Venezia FC and NOCTA Draw Inspiration From 15th Century Cartography With 25/26 Home Jersey
The 25/26 Home Jersey draws inspiration from 15th-century cartography, crafted with breathable mesh side panels and featuring an all-black base. Bold orange and green panels stretch from the shoulder to the hem — paying homage to the Clb's traditional colors — while the TPU Venezia FC crest, NOCTA logo and the iconic St. Mark's Basilica star are spread across. A standout innovation is the use of silver as a core visual accent, bringing depth and elegance to the jersey. Designed by Diego Moscosoni, the jersey is available in two versions: the Venezia edition and the official Match Jersey featuring the Cynar Spritz logo.
This partnership, now in its second year, extends beyond traditional boundaries, focusing on the raw connection between football and culture. The 'Home Ground' concept conveys Venice's beauty, architecture, culture, and deep passion for fashion and sport. Venezia FC is the first Italian football club to collaborate with NOCTA as a technical sponsor, embracing a distinctive path where sport, culture, fashion and music converge.
'Renewing our collaboration with NOCTA is a source of great uniqueness,' said Tancredi Vitale, Managing Director of Venezia FC. 'This partnership reflects exactly what we want Venezia FC to represent: a Club rooted in tradition, but unafraid to innovate and lead. NOCTA brings global relevance, cultural depth, and a unique creative sensibility to the world of football. Home Ground is not just a campaign, it's the expression of VFC mission to introduce a new shared language into football, one that draws from and redefines global culture while staying true to the real identity of Venice. Together, we're not replicating existing models; we're creating our own, bold, authentic, and forward-looking. Every piece born from this collaboration expresses our values: attention to detail, creative courage, and a deep respect for identity. It's a wearable manifesto of who we are and where we're headed, a Club that honours its past while shaping a future that's ambitious, inclusive, and unmistakably Venetian.'
'The partnership isn't just about football, it's about Venice, one of the most historical cities in the world and their passion not only for the club but the city and what it represents,' said Matte Babel, Co-Founder of NOCTA. 'What's really exciting, is that while the team's identity is deeply rooted in their venetian heritage the organization isn't afraid to push boundaries. Designer Diego Moscosoni, who led the design team, was able to seamlessly blend sport and fashion. It's not about slapping a logo on a jersey, it's about crafting something that carries the unmistakable character of Venice and the raw, global energy of NOCTA'.
The jersey will debut on-pitch during Venezia FC's Coppa Italia Frecciarossa fixture against Mantova on Saturday, August 16. The 25/26 Home Jerseys are available for purchase starting July 23, 2025, at official Venezia FC stores andonline.

Emotional Kimi Antonelli Opens Up About Confidence Struggles At Belgian GP
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Mercedes driver Andrea Kimi Antonelli looked crushed after a disappointing Belgium Grand Prix Qualifying. Antonelli finished 20th in sprint qualifying due to spinning out of control after pushing too hard on his final lap of SQ1. He finished in 17th place for the sprint race, gaining a few places, but was unable to capture any points. Then, in qualifying for the grand prix, Antonelli finished in P18, a much lower position than the car merits. During the media session after the race, Antonelli appeared emotional following another performance. "Yeah, I mean, since the European [leg of the] season, I've been struggling to find confidence with the car, and I feel like I've done a backward step," the Italian driver said. "It's a difficult moment for me because I feel like I have no confidence on pushing. Yesterday I tried to push a bit too much, and then I spun, and then it kind of hurts the confidence even more. "But it's a difficult period, I think. We know the limitation we have since quite a lot, but with the way I'm driving, I'm just increasing the problem. And that gives me even less confidence with the car." He was only about three-tenths away after Q1, making his performance not a complete disaster, but it is a far cry from the impressive pace that he has shown over the first handful of races. During the North American swing, he scored a sprint race win at Miami and his first podium finish in Canada. Since then, it has been downhill for the driver, who voiced his concerns about the changes to his driving style as the car evolved. "Well, the team has been trying to help me as much as possible," he added. "But on my side I'm probably trying to change the way I'm driving too much. And it feels like I'm not driving naturally. It's very forced the way I'm driving and it's just difficult." The Italian will start from the pit lane as the team makes adjustments to the car, depending on the weather conditions, which are expected to bring rain to the track throughout the race. They did their renos over 20 years, so all the home's features seem new
As the owner of a home staging/decorating business , Susan Crema-Martin stages homes where the look lasts only until the house sells. For her own home in East Gwillimbury, she and husband, Michael, took a long-term approach, thoughtfully planning renovations and executing them in stages over two decades. As a result, the 1998 home they purchased 22 years ago has timeless appeal, with older and newer improvements blending seamlessly. 'It's always good practice when you buy a property, to wait, live in it and feel it (before making major changes),' Crema-Martin says. The improvements she and Michael have made over time, starting with the kitchen, and, recently, to the basement, were planned to maximize function and flow. She's 'not a trendy designer person' and her home reflects traditional transitional style, combining classic style and modern elegance. Over the years, improvements have been carried out to make the kitchen the hub of the home, update bathrooms for their son and daughter, accommodate her staging business inventory, and create flow to the backyard oasis with its deck, pool, hot tub and lush gardens. Function has been the priority for each reno, such as creating direct access from the outdoor hot tub through the tiled floor laundry room to the powder room. Now that Crema-Martin's business inventory is stored at another site, the basement has been transformed into a secondary suite, adding value to the home if the Martins ever decide to sell. Crema-Martin's family is Italian, and her visits to Italy influenced her love for timeless design. That's why her kitchen cabinetry is off-white, a colour that never goes out of style, and her kitchen countertops are honed marble, a stone that's been desirable for centuries. Although some people shy away from marble because they fear it's too soft, Crema-Martin points out that Italy's historic piazzas are paved with marble that has endured for centuries. Many of the furnishings in the home are mid-century modern. It is possible to add updated or fun touches to a home without breaking the bank, says Crema-Martin. The master bedroom in her family home got a minor refresh with a feature wall created with boldly patterned peel-and-stick wallpaper, and a new light fixture. The Martins' home was featured in June on the CFUW Aurora/Newmarket Home & Garden Tour, and Crema-Martin was amused when several people complimented the 'new' kitchen reno, when it's actually 20 years old. Even though their two kids are grown and living elsewhere, the empty-nester Martins have no plans to move elsewhere, Crema-Martin says. 'We love our house. It's open. It's bright. It's our happy place.'
