million times. It is a parental, familial relationship,' Sophia said. In 2020, Sophia posed for an online ad campaign for Kim Kardashian's highly successful clothing line SKIMS. Sophia was particularly close to Kris Jenner, speaking to her regularly, and Hutchins also had a good relationship with Jenner's daughters Kendall, 29, and Kylie, 27. The siblings once gave Sophia a stunning heart-shaped diamond necklace for Christmas. 'I'm on good terms with all the family, but I'm closest with Kris, Kim, Kylie and Kendall', Sophia said. Sophia was formerly Scott Hutchins and began her transition while attending college, but previously revealed that she had identified as female at a young age. As a student at Pepperdine, she began to undergo certain medical procedures as well as hormone treatments and hair removal. The businesswoman had seen a therapist - who helped aid in the decision to transition but seeing Jenner's 20/20 interview where the star announced her own transition put everything into full swing. During an interview with her school newspaper in 2016, Hutchins reflected, 'I've always had the question of "Do I want to transition from male to female?" 'I never thought a lot about doing it until I got into college because I was able to break away from my family and started to establish my own identity.' She had also given credit to her time at school 'to deal with a lot of issues that had always been there.' And after watching Caitlyn's interview, Sophia explained that it, 'made it so much more real for [her], like normal and successful people do this and people are okay when they do it.' Hutchins ended up taking some time off of school in order to complete her gender transition. When she was at the age of 15, Hutchins remembered telling a friend that she was female for the first time. 'It's almost like it just came out. I didn't even mean to let it out since I had been so used to holding it in and brushing it under the rug.' In 2019 during an appearance on Jim Breslo's Hidden Truth Show, Sophia also got candid about her gender identity. The media personality remembered making comments about her gender dysmorphia to her parents as young as age five. After her transition, Hutchins stated, 'I truly feel my spirit, my soul, my mind is exactly the same, I am just so much more comfortable physically.' 'Before I transitioned I felt like "Yeah, I'm definitely just a girl, but I'm in the wrong body." And I felt trapped in that body.' She added, 'And I needed to have the hormones to change the body, for me, the surgeries to change the body. 'But for me, that's what I wanted to do, and that's what made me ultimately so at peace.'

Nationals fire manager Dave Martinez, GM Mike Rizzo amid another losing season

Manager Dave Martinez and general manager Mike Rizzo were fired by the Washington Nationals on Sunday, more than halfway through their sixth consecutive losing season since winning the 2019 World Series. The move came after the Nationals were swept by the Boston Red Sox. They are 37-53, and the only other National League club with a worse record is the Colorado Rockies. 'Our family is eternally grateful for their years of dedication to the organization, including their roles in bringing a World Series trophy to Washington,' owner Mark Lerner said in a statement. 'While we are appreciative of their past successes, the on-field performance has not been where we or our fans expect it to be. This is a pivotal time for our club, and we believe a fresh approach and new energy is the best course of action for our team moving forward.' Rizzo's time running the Nationals is over after more than a decade and a half. One of the Lerners' first hires when they assumed control of the organization, Rizzo had been GM since 2009 and had president of baseball operations added to his title in 2013. 'He played an instrumental role in leading the transformation of our farm system and building a roster that reached an unprecedented level of organizational success,' Lerner said. 'Mike helped make us who we are as an organization, and we're so thankful to him for his hard work and dedication.' Senior VP and assistant GM Mike DeBartolo is taking over for Rizzo on an interim basis. Washington has the No 1 pick in the upcoming draft. 'Mike DeBartolo is a smart and thoughtful executive, and we're fortunate to have him as part of our organization,' Lerner said. 'We are confident in his ability to lead the baseball operations staff through these next, important months.' Martinez became the fourth manager fired since the start of the season after Pittsburgh's Derek Shelton, Colorado's Bud Black and Baltimore's Brandon Hyde. It was not immediately clear who would succeed Martinez, who last month bristled at a question about how to spread the blame among players and coaches. 'It's never on coaching,' Martinez said in June. 'Never on coaching. Coaches work their (butts) off every single day. We're not going to finger point here and say it's coaches. It's never on the coaches. They work hard. The message is clear. All the work is done prior. So, sometimes, they have to go out there and play the game. It's always been about the players. Always.' Martinez had never been a manager at any level when Rizzo hired him to replace Dusty Baker before the 2018 season. The Nationals went 82-80 in Martinez's first season and got off to a 19-31 start the following year, leading to some calls for him to be replaced. But Rizzo stuck with Martinez, and that decision paid off in a big way: Led by starting pitchers Stephen Strasburg, who earned World Series MVP honors, and Max Scherzer, rookie outfielder Juan Soto, young shortstop Trea Turner and a string of veterans — including Howie Kendrick, Ryan Zimmerman and Anthony Rendon — the Nationals won the franchise's first title. They took a step back in the pandemic-shortened 2020 season, and then Rizzo began tearing apart the roster, making a series of trades that sent Scherzer, Soto, Turner and others elsewhere. The reconstruction has continued, without much in the way of concrete progress in the standings to show for it, although the team does have some building blocks that show promise, including starter MacKenzie Gore, shortstop CJ Abrams and outfielders James Wood and Dylan Crews. Gore and Wood are NL All-Stars. 'Nationals fans have a lot to be optimistic about, and we see these changes as a difficult, but necessary move in a positive direction,' Lerner said. 'As has been the case since my late father took control of the team almost 20 years ago, our family remains committed to winning.' Washington finished fourth or fifth in the NL East every year from 2020 through 2024, never putting together a higher winning percentage than the .438 (71-91) each of the last two seasons. The team is again in last place. Martinez's full record with the Nationals was 500-622. 'I've always appreciated and admired Davey's passion for the game of baseball and the love he has for his players,' Lerner said. 'Davey's ability to connect with our staff, our players, our fans and our community set him apart. While this chapter has come to an end, we know that it doesn't close the book on what should continue to be a long and successful career in baseball.'
