Llangollen to benefit from approx 180 extra parking spaces
The spaces will be available when there are no events on at the Pavilion or its grounds.
John Gambles, Chair of the Llangollen Eisteddfod says that opening up the grounds will be a significant boost to the local economy. There will a number of pay points on the site with a variety of ways to pay.

The changes will see the implementation of an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system. This advanced technology will significantly improve security, deter anti-social behaviour, and enable 24-hour monitoring of the car park and the Eisteddfod grounds.
The ANPR system will help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors to Llangollen.
Costs will be from 70p for 30 minutes for the main car park, £6 for up to 8 hours and £10 for 12 hours. The Pavilion field car park will have the same charges but with a maximum time of 8 hours. There will be no overnight parking.
Mr Gambles said: "For as long as I can remember, parking has been a huge issue in the centre of Llangollen. When we took over the Pavilion full-time in April, one of the first things we did was look if it was possible to open up our site for additional car parking.
"Any revenue raised will go towards running the Pavilion for the benefit of Llangollen and towards the running of the Llangollen Eisteddfod."
The field will be open from May 15, with the centre of Llangollen only 500 metres away.
The Eisteddfod say the changes have been carefully considered to balance public convenience, revenue protection, and the facilitation of future enhancements funded by this revenue. There will be no charge for parents of pupils at Ysgol Dinas Bran for parents dropping off and picking up.

There will be numerous mechanisms to pay for parking, including booking services for specific elements.
Mr Gambles added: "We appreciate resident's cooperation as we implement these new measures. Our goal is to provide a better, safer, and more enjoyable experience for everyone who visits Llangollen and the Royal Pavilion.
"We are certain that by adding close to 180 spaces in the heart of Llangollen, we will see a rise in visitors to our wonderful town."

Wrexham's Mark Lewis Jones to narrate Hans Zimmer concert
It is the opening concert of the 2025 Llangollen International Eisteddfod which takes place between July 8 and 13. Mark Lewis Jones, who hails from Rhos, Wrexham, is lending his unmistakable voice to what promises to be an unforgettable concert. Mark's narration will complement the music of Hans Zimmer, brought to life by Cinematic Sinfonia, an outstanding 70-piece orchestra under the baton of the internationally renowned conductor Anthony Gabriele. From the sweeping scores of Gladiator and Interstellar to the haunting themes of Inception, Hans Zimmer's music has defined a generation of cinema and now it will be performed live in Llangollen, with Mark's evocative voice guiding the audience through the emotional and cinematic journey. He previously won Best Actor at BAFTA Cymru for The Passing/Yr Ymadawiad and has been nominated an impressive seven times in the same category. Mark said: 'The Llangollen International Eisteddfod has been part of my life since I was a boy growing up in Rhos. KT Tunstall set to perform at Llangollen Eisteddfod
The BRIT Award-winning singer will perform at the International Eisteddfod on Thursday, July 10, marking 20 years since her breakthrough debut album, Eye to the Telescope, was released. Ms Tunstall's last visit to the festival was in the 1990s, when she drove down from Edinburgh to help a friend sell candles and incense from a van on the Eisteddfod field. Now, two decades after her rise to fame, she will headline a one-off concert in the Llangollen Pavilion, performing her iconic album live with a full orchestral arrangement. Ms Tunstall said: "He contacted me to explain the idea, and I had to say yes. "I'm so excited. "This will be the only chance people will have to see my music set to an orchestra. "The album, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, is very stripped-back music with four to five musicians. "To have an orchestra with me will be mind-blowing." The concert will feature reimagined versions of her hit songs, including Other Side of the World and Suddenly I See, performed with The Absolute Orchestra under the baton of Eisteddfod artistic director Dave Danford. Ms Tunstall said: "It is also out of my comfort zone as I am a bit of a control freak over my music, so I have had to learn to let go of the reins." Reflecting on her previous visit, she recalled: "I have been to the Eisteddfod before. "It was 1996/97 and my friend had a hippie shop in Edinburgh. "I drove down in a van and spent the week at the Eisteddfod selling things like candles and incense. "I loved it." The concert is part of her 2025 tour and will be the only UK date to feature a full orchestral arrangement. Elsewhere in the tour, Ms Tunstall will perform at London's Royal Albert Hall. She said: "I was thinking about getting a few friends round with a six-pack, and instead I will be celebrating with 5,000 people. "I have to pinch myself sometimes when I think it is the 20th anniversary of the album."
