Metro In Dino tells the experiences of numerous couples navigating modern love and relationships in metropolitan cities. The film delves into the intricacies, upheavals, and surprising decisions that define love in modern times. This is a spiritual sequel to the 2007 romance drama Life…In A Metro. While Konkona is the only actor who has been cast from the previous film, Pankaj plays a character similar to Irrfan Khan's Monty alongside her. He is portrayed as a unique, emotionally complex person navigating the complications of modern relationships.
The film is being praised for its genuine storyline, ensemble cast performances, and Pritam's haunting songs, which include Zamaana Lage, Aur Mohabbat Kitni Karoon, Qayde Se, Dil Ka Kya, and more.
Anurag Basu's next film is an untitled musical romance drama starring Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela in the major roles. The film, backed by T-Series, will be released this Diwali. It will face stiff competition from Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna's horror-comedy Thama.
