Sri Lanka has called up uncapped Milan Rathnayake, who missed the second test against Bangladesh because of an injury sustained in the first test.
Sri Lanka won the two-match test series 1-0.

Nantes make offer for South Korea international Hyun-seok Hong
FC Nantes have made an offer for South Korean international Hyun-seok Hong (26), according to Sky Sports Germany. The attacking midfielder currently plays for Mainz 05. Hong joined Mainz in August 2024 and has made 24 appearances for the Bundesliga club. Hong's current contract expires in 2028, having joined Mainz for a €4m fee. Osaka blows chance to reach Wimbledon fourth round
Japan's Naomi Osaka is out of Wimbledon (Kirill KUDRYAVTSEV) Naomi Osaka blew a golden opportunity to reach the Wimbledon fourth round for the first time as the Japanese star was beaten by Russian world number 50 Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova on Friday. Osaka was in a strong position after taking the first set on Court Two, but her bid to finally make the last 16 imploded as Pavlyuchenkova battled back to clinch a 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 victory. Osaka's four previous appearances at Wimbledon ended in two third-round defeats and losses in the first and second round. Once again she fell short at the grass-court Grand Slam. Since her triumph at the Australian Open four years ago, she is on a dismal run of 12 successive Grand Slam appearances without reaching the fourth round. Osaka, 27, gave birth to a daughter in July 2023, returning from a 15-month sabbatical for the start of the 2024 season. The former world number one, now down to 53rd in the WTA rankings, has always struggled on grass. England trailed by 338 runs in response to India's 587 all out but Brook (91) and Smith (102) were set on a good pitch at Edgbaston, with their partnership up to 165. Advertisement Behind 1-0 in the five-match series, India looked like steamrolling England after reducing the home team to 84-5 thanks to Siraj's double on the second over of the day. The pacer dismissed England's best batter — Root (22) — by enticing a nick down the leg side, with wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant taking a diving catch. Stokes arrived in the middle but was soon slowly walking back to the dressing room after a steeply rising and seaming delivery from Siraj came off the shoulder of the England captain's bat and flashed to Pant. England was rocked but Smith played as if there was no pressure, smashing three sixes as well as 14 fours — the last of which came in the final over before lunch and brought up his second test century. It came off just 80 balls, making it the third fastest by an English player.
