As part of his visit, the Egyptian minister participated in several meetings and specialized sessions, including a visit to Neom. There, he met with officials to review future projects and explore collaboration opportunities in maritime transport and emerging technologies.

Saudi media minister visits Al Arabiya headquarters in Riyadh following full operational relocation
Saudi Gazette report RIYADH — Minister of Media Salman Al-Dosari visited the headquarters of Al Arabiya Network in Riyadh on Sunday, following the network's full relocation of its editorial, administrative, and operational divisions to the Saudi capital. Three Companies to Operate New Low-Cost Saudi Airline from Dammam
The Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) unveiled that an alliance of three companies won a bid to operate a new Saudi national low-cost airline, according to Reuters. GACA announced that Air Arabia, Kun Investment Holding and Nesma would operate domestic and international flights from King Fahd international airport in Dammam. Therefore, the new airline will further foster air connectivity for the Eastern Region, increase seat capacity as well as offer competitive travel options for passengers. Crucially, the new flights seek to serve 57 international destinations and 24 local destinations by 2030. Through a fleet of 45 aircrafts, the airline aspires to carry approximately 10 million passengers per year while creating more than 2,400 job opportunities. Saudi finance minister calls for urgent reform of global trade system at G20 summit
Saudi Gazette report CAPE TOWN — Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed Al-Jadaan emphasized the urgent need to accelerate reform of the global trade system in response to shifting economic realities, during the third G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting held under South Africa's presidency on July 17–18. 'The fiscal space is shrinking at a time when financing needs are growing, leading to higher borrowing costs and mounting pressure on both governments and the private sector,' Al-Jadaan said during his address. He welcomed the G20 note on lessons learned from the Common Framework cases and the accompanying debt treatment steps document, noting their importance in strengthening transparency and predictability. He also stressed the need to continue supporting countries facing financial stress or short-term liquidity challenges. On the sidelines of the G20 meetings, Al-Jadaan held bilateral talks with several finance ministers to discuss global economic developments and topics of mutual meeting, hosted in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, brought together G20 finance ministers, central bank governors, invited country representatives, and heads of international and regional financial institutions.
